Abstract

 本発明のスルホン酸基含有炭素質材料の製造方法は、レゾルシノールに由来する構成単位を有する重合体について、不活性ガス雰囲気下の加熱による炭化処理およびスルホン化処理を行い、スルホン酸基含有炭素質材料を得る工程を備える。 得られるスルホン酸基含有炭素質材料を含有する触媒は、アルキル化反応やオレフィンの重合反応などの疎水性の媒体中での各種反応において、高い効率で目的物の製造を行う上で有用である。
