Abstract
これまで以上に耐久性の向上を図った空気入りタイヤを提供する。
少なくとも一対のビードコア間に跨ってトロイド状に延在する少なくとも一層のカーカス1を骨格とし、その外周に、複数本のコードまたはフィラメントを補強要素とする2~4層のベルト2を有する空気入りタイヤである。ベルト2のうち1層または2層を、ゴム-スチールコード複合体を全体としてタイヤ周方向に沿って配向させてなるストリップより形成されたクラウン強化層3とし、クラウン強化層3が、タイヤ幅方向の両外側に位置する一対の外側ストリップ3aと、その間に位置する中側ストリップ3bとに3分割され、外側ストリップのスチールコードの破断伸度(Eo)と中側ストリップのスチールコードの破断伸度(Ei)とが次式、Eo>Eiで表される関係を満足し、かつ、外側ストリップのスチールコードが真直である。
