Abstract

　本発明は、微生物の発酵培養により培養液中に生産された乳酸を分離することによる乳酸の製造方法であって、該培養液をナノ濾過膜に通じて濾過する工程Ａおよび工程Ａで得られた乳酸含有溶液を１Ｐａ以上大気圧下の圧力下において２５°C以上２００°C以下で蒸留して乳酸を回収する工程Ｂを含む、乳酸の製造方法であり、本発明によって、発酵培養液中に溶解し又は難溶性固体として含まれる無機塩を簡単な操作により効果的に除去され、また、製造工程中の乳酸のラセミ化やオリゴマー化が抑制されるため、乳酸を高い収率で得るための製造方法が提供される。
