Abstract

 画像が合成された場合、色が表示上変化するのを防ぐことができる画像処理装置を提供する。一実施形態に係る画像処理装置は、複数の画像信号を合成し、合成画像信号を生成するビデオ・グラフィック・プロセッサ12と、合成画像信号を伝送する場合、合成画像信号の色空間規格として第1の色空間規格又は第1の色空間規格で規定される色域よりも広い色域の第2の色空間規格のいずれかの識別フラグを伝送するHDMITx14とを備え、ホストCPU13は、色の表示上の変化を防ぐように第1又は第2の色空間規格を決定する。
