背景技術
[0002] 周方向溝と、タイヤ幅方向に対して傾斜した横溝を備えた空気入りタイヤが提案さ れている(例えば、特許文献 1参照)。

[0003] 従来の空気入りタイヤでは、一対のショルダー周方向溝の間に、タイヤ軸方向に対 して傾斜する第 1の横溝、及び第 1の横溝よりもタイヤ軸方向に対する角度が小さい 第 2の横溝が形成され、ショルダー周方向溝の外側には第 1の横溝の延長線上に第
3の横溝が配置されていた。
[0004] 従来の空気入りタイヤにおいても、ある程度のトラクシヨン性能は得られていたが、 巿場では、さらなるトラクシヨン性能の向上が求められている。
[0005] 本発明は、上記問題を解決すべく成されたもので、従来よりもさらにトラクシヨン性能 を向上した空気入りタイヤを提供することが目的である。
課題を解決するための手段

以上説明した本実施形態に係る空気入りタイヤによれば、センターブロック 107を 形成する溝 (周方向溝 103及び幅方向溝 105)の少なくとも一部が底上底面 115aで 形成されていることによって、センターブロック 107の剛性とショルダーブロック 109の 剛性とが均等になり、ドライ路面やウエット路面、氷雪路面での走行性能、特に、氷雪 路面での操縦安定性や加速性能、制動性能を向上させることができる。
[0072] また、ブロック(センターブロック 107及びショルダーブロック 109)に幅方向サイプ 1 11が形成されていることによって、氷雪路面でのグリップ力(いわゆる、エッジ効果) を向上させて、氷雪路面での操縦安定性や加速性能、制動性能を向上させることが できるとともに、接地面(トレッド踏面と路面との間)の水 ·雪等を幅方向サイプに逃が すことができ、タイヤの浮き上がる現象であるハイドロプレーニングを防止することが できる。
[0073] さらに、センターブロック 107がショルダーブロック 109よりもタイヤ赤道線 CL側に位 置することによって、ショルダーブロック 109を形成する溝のボリュームを確保するとと もに、該ショルダーブロックにおける雪柱によるせん断強度 (せん断力)を低下させる ことがないため、ドライ路面やウエット路面、氷雪路面での操縦安定性や加速性能、 制動性能、トラクシヨン性能等の走行性能を向上させることができる。
[0074] また、複数隣接するセンターブロック 107のうち 1つのセンターブロック 107 (すなわ ち、内側ブロック 107A)を形成する溝の少なくとも一部が最底上底面 117aで形成さ れていることによって、センターブロック 107の剛性低下をさらに抑制することができ、 ドライ路面やウエット路面、氷雪路面での操縦安定性や加速'制動性能、トラクシヨン 性能等の走行性能をさらに向上させることができる。
[0075] また、ショルダーブロック 109に周方向サイプ 113が形成されていることによって、コ ーナリング時における接地面の摩擦を大きくすることができ、コーナリング時における 横滑りを防止することができるとともに、ウエット路面や氷雪路面でのコーナリング時 におけるハイドロプレーニングを防止することができる。
[0076] また、三角ブロック 107Cがトレッド平面視で三角形であることによって、氷雪路面で の三角ブロック 107Cの貫入力を増大させて、氷雪路面での走行性能 (例えば、操縦 安定性や加速 ·制動性能、トラクシヨン性能)をさらに向上させることができる。

[0078] なお、三角ブロック 107Cがトレッド平面視で三角形であるため、鈍角な角部の剛性 が低下してしまうことが考えられる。しかし、傾斜細溝 119の底面がタイヤ赤道線 CL 側からトレッド幅方向外側へ向けて傾斜して上がっていることに加え、サイプよりも剛 性に優れる細穴 121が配置されていることで、三角ブロック 107Cの剛性を確保する ことができる。
[0079] これにより、ショルダーブロック 109よりも小さぐかつ、荷重が大きく集中しやすいタ ィャ赤道線 CL側におけるセンターブロック 107の変形を抑制することができるため、 センターブロック 107内におけるタイヤ赤道線 CL側の剛性を向上させることができ、 ドライ路面やウエット路面、氷雪路面での操縦安定性や加速'制動性能、トラクシヨン 性能等の走行性能をさらに向上させることができる。 [0080] [その他の実施の形態]

•ホイールサイズ : 15 X 6JJ
• 内圧条件 : 200kPa
•車両条件 : FR車 (排気量 2500cc) '荷重条件 : ドライバー 1名 + 60kg (2名乗車相当)
まず、比較例及び実施例に係る空気入りタイヤの構成について説明する。なお、各 空気入りタイヤは、以下で説明する溝におけるトレッド踏面力 底面までの深さ以外 については同一条件である。
[0088] 比較例に係る空気入りタイヤでは、センターブロック及びショルダーブロックを形成 する溝 (周方向溝及び幅方向溝)におけるトレッド踏面力 底面までの深さが全て同 一である。この比較例に係る空気入りタイヤは、以下の条件である。

