Abstract

Balai comprenant un boîtier (2) comportant une buse d'aspiration (3) à brosse motorisée (4) , un compartiment à poussières (9) renfermant un filtre (10) et délimité par au-moins une paroi antérieure transversale (11) présentant une ouverture (12) communiquant avec ladite buse et une paroi postérieure transversale (13) présentant une ouverture de sortie (14) communiquant avec un orifice d'aspiration (15) d' un carter (16) renfermant un ventilateur centrifuge (17) motorisé. Selon l'invention, la paroi postérieure (13) est agencée à légère distance du filtre, et l'ouverture de sortie (14) débouche dans une chambre intermédiaire (26) à axe vertical dont la région supérieure présente un débouché (27) qui vient s'adapter à l'orifice d'aspiration du carter, ledit carter (16) étant ainsi positionné à plat sur le boîtier. L'invention s'applique au domaine de l'électroménager.
