発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0014] 以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。ただし、実 施の形態において、同一機能を有する構成には同一符号を付し、重複する説明は 省略する。
[0015] (実施の形態 1)
図 4は、本発明の実施の形態 1に係る送信装置 100の構成を示すブロック図である 。この図において、伝搬ロスレベル測定部 101は、下り回線信号(共通パイロットチヤ ネル)の受信電力を測定し、測定した受信電力を既知の送信電力から差し引くことに より、伝搬ロスレベル (信号電力の減衰量 [dB] )を算出する。算出した伝搬ロスレべ ルは伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102に出力される。なお、共通パイロットチャネルの送信 電力は、システムによって予め決められており、共通パイロットチャネルは一定の電力 で送信される。
[0016] 伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102は、伝搬ロスレベル測定部 101から出力された伝搬ロス レベルと、予め設定された所定の閾値との閾値判定を行う。ここでは、 2つの異なる閾 値 Thlと閾値 Th2 (く Thl)を用いるものとし、伝搬ロスレベルを大中小の 3つにレべ ル分けする。すなわち、伝搬ロスレベルが閾値 Thl以上であれば、伝搬ロスレベルは 大と判定し、伝搬ロスレベルが閾値 Th2以上かつ閾値 Thl未満であれば、伝搬ロス レベルは中と判定し、伝搬ロスレベルが閾値 Th2未満であれば、伝搬ロスレベルは 小と判定する。伝搬ロスレベルの判定結果(大中小レベル)は Signature選択部 104 に出力される。なお、伝搬ロスレベル測定部 101及び伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102は 伝搬遅延量推定手段として機能する。
[0017] Signatureテーブル記憶部 103は、伝搬ロスレベルの大中小の各レベルに、それぞ れ異なるプリアンブル検出窓と、各 CAZAC系列から生成される Signatureとを対応付 けたテーブル(Signatureテープノレ)を記憶して!/、る。 Signatureテーブルの詳細につ!/ヽ ては後述する。
[0018] Signature選択部 104は、伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102から出力された伝搬ロスレべ ル判定結果に応じた Signatureのうちいずれかを Signatureテーブル記憶部 103からラ ンダムに読み出し、読み出した Signatureを RACH生成部 105に出力する。
[0019] RACH生成部 105は、 Signature選択部 104から出力された Signatureをプリアンプ ルとする RACH信号を生成し、生成した RACH信号を変調部 106に出力する。
[0020] 変調部 106は、 RACH生成部 105から出力された RACH信号を変調し、無線部 1 07は、変調された RACH信号に D/A変換、アップコンバート等の所定の無線送信 処理を施し、アンテナ 108から送信する。
[0021] 図 5は、図 4に示した Signatureテーブル記憶部 103が保持する Signatureテーブル を示す図である。この図において、伝搬ロスレベルの大中小の各レベルは基地局か らの距離に応じた信号電力の減衰量に相当するものとする。例えば、伝搬ロスレベル 大は、セル半径 10kmまでを想定した伝搬ロス、伝搬ロスレベル中は、セル半径 5km までを想定した伝搬ロス、伝搬ロスレベル小は、セル半径 1. 5kmまでを想定した伝 搬ロスである。
[0022] そして、伝搬ロスレベルの大中小の各レベルには、それぞれ異なるプリアンブル検 出窓が対応付けられている。プリアンブル検出窓の長さは、伝搬ロスレベルから推定 される伝搬遅延時間に対応する長さに予め設定される。よって、プリアンブル検出窓 の長さは、伝搬ロスレベルが大きいほど長ぐ伝搬ロスレベルが小さいほど短くなる。 [0023] また、 Signaturedを生成するための循環シフト量は、図 5及び図 6に示すように、 Sig nature#(n-l)のプリアンブル検出窓と同じ長さとする。例えば、図 5を参照するに、 Sig naturesを作成するための循環シフト量は、 Signature 1のプリアンブル検出窓の長さ l lusecとする。これにより、伝搬ロスレベルに応じたプリアンブル検出窓において各 S ignatureが重なることを回避することができる。よって、受信プリアンブル信号が予め 設定されたプリアンブル検出窓を超えない限り、受信側でのプリアンブル検出にぉレ、 て、他の Signatureと干渉することはない。
[0024] ここで、伝搬ロスレベルが小さいほどプリアンブル検出窓を短くしている理由は、伝 搬ロスレベルの大小から伝搬遅延量が推定できるためである。すなわち、伝搬ロスレ ベルが小さい場合、基地局からの距離が近ぐ伝搬遅延量は小さいと推定できる。一 方、伝搬ロスレベルが大きい場合は、基地局からの距離が遠いと一律に判定すること はできず、推定は困難となる。これは、移動機が建物内にいる場合など、基地局から の距離は近いものの、伝搬ロスは大きくなることがあるためである。よって、伝搬ロスレ ベルが大きい場合には、伝搬遅延時間を推定することができないため、基地局から の距離が遠いものと仮定し、循環シフト量を多く設けるようにしている。