•周方向溝の幅 : 9. 5mm (タイヤ赤道線上)、 5. Omm (ショルダー側)

•周方向サイプの幅 : 1. Omm
•幅方向サイプの幅 : 0. 4mm
-糸田溝の幅 : 1. 5mm
•細穴の径 : φ 1. 5mm
実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、上述した第 2実施形態に係る空気入りタイヤである (図 2〜図 6参照)。この実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、以下の条件である。

この比較例及び実施例に係る空気入りタイヤのドライ路面での操縦安定性、ゥエツ ト路面での操縦安定性及びノ、イド口プレーニング、氷雪路面での加速性能、制動性 能及び操縦安定性について、表 1を参照しながら説明する。

各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、ドライ路面のテストコースを一定の速度で走行し

各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、ウエット路面のテストコースを一定の速度で走行 し、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤの操縦安定性を" 100"とし、実施例に係る空気入り タイヤの操縦安定性をプロドライバ一にてフィーリング評価した。なお、指数が大きい ほど、操縦安定性に優れている。
[0095] この結果、実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤに比べ、ゥ エツト路面における操縦安定性に優れていることが分力 た。
[0096] <ウエット路面でのハイドロプレーニング >
各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、ウエット路面のテストコース(R= 100mの Tターン )において、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤを速度 5kmZh刻みで上げてコーナリング 時におけるライントレースが不可能な最高速度を" 100"とし、実施例に係る空気入り タイヤのコーナリング時におけるライントレースが不可能な最高速度を指数表示した。 なお、指数が大きいほど、ハイドロプレーニングを防止することができる。
[0097] この結果、実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤに比べ、ゥ エツト路面でコーナリング時におけるノ、イド口プレーニングを防止することができること が分かった。
[0098] <氷雪路面での加速性能 >
各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、氷雪路面のテストコースにおいて、比較例に係 る空気入りタイヤの速度 OkmZhから 20kmZhとなるまでの加速時間を" 100"とし、 実施例に係る空気入りタイヤの加速時間を指数表示した。なお、指数が大きいほど、 加速性能に優れている。
[0099] この結果、実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤに比べ、 氷雪路面での加速性能に優れていることが分力つた。
[0100] <氷雪路面での制動性能 >
各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、氷雪路面のテストコースにおいて、比較例に係 る空気入りタイヤを時速 20kmZhで走行して車輛のブレーキが掛けられて力 Okm
Zhとなるまでの停止距離を" 100"とし、実施例に係る空気入りタイヤの停止距離を 指数表示した。なお、指数が大きいほど、制動性能に優れている。
[0101] この結果、実施例に係る空気入りタイヤは、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤに比べ、 氷雪路面での制動性能に優れていることが分力つた。

各空気入りタイヤを車両に装着し、氷雪路面のテストコースを一定の速度で走行し
、比較例に係る空気入りタイヤの操縦安定性を" 100"とし、実施例に係る空気入りタ ィャの操縦安定性をプロドライバ一にてフィーリング評価した。なお、指数が大きいほ ど、操縦安定性に優れている。

前記トレッドに配置され、タイヤ赤道線側力 前記ショルダー周方向溝に向けて延 び、タイヤ軸方向に対する傾斜角度が前記 0 ° よりも小さい

前記複数のブロックのうちタイヤ赤道線側に位置するセンターブロックは、前記セン ターブロックよりもトレッド幅方向外側に配置されるショルダーブロックよりも小さぐ 前記センターブロックを形成する溝の少なくとも一部は、前記ショルダーブロックを 形成する前記溝における前記トレッド踏面力 底面までの深さよりも浅い深さである 底上底面で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項 1又は請求項 2に記載の空気入り タイヤ。
[4] 複数隣接する前記センターブロックのうち 1つの前記センターブロックを形成する溝 の少なくとも一部は、前記底上底面までの深さよりも浅 、深さである最底上底面で形 成されていることを特徴とする請求項 3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
[5] 前記ショルダーブロックには、タイヤ周方向に向力つて延びる周方向サイプが形成 されていることを特徴とする請求項 3又は請求項 4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
[6] 複数隣接する前記センターブロックのうち少なくとも一つのブロックは、トレッド平面 視において三角形力もなる三角ブロックであり、
前記三角ブロックを形成する前記溝の少なくとも一辺は、底面が傾斜するとともに、 前記溝よりも細 ヽ傾斜細溝で形成されて ヽることを特徴とする請求項 3から請求項 5 の!、ずれか 1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
[7] 前記三角ブロックに設けられ、前記トレッド踏面力 タイヤ径方向内側へ向力つて延 びる細穴が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項 6に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
