Abstract

本発明は、脂肪酸及び/又は脂肪酸塩、グリセリド、脂肪酸エステル等を含むグリセリン混合物からアクロレインを少ないエネルギー消費量で製造できるアクロレインおよびアクリル酸の製造方法を提供することを目的とする。本発明のアクロレインの製造方法は、グリセリン混合物中のグリセリンを脱水反応させて、アクロレインと脂肪酸及び/又は脂肪酸塩等を含むアクロレイン混合物を得る工程と、該アクロレイン混合物からアクロレインを回収する工程とを有する。本発明のアクリル酸の製造方法は、上述したアクロレインの製造方法により得たアクロレインと、分子状酸素とを反応させる。
