[0021] 前記浄化用爆薬 1のセット後、前記内蓋 33及び前記耐圧蓋 11を閉じることにより前 記耐圧容器 10内が密閉され、その密閉状態で爆破処理が行われる。具体的には、 前記起爆装置が浄化用爆薬 1を爆発させる。この爆発は、衝撃波の伝播を起こす。 その衝撃波面の空気が圧縮されて高温化するとともに、当該衝撃波が耐圧容器 10 の内壁面 1 Oaに到達した時点で前記爆薬 1の燃焼したガスが極度の圧力上昇によつ て約 10000°C以上の高温に達する。
[0022] このようにして生成された高温の空気および爆薬の高温燃焼ガスは、浄化対象が 固体、気体、液体のいずれであっても当該浄化対象を瞬時に分解する機能を有する 。すなわち、この浄化方法が実行される前に耐圧容器 10の内部に残留していた残留 物わ、その残留物が固体、気体、液体のいずれであるかにかかわらず、短時間で分 解し、浄化する機能を有する。この機能は、残留物の状態に拘わらず処理時間の短 縮を可能にする。
[0023] この方法は、本実施形態のように浄化用爆薬 1が内壁面 10aから離れた耐圧容器 1 0の中心部にセットされた場合に特に有効である。このように中心部に浄ィ匕用爆薬 1 をセットすることは、当該浄ィ匕用爆薬 1を前記内壁面 10aの上に当該内壁面 10aと接 触するようにセットすることよりも、高温の空気および爆薬の高温燃焼ガスが耐圧容器 10の内壁面 10aの各部に対して偏りの少ない状態で到達することを可能にする。こ のことは、前述のように互いに残留位置が異なる液体残留物 A、固体残留物 B、及び 気体残留物 Cのいずれをもその残留位置に拘わらず有効に分解することを可能にす る。
[0024] ただし、本発明にお 、て浄ィ匕用爆薬のセット位置は耐圧容器 10の中心部に限られ ない。例えば、耐圧容器 10の内壁面 10aに接触する位置や、内壁面 10aから離れた 任意の位置であってもよい。また、軸心方向に長く延びる形状を有する耐圧容器で は、その長手方向に分散する複数箇所にそれぞれ前記浄ィ匕用爆薬がセットされても よい。
[0025] 本発明では、耐圧容器の具体的構造も限定されない。例えば、この耐圧容器は、 二重構造の他、一重構造または三重構造であってもよい。 [0026] 本発明に係る浄ィ匕処理の前の爆破処理工程では、爆破対象物の種類が限定され ない。前記の実施の形態では、炸薬 (爆薬) 112および化学剤 (有害物質) 121を有 する化学爆弾 100が爆破処理される力 前記炸薬 112および前記化学剤 121の少 なくとも一方が省略されたもの、或いは、例えば有機ハロゲン等の有害物質を容器に 入れたものも爆破対象物となり得る。つまり、これらの爆破処理物の爆破により生じた 残留物も本発明に係る净化方法により有効に净化され得る。
[0027] また、前記爆破処理工程にぉ 、て複数回の爆破処理が行われる場合、それぞれの 爆破処理で同一種類の爆破対象物が処理されてもよいし、爆破処理ごとに異なる種 類の爆破対象物が処理されてもょ ヽ。
実施例
[0028] 本発明者は、本発明の有用性の確認のため、前記化学爆弾 100の構成及び爆薬 量を模した模擬化学爆弾を爆破用爆薬により耐圧容器 10内で実際に爆破させ、こ のときに生成された残留物を、適宜の量の浄化用爆薬 1を爆発させることにより分解 した。このときの残留物 (浄化処理前)の成分と、分解後 (浄化処理後)の成分とが表
1に示される。この表 1中の分析値は、ガス中の化学剤(有害物質)の残留濃度を示 す。

この表 1は、ジシァノベンゼン (三重結合)の残留濃度力 その浄ィ匕処理前の段階( 模擬化学爆弾を爆破させた直後の段階)では 0. 02[mg/m3N] t ヽぅ高 ヽ数値か ら、浄ィ匕処理によって 0. 005 [mgZm3N]よりも小さい値、つまり、残留物の廃棄が 可能な分析値レベルにまで低減ィ匕されることを示している。一方、ォレイン酸(二重結 合)の残留濃度は、浄ィ匕処理の前後にかかわらず分析限界の 0. 08[mgZm3N]よ り小さ!、値となって!/、て残留物の廃棄が可能なレベルである。
[0031] 以上のように、本発明は、耐圧容器内に爆破対象物と爆破用爆薬とをセットして爆 破する爆破処理工程の後に、当該耐圧容器内に残存する前記爆破対象物の残留 物を分解して浄ィ匕する方法を提供する。この方法は、前記爆破処理工程の後、前記 爆破対象物とは別の浄ィ匕用爆薬であって前記爆破処理物の残留物の分解に必要な 量の爆薬を前記耐圧容器の内部にセットする工程と、前記耐圧容器内で前記浄ィ匕 用爆薬を爆発させることにより当該耐圧容器内の前記残留物を分解する工程とを含 む。
[0032] この浄化方法では、耐圧容器の内部に浄ィ匕用爆薬をセットすることと、セットした浄 化用爆薬を爆発させることだけで浄ィ匕が達成される。このことは、処理時間の短縮を 可能にする。また、前記残留物が固体、液体、気体のいずれであってもその分解処 理が次のようにして短時間で行われる。つまり、前記浄化用爆薬の爆発が衝撃波の 伝播を起こし、衝撃波面の空気が圧縮されて高温化するとともに、前記衝撃波が耐 圧容器の内壁面に到達した時点で浄ィ匕用爆薬の燃焼したガスが極度の圧力上昇に より高温に達する。この高温の空気および爆薬の高温燃焼ガスは、固体、気体、液体 に限らず、これらを瞬時に分解する機能を有するから、残留物の状態に拘わらずそ の残留物を短時間で浄ィ匕することができる。
[0033] 前記浄化用爆薬は、前記耐圧容器の内壁面カゝら離れた位置にセットされることが、 より好ましい。このような位置への浄ィ匕用爆薬のセットは、当該浄化用爆薬が耐圧容 器の内壁面に接触するようにセットされる場合に比べ、高温の空気および爆薬の高 温燃焼ガスが耐圧容器の内壁面の各部に対してより偏りの少ない状態で到達するこ とを可能にする。

請求の範囲
[1] 耐圧容器内に爆破対象物と爆破用爆薬とをセットして爆破する爆破処理工程の後 に、当該耐圧容器内に残存する前記爆破対象物の残留物を分解して浄化するため の爆破処理用耐圧容器内の浄化方法であって、
前記爆破処理工程の後、前記爆破対象物とは別の浄ィ匕用爆薬であって前記爆破 処理物の残留物の分解に必要な量の爆薬を前記耐圧容器の内部にセットするセット 工程と、
前記耐圧容器内で前記浄化用爆薬を爆発させることにより当該耐圧容器内の前記 残留物を分解する分解工程と、を含む。

前記セット工程では、前記浄ィ匕用爆薬が前記耐圧容器の内壁面カゝら離れた位置に セットされる。
