Abstract

 本発明の鉛蓄電池10は、正極板30と電解液とを有し、正極板30は、表面に二酸化錫層が形成された正極基板33を備える。本発明の鉛蓄電池10において、電解液は、満充電状態での20°Cにおける比重が1.250~1.500の範囲であるから、正極集電体31近傍の電位が高率放電時に一時的に著しく低下するのを防止することができ、基板33表面の二酸化錫層の溶解や正極板30の劣化が防止されるので、長寿命の鉛蓄電池10を提供することができる。
