Abstract

 TiO2とAl2O3とのモル比が45:55~55:45の範囲となるよう調製したTiO2源粉末及びAl2O3源粉末と、焼成助剤及び/又は成形助剤とを混合及び混練してなる可塑性坏土を、押出成形後、乾燥及び焼成するチタン酸アルミニウム質セラミックハニカム構造体の製造方法であって、前記TiO2源粉末は、0.2~4μmの粒径範囲における頻度の最大値及び10~100μmの粒径範囲における頻度の最大値が、共に前記2つの粒径範囲以外における頻度の最大値より大きい粒度分布([log(粒径)]に対する質量基準の頻度分布)を有することを特徴とするチタン酸アルミニウム質セラミックハニカム構造体の製造方法。
