Abstract

Katalysator, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er eine Zusammensetzung umfassend Palladium, Platin, Zinnoxid, ein Trägeroxid und Zeolith enthält. Wahlweise kann der Katalysator mit Oxiden des Galliums, Indiums oder Eisens dotiert sein. Weiter werden ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Katalysators, seine Verwendung zur Entfernung von Schadstoffen aus mageren Verbrennungsmotoren und Ablüften sowie Verfahren zur Entfernung von Schadstoffen aus Abgasen von mageren Verbrennungsmotoren unter Verwendung des Katalysators durch Oxidieren von Kohlenmonoxid und Kohlenwasserstoffen unter gleichzeitigem Entfernen von Rußpartikeln durch Oxidation offenbart.
