Abstract

【課題】排気ガスとエンジン冷却水通路の隔壁の間に部材を介在させず、排気ガスをエンジン冷却水通路の隔壁に直接、衝突させることで、熱交換部のガス流速を高めて、排熱回収率のさらなる向上を可能とする構成を提供する。 【解決手段】エンジン排気ガスとエンジン冷却水との間で熱交換を行うことによってエンジン排気ガスからの熱回収を行うエンジン排気ガス熱回収器1において、排気ガス流入管2の外管22に冷却水通路3の内筒管31に向けた噴孔20を複数設け、排気ガスを冷却水通路3の内筒管31に直接、衝突させるものである。各噴孔20から冷却水通路3の内筒管31までの最短距離が噴孔径の1.5~7倍の範囲であるものである。各噴孔20の開口面積の総和と排気ガス流量の関係が、(総噴孔面積/排気ガス質量流量)=2.0~4.5(cm2/(kg/min)であるものである。
