Abstract

金属粉末焼結部品の製造装置(1)は、金属粉末(11)を供給して粉末層(12)を形成する粉末層形成部(2)と、粉末層(12)の所定の箇所に光ビーム(L)を照射して粉末層(12)を焼結させ焼結層(13)を形成する光ビーム照射部(3)と、焼結層(13)が積層一体化された造形物(14)を切削する切削部(4)と、を備えている。光ビーム照射部(3)は、走査ヘッド(37)を光ビームの照射平面に平行でX方向に移動させる走査ヘッドX軸(37x)と、Y方向に移動させる走査ヘッドY軸(37y)とを有しており、走査ヘッド(37)は照射平面に対して平行な方向に移動して、光ビーム(L)を照射する。走査ヘッド(37)が照射平面に対して平行に移動するので照射面積を広くすることができ、照射高さが低くてよいので、光ビーム(L)の走査精度が良い。
