Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Backofen mit - einem Ofengehäuse, - einer Ofentür (2), die an einer Seite gelenkig mit dem Ofengehäuse verbunden ist, und - miteinander zusammenwirkenden Dichtelementen (26, 27, 31, 32) an der Tür (2) und im Bereich der Türöffnung des Ofengehäuses, wobei die Dichtelemente mindestens eine flexible Dichtung (26, 27, 31, 32) und eine Dichtungs-Anlagefläche umfassen und wobei die in der Nähe des oberen Türrands und die in der Nähe des unteren Türrands angeordneten Dichtelemente (31, 32) unterschiedlich ausgebildet sind. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die Montierbarkeit der Tür alternativ mit Rechtsanschlag und Linksanschlag zu verbessern. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass die an der Tür (2) in der Nähe des oberen und des unteren Türrands angeordneten Dichtelemente lösbar (31, 32) und miteinander austauschbar an der Tür (2) befestigt sind.
