Abstract
複数のアンテナ11-1~11-Mを有し、アンテナ11-1~11-Mの受信信号をダイバーシティ合成する無線通信装置において、アンテナ11-1~11-Mの受信電力を第1のアルゴリズムに従って合成する第1合成部(23,24)と、アンテナ11-1~11-Mの受信電力を第1のアルゴリズムとは異なる第2のアルゴリズムに従って合成する第2合成部(21-1~21-M,22,23)と、受信信号から遅延波の有無を判定する判定部15と、判定部15による判定結果に応じて、第1合成部(23,24)または第2合成部(21-1~21-M,22,23)の一方を選択して、アンテナ11-1~11-Mの受信電力を合成するように制御する制御部16と、を備える。これにより、受信アンテナが少なくても、マルチパスフェージングの影響を低減して、常に安定した受信状態を確保する。
