Abstract
L'invention concerne un outil de personnalisation en association avec un utilitaire de gestionnaire type de dispositif universel (DTM). L'outil de personnalisation comporte un ensemble d'interfaces utilisateur et une fonctionnalité associée qui facilite la création d'un ensemble de modèles personnalisés pour un type de dispositif particulier. Le modèle personnalisé définit l'accès à des données de dispositif par le biais d'interfaces graphiques supportées par l'utilitaire DTM universel et/ou l'utilitaire BTM universel pour des instances du type de dispositif. Un outil de comparaison permet de comparer des valeurs de paramètres à partir d'une instance d'un dispositif de terrain à des valeurs correspondantes conservées dans une base de données d'application. Après la comparaison, l'utilitaire affiche les noms de paramètres et les valeurs associées en trois colonnes de l'interface utilisateur. Une première colonne identifie un paramètre dans le dispositif de terrain. Une deuxième colonne identifie une valeur précédemment archivée pour le paramètre identifié dans la première colonne, et une troisième colonne identifie une valeur courante, capturée à partir d'une instance de dispositif, correspondant au paramètre identifié dans la première colonne.
