Abstract
Es wird ein Verfahren zur räumlich verteilten und/oder entfernten Messung von physikalischen Größen unter Auswertung von aus wenigstens einem Lichtwellenleiter (21) rückgestreuter optischer Signale, vorgeschlagen, bei dem ein elektrisches digitales Modulationssignal zur Erzeugung eines modulierten Laserlichts dient, und das von dem wenigstens einen Lichtwellenleiter (21) rückgestreute Signal breitbandig einem A/D-Wandler (14, 34, 54) zugeführt und in ein digitales Antwortsignal umgesetzt wird, und wobei das digitale Antwortsignal n-fach mit dem Modulationssignal zur Bildung von n-Messdatensätzen korreliert wird, und die n-Messdatensätze an einen Auswerterechner (40) zur Auswertung unmittelbar oder über eine Zwischenspeicherung (58) übergeben werden zur Bildung und Ausgabe ortsaufgelöster Messwerte, sowie eine Messeinrichtung und ein faseroptisches Sensorkabel (2).
