Abstract

 第1の通信インタフェース(11)は、LAN(3)に接続される。プロセッサ(12)は、第1の通信インタフェース(11)のリンクが検出されないとき、またはデータ転送が検出されないときに電源制御部(15)を制御して、RAM(13)、フラッシュメモリ(14)および第2の通信インタフェース(16)への電力供給を停止させる。そして、プロセッサ(12)は省電力モードに移行する。したがって、消費電力を大幅に削減することが可能となる。
