[0009] 一方、上述した特許第 3227881号公報に示されているような従来の表面実装機に おいては、前工程の表面実装機において一部の電子部品が実装されたプリント配線 板に残りの電子部品を実装することがある。
発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0010] 上述したように構成された従来の表面実装機では、搬送方向の長さが前側爪部材と 後側爪部材との間隔より長いプリント配線板がローデイングユニットに送られた場合、 両爪部材を搬送位置に下げるときに前側爪部材と後側爪部材との一方または両方 がプリント配線板面に上方力も接触するおそれがある。
[0011] このプリント配線板に前工程を行う表面実装機によって電子部品の一部が実装され ていた場合、上述したように爪部材がプリント配線板に接触すると、接触時に生じる 衝撃によって前記電子部品が所定の実装位置力 移動してしまう。
[0012] 本発明はこのような問題を解消するためになされたもので、当接部材を下げるときに プリント配線板上に当接部材が接触することがない表面実装機を提供することを目的 とする。
課題を解決するための手段
[0013] この目的を達成するために、本発明に係る表面実装機は、プリント配線板を搬送方 向に移動可能に支承する搬送路形成部材と、この搬送路形成部材に載せられたプリ ント配線板に対し搬送方向の上流側と下流側とに離間した位置に当接部材を下ろし 、これらの当接部材を搬送方向に移動させる基板移動装置とを備えた表面実装機に おいて、前記基板移動装置は、前記一対の当接部材の間隔を変える間隔変更装置 と、前記搬送路形成部材上に位置するプリント配線板の位置を検出するセンサと、前 記センサによって検出されたプリント配線板の位置に基づいて前記両当接部材を下 ろす位置におけるプリント配線板の有無を判定する干渉判定手段と、この干渉判定 手段の検出結果に基づいて前記間隔変更装置による駆動によって当接部材を移動 させる間隔設定手段とを備えているものである。
発明の効果
[0014] 本発明によれば、前側当接部材と後側当接部材とを搬送位置に移動させることによ りこれらの当接部材が下がる位置にプリント配線板が存在して 、る場合、これらの当 接部材をプリント配線板力 離間する方向に移動させ、これらの当接部材がプリント 配線板上に接触するのを防ぐことができる。したがって、本発明によれば、前側当接 部材および後側当接部材が搬送位置に下がるときにプリント配線板上に接触するの を確実に防ぐことができる。この結果、本発明に係る表面実装機によれば、電子部品 が予め実装されているプリント配線板を前記電子部品がプリント配線板上で移動させ てしまうのを防ぎながら搬送し、このプリント配線板に残りの電子部品を実装すること ができる。

[0044] 保持位置センサ 38を取付ける位置は、コンベア 34上の所定の保持位置にプリント 配線板 2を載せた状態で、このプリント配線板 2の搬送方向下流側の端縁がレーザ光 38aを遮るような位置に設定されている。保持位置センサ 38の検出結果は、後述す る基板搬送用制御装置 40に検出データとして送られる。基板搬送用制御装置 40は 、保持位置センサ 38から検出データが送られたときに基板移動装置 14による搬送 動作を停止させる。
[0045] 前記基板停止不可位置センサ 39は、プリント配線板 2が実装ユニット間、または搬 入装置 12と第 1の実装ユニット 3との間や第 4の実装ユニット 6と搬出装置 13との間に 位置している力否かを検出するためのものである。この基板停止不可位置センサ 39 は、前記保持位置センサ 38と同じ構成のものが使用されている。すなわち、基板停 止不可位置センサ 39は、一方の縦部材 36上端部に設けられた発光素子 39aと、他 方の縦部材 36の上下方向の中間部に設けられた受光素子 39bとからなり、発光素 子 39aから受光素子 3bbの受光部 39cに入射する検知用レーザ光 39dがプリント配 線板 2によって遮られることによりプリント配線板 2を検出する。

前記基板移動装置は、前記一対の当接部材の間隔を変える間隔変更装置と、 前記搬送路形成部材上に位置するプリント配線板の位置を検出するセンサと、 前記センサによって検出されたプリント配線板の位置に基づ!/、て前記両当接部材 を下ろす位置におけるプリント配線板の有無を判定する干渉判定手段と、
この干渉判定手段の検出結果に基づいて前記間隔変更装置による駆動によって 当接部材を移動させる間隔設定手段とを備えていることを特徴とする表面実装機。

この搬送路形成部材と、前記搬送路形成部材の実装位置を境として搬送位置とは 反対側の基台上に設けた電子部品供給装置と、電子部品吸着用の吸着ヘッドを、 基台上方において第 1の方向と第 2の方向とに移動させることにより、前記電子部品 供給装置から、実装位置にある前記搬送路形成部材上のプリント配線板上に電子部 品を移動させる電子部品移動装置とからなる実装ユニットを前記基台上に第 1の方 向に複数搭載し、
前記基板移動装置は、プリント配線板の搬送方向の下流側に位置する前側当接部 材と、前記搬送方向の上流側に位置する後側当接部材とからなる搬送ユニットを有 し、複数の実装ユニットの数と同数の搬送ユニットを、前記搬送方向に並べたことを 特徴とする表面実装機。
[7] 請求項 6記載の表面実装機において、
基板移動装置を基台における第 2の方向中央部の上方に配置し、
前記基台の第 2の方向中央部を境として第 2の方向一方の側に、電子部品供給装 置、搬送路形成部材の実装位置および電子部品移動装置を配置した実装ユニットと 前記基台の第 2の方向中央部を境として第 2の方向他方の側に、電子部品供給装 置、搬送路形成部材の実装位置および電子部品移動装置を配置した実装ユニットと を、第 1の方向に交互に配置し、
前記複数の実装ユニットのうち第 1の方向に隣り合う 2つの実装ユニットは、一方の 実装ユニットに対して他方の実装ユニットを第 1の方向にずらすことにより平面視にお いて千鳥足状に位置するように装備され、
これらの実装ユニットの各搬送路形成部材は、搬送位置に位置付けられた状態で 第 1の方向に並び、プリント配線板の搬送路を構成することを特徴とする表面実装機
[8] 請求項 1記載の表面実装機において、
前記基板移動装置は、搬送方向に延びるように設けられたボールねじ軸と、このボ ールねじ軸に螺合する複数のボールナットと、このボールナットをそれぞれ駆動する 複数の中空モータを有し、この各中空モータによる駆動によってボールねじ軸に沿つ て平行移動する複数の移動部材とを備え、
この複数の移動部材のそれぞれに、前記各当接部材を配置したことを特徴とする 表面実装機。
請求項 1記載の表面実装機において、
基台上に立設され、基台上面力 上方に延びるとともに、プリント配線板の搬送方 向となる第 1の方向とは直交する第 2の方向に延在する複数の支持台と、 前記第 1の方向に延びるように前記支持台間に架け渡され、これらの支持台に前 記第 2の方向に移動自在に支持された支持部材とを備え、
この支持部材に、電子部品吸着用の吸着ヘッドを有するヘッドユニットが第 1の方 向に移動自在に支持されるとともに、
前記第 1の方向に延在して前記支持台の上端部どうしを接続するフレーム部材が 設けられ、
このフレーム部材に基板移動装置が支持されていることを特徴とする表面実装機。
