Abstract

 本発明は、耐光性に優れた有機EL装置およびその製造方法を得ることを課題とするものである。支持基板である第1基板と、前記第1基板上に設けられた第1電極と、前記第1電極上に設けられ少なくとも有機発光層を含む有機層と、前記有機層上に設けられた第2電極と、前記第2電極上を含む前記第1基板を覆って設けられ、少なくとも前記有機層上の領域に紫外線を吸収する紫外線吸収剤を含有する樹脂層と、前記樹脂層上に配置されて前記有機層を外気から遮断する第2基板と、を備える有機EL装置とする。
