Abstract

　本発明は、商品マスタに登録されていない商品についても、店舗における作業が行えるようにすることを目的とする。そして、当該目的を達成するために、ＥＳＬサーバ（１０）に、商品マスタ（１４０）およびリンクファイル（１４１）を記憶するハードディスク（１４）と、バーコードリーダ（１７）と、リンク部（１１０）とを設ける。商品と電子棚札との対応付け処理を行うときは、オペレータがバーコードリーダ（１７）に商品の商品コードを表現したバーコードと当該商品の近傍に配置される電子棚札の装置コードを表現したバーコードとを読み取らせる。このとき、読み取られた商品コードが示す商品が商品マスタ（１４０）に登録されているか否かにかかわらず、リンク部（１１０）は、取得された商品指定情報（１３０）と装置指定情報（１３１）とを対応付けてリンクファイル（１４１）に格納する。
