Abstract

L'invention porte sur un moteur à combustion interne (1), comprenant : une culasse (7); un cylindre délimité axialement par la culasse (7); un premier piston (3) guidé en coulissement axial dans le cylindre et solidaire d'un mécanisme de transmission; un deuxième piston (4) guidé en coulissement axial et disposé entre le premier piston (3) et la culasse (7); des moyens pour introduire de façon contrôlée un fluide entre les deux pistons (3, 4), de façon à séparer les deux pistons par une chambre de contrôle (22) ayant un volume variable.
