Abstract

　イーサネットのブロードキャストフレーム、もしくは、マルチキャストフレームを用いて、ネットワーク内の情報機器のＭＡＣアドレスを収集する。ＭＡＣアドレスの重複を検出した場合、情報機器の固有情報と、設定したいＭＡＣアドレスを含んだイーサネットフレームをブロードキャスト、もしくは、マルチキャストで発信する。上記イーサネットフレームを受信した情報機器は、上記の固有情報と自分自身の固有情報とを比較し、一致した場合、指定されたＭＡＣアドレスに変更する。このようにＭＡＣアドレスの重複を解消することで、正常にイーサネット通信を行えるようにする。
