Abstract

 PMIPドメインを移動する移動端末が、様々なタイプのプレフィックスを受信して、構成するアドレスのタイプを選択し、PMIPドメインに対してシグナリングの負荷をかけずに経路最適化が行われるようにする技術が開示される。その技術ではMN310は、ホームドメインに接続する際に複数のプレフィックスを要求する。MAG320は、AAAサーバ340にMNを認証させ、AAAサーバから複数のプレフィックスの通知指示を受信すると、例えばRAメッセージ364によって複数のプレフィックスを通知する。MNは、通知された複数のプレフィックスから複数のアドレス(例えば、PMIPドメインプレフィックスを含むPMIPアドレスや、オンリンクプレフィックスを含むグローバルアドレス)を構成して、MAGに通知する。MAGは、LMA330に対して、これら複数のアドレスに係る複数のバインディングの登録を行う。
