Abstract

Procédé de mesure à la volée de la longueur suivant un axe (z'z) d'une anode (20) par électrolyse ignée dans lequel: i) on suspend ladite anode à un organe de préhension (13a) qui est muni d'un capteur de déplacement mesurant la position verticale du point d'accrochage (O); ii) on déplace verticalement ledit organe de préhension, de sorte que la surface inférieure (21 a) de l'anode traverse un plan (P) formé par n faisceaux (fi,.., fi,.., fn) et, à chaque fois qu'un desdits faisceaux i (i=1 à n) est perturbé par la traversée de la surface inférieure de l'anode, on mesure la position verticale hι dudit point d'accrochage (O); iii) on mesure l'angle d'inclinaison de l'axe zz' de la tige d'anode et on déduit à partir des valeurs mesurées hi (i=1 à n), et de la valeur de l'inclinaison de la tige d'anode, la distance entre le point d'accrochage et la surface inférieure (21a) du bloc anodique (21).