[0025] 次に、図 5に示した Signatureテーブルから Signature選択部 104力 ^Signatureを選択 する方法について説明する。例えば、 Signature選択部 104が伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102から伝搬ロスレベル小を示す判定結果を取得した場合、 Signature選択部 104は 、プリアンブル検出窓小に対応する Signature#l〜#3の中力、らランダムに選択し、選択 した Signature番号が示す Signatureパターン(CS-CAZAC系歹 IJ)を取得する。逆に、 Si gnature選択部 104が伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102から伝搬ロスレベル大を示す判定 結果を取得した場合、 Signature選択部 104は、プリアンブル検出窓大に対応する Sig nature#7〜#10の中からランダムに選択し、選択した Signature番号が示す Signatureパ ターン(CS-CAZAC系歹 IJ)を取得する。
[0026] 図 7は、本発明の実施の形態 1に係る受信装置 150の構成を示すブロック図である 。この図において、無線受信部 152は、アンテナ 151を介して受信した信号にダウン コンバート、 A/D変換などの所定の無線受信処理を施し、無線受信処理を施した 信号を遅延プロファイル作成部 154—;!〜 154— Nに出力する。 [0027] Signatureテーブル記憶部 153は、予め送受信間で定めて記憶した Signatureパター ンと、対応するプリアンブル検出窓とを遅延プロファイル作成部 154— ;!〜 154— N に E¾疋 ' o。
[0028] 遅延プロファイル作成部 154—;!〜 154— Nは、無線受信部 152から出力された受 信信号と Signatureテーブル記憶部 153によって設定された Signatureパターンとの相 関値を受信タイミング毎に算出し、遅延プロファイルを作成する。ここで、遅延プロフ アイルの作成範囲は、 Signatureテーブル記憶部 153によって設定されたプリアンプ ル検出窓の長さとする。
[0029] プリアンブル検出部 155— ;!〜 155— Nは、遅延プロファイルのプリアンブル検出 窓内の相関ピークを検索し、所定の閾値と大小比較することにより、プリアンブル検 出判定 (所望プリアンブル信号のあり/なし判定)を行う。
[0030] このように実施の形態 1によれば、伝搬ロスレベル、すなわち伝搬遅延量の大きさを 基地局からの距離に応じたレベル毎に分け、各レベルに応じた長さのプリアンブル 検出窓を対応付ける。そして、 Signaturetoに対応する検出窓幅に相当する循環シフ ト量で Signaturedのパターンを循環シフトして Signature#n+1が生成された複数の Sign atureを含むテーブルから、測定した伝搬ロスレベルに応じた Signatureを選択して RA CHに用いる。これにより、 1つの CAZAC系列から生成できる CS-CAZAC数が増加す る。よって、異なる CAZAC系列の多重数を抑制することができるので、コード間干渉 を抑えることができ、プリアンブル検出性能を向上させることができる。
[0031] なお、 Signatureパターンのプリアンブル検出窓は以下のように並べるのがより好まし い。すなわち、図 8に示すように、 Signature#l〜#3に対してプリアンブル検出窓を大、 中、小の順になるように並べると、小、中、大の順よりも衝突検出性能が向上する。
[0032] ここで、伝搬ロス小(プリアンブル検出窓小)の移動機からの受信プリアンブル信号 の遅延時間がその検出窓を超えて、他の遅延プロファイルのプリアンブル検出窓内 に現れてしまう(衝突する)場合、その衝突が検出しやすくなる。衝突検出は、例えば 、遅延プロファイルの相関ピークの delay差とある所定閾値とを比較することにより行う 。つまり、 delay差が大きければ、他の移動機からの信号と見なすことができ、衝突を 検出できる。 [0033] 受信側では、遅延プロファイルの相関ピークの delayタイミングをもとに、送信タイミ ング制御を行う。もし、衝突が生じ、それを検出できない場合、他の移動機からの信 号をもとに送信タイミング制御を行うと正しく送信タイミング制御を行えず、その後のデ ータチャネルが他の移動機への干渉となってしまう。衝突が検出できれば、プリアン ブル検出 NGを移動機へ返すことにより、前述した干渉の発生を防止することができ

LTEでは、上りの送信タイミングの同期が取れている状態で移動機から送信するラ ンダムアクセス(Sync-RA)が検討されている。 Sync-RAでは、上り同期が確立してい るため、基地局からの距離及び伝搬ロスレベルによらず、受信信号のタイミング誤差 が小さい。よって、本発明の実施の形態 2では、 Sync-RAの場合は、伝搬ロスレベル によらず、伝搬ロスレベル小に相当する(循環シフト量が小さレ、) Signatureを選択する
[0037] 図 11は、本発明の実施の形態 2に係る送信装置 300の構成を示すブロック図であ る。図 11が図 4と異なる点は、 Sync-RA判定部 301と、 SW制御部 302とを追加した 点である。
