Abstract

　本発明の目的は、従来とは異なる脂肪酸組成である脂肪酸組成物の提供である。 　上記課題は、本発明の配列番号１の塩基配列又は配列番号２に示されるアミノ酸配列のタンパク質をコードする塩基配列を含む核酸、あるいはこれらと同等の機能を有する変異体を含有する組換えベクターによって形質転換された宿主を培養して得られる脂肪酸組成物であって、前記脂肪酸組成物の脂肪酸組成において、以下のi)～ｖ) i)　オレイン酸含有量 ii)　パルミチン酸含有量に対するオレイン酸含有量の比率、並びに iii)　パルミチン酸含有量に対する、ステアリン酸及びオレイン酸の合計含有量の比率 iv）　パルミチン酸含有量及びパルミトレイン酸の合計含有量に対する、ステアリン酸及びオレイン酸の合計含有量の比率 ｖ)　ｎ－６系脂肪酸含有量 のうちの少なくとも一つ以上が、前記組換えベクターで形質転換されていない宿主を培養して得られる培養物より高いことを特徴とする、前記脂肪酸組成物により解決される。
