Abstract
リチウムイオン二次電池(10)は、アルミニウム製のケース(50)と、電解液(52)と、正極板(60)と、負極板(62)と、正極端子(70)と、負極端子(72)と、電圧センサ(80,82)とを含む。正極端子(70)および負極端子(72)は、ケース(50)とは絶縁された状態でケース(50)の外部に突出する。電圧センサ(80)は、ケース(50)と正極端子(70)との間に接続され、ケース(50)が有する電位VRに対する正極端子(70)の電位を検出する。電圧センサ(82)は、ケース(50)と負極端子(72)との間に接続され、ケース(50)が有する電位VRに対する負極端子(72)の電位を検出する。検出された結果に基づいて、正極板(60)および負極板(62)の状態を、それぞれ区別して検出する。
