Abstract

The invention relates to a container (1) for cooling at least substantially cylindrical objects (2), in which the container (1) is provided with at least two cooling walls (3, 4), each connected to the other in an annular lower side (5), each having an outside wall (17, 18) and two side edges (7, 8, 9, 10) extending from the lower side (5) to an upper part (11, 12) of the wall, the side edges (7, 8, 9, 10) of adjacent cooling walls (3, 4) tapering towards each other from the upper part (11, 12) to the lower side (5), and an accommodation chamber (21, 22) being formed in each cooling wall (3, 4) for accommodation of a removable cooling element (24, 25), which accommodation chamber (21, 22) is bounded by a part of a substantially circular bottom contour (19), the outside wall (17, 18) and the side edges (7, 8, 9, 10).
