Abstract

 画像処理装置は、超音波Bモード画像列を取得して、既にモデル化されたフレームの次のフレームに描画される頸動脈の長軸断面形状のモデルの評価関数を生成し、評価関数の最適化を行う。画像処理装置は、最適化の結果に基づいて次のフレームについての頸動脈の長軸断面形状の位置及び形状を推定してモデル化し、以後に続くフレームに対して同様に行う。画像処理装置は、モデル化した結果に基づいて心拍動に伴う頸動脈直径の変動を出力する。