[0038] 図 11において、 Sync-RA判定部 301は、基地局によって送信タイミングが制御され ているか否力、(同期が確立しているか否力、)に基づいて、送信するランダムアクセスが Sync-RAであるかどうかを判定し、判定結果を SW制御部 302に出力する。
[0039] SW制御部 302は、 Sync-RA判定部 301から出力された判定結果が Sync-RAであ れば、伝搬ロスレベルを測定せずに、伝搬ロスレベル小を固定的に Signature選択部 104に出力する。また、 Sync-RA判定部 301から出力された判定結果が Sync-RAで なければ、伝搬ロスレベル判定部 102から出力された測定結果を Signature選択部 1 04に出力する。これにより、 Sync-RAの場合、 Signature選択部 104は、図 12に示す ように、プリアンブル検出窓の短い Signatureを選択することになる。
[0040] このように実施の形態 2によれば、 Sync-RAの場合はプリアンブル検出窓幅が短い S ignatureパターンを必ず使用する。よって、異なる CAZAC系列の多重数を抑制するこ とができるので、コード間干渉を抑えることができ、プリアンブル検出性能を向上させ ること力 Sでさる。
[0041] なお、上記各実施の形態で説明した送信装置は、移動通信システムにおける移動 機に搭載することが好ましい。
[0042] また、上記各実施の形態における伝搬ロスレベルの閾値判定に用いる閾値は、固 定値でなくてもよい。すなわち、基地局が閾値を制御し、制御した閾値を BCH (報知 チャネル)によって基地局固有情報として自セル内の移動機にシグナリングし、移動 機は基地局から報知された閾値を用いるようにしてもよい。これにより、各伝搬ロスレ ベルの移動機数を制御し、それらの移動機から送信された RACHの衝突確率を低 減すること力 Sでさる。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 下り回線信号に基づいて、伝搬遅延量を推定する推定手段と、
通信相手側においてランダムアクセスチャネルのプリアンブルを検出する検出窓の 幅を伝搬遅延量に応じて予め対応させ、前記検出窓において各ランダムアクセスチ ャネルに含む Signatureが重ならないように、 Signatureに用いるコード系列を循環シフ トさせる循環シフト量を前記検出窓幅に対応させ、推定された前記伝搬遅延量に応 じた循環シフト量を用いて生成される Signatureを選択する選択手段と、
選択された前記 Signatureを含めてランダムアクセスチャネル信号を生成する生成 手段と、
生成された前記ランダムアクセスチャネル信号を送信する送信手段と、
を具備する無線送信装置。
[2] 前記選択手段は、 Signature番号 nの Signatureと、前記 Signature番号 nの Signature パターンを当該 Signatureに対応するプリアンブル検出窓分循環シフトして生成される
Signature番号 n+ 1の Signatureとから選択する請求項 1に記載の無線送信装置。
[3] 前記推定手段は、下り回線信号である共通パイロットチャネル信号の送信電力及 び受信電力から伝搬ロスレベルを測定し、測定した伝搬ロスレベルに基づいて、伝 搬遅延量を推定する請求項 1に記載の無線送信装置。
[4] 前記推定手段は、測定した伝搬ロスレベルと所定の閾値との閾値判定を行い、測 定した伝搬ロスレベルを所定のレベル毎にレベル分けする請求項 3に記載の無線送 信装置。
[5] 前記推定手段は、無線通信基地局装置によって制御された閾値を取得し、取得し た閾値を用いて閾値判定を行う請求項 4に記載の無線送信装置。
[6] 通信相手との同期が確立しているか否かに基づいて、送信するランダムアクセスが Sync-RAであるか否かを判定する判定手段と、
前記選択手段は、判定結果が Sync-RAである場合、最も短い検出窓幅に対応する 循環シフト量を用いて生成される Signatureを選択し、判定結果が Sync-RA以外であ る場合、推定された前記伝搬遅延量に応じた循環シフト量を用いて生成される Signat ureを選択する請求項 1に記載の無線送信装置。
[7] 前記コード系列は、 CAZAC (Constant Amplitude Zero Auto-Correlation)系列であ る請求項 1に記載の無線送信装置。
[8] 前記コード系列は、 GCL (Generalized Chirp Like)系列である請求項 1に記載の無 線送信装置。
[9] 前記コード系列は、 Zadoff-Chu系列である請求項 1に記載の無線送信装置。
[10] 下り回線信号に基づいて、伝搬遅延量を推定する推定工程と、
通信相手側においてランダムアクセスチャネルのプリアンブルを検出する検出窓の 幅を伝搬遅延量に応じて予め対応させ、前記検出窓において各ランダムアクセスチ ャネルに含む Signatureが重ならないように、 Signatureに用いるコード系列を循環シフ トさせる循環シフト量を前記検出窓幅に対応させ、推定された前記伝搬遅延量に応 じた循環シフト量を用いて生成される Signatureを選択する選択工程と、
選択された前記 Signatureを含めてランダムアクセスチャネル信号を生成する生成 工程と、
生成された前記ランダムアクセスチャネル信号を送信する送信工程と、 を具備する無線送信方法。
