Abstract

　このインサート着脱式切削工具（７０）のヘッド部材（３０）では、ヘッド部材本体（３１）の上顎部の押圧面と下顎部（３３）の台座面とにより形成したインサート取付座の後端からさらに後端側に向けてスリット（３８）を延設する。そして、上顎部に係合するクランプネジを、スリット（３８）の延設方向に沿って、かつ押圧面と台座面とが対向する方向に延びる仮想平面（Ｐ）に対し、下顎部（３３）側に向かうに従い離間する方向に傾斜してねじ込むことにより、上顎部をスリット（３８）の後壁面（３８Ｂ）とヘッド部材本体（３１）の後端面（３１Ｆ）との間の接続部（３９）を支点として弾性変形可能とする。また、接続部（３９）を、延設方向の幅がクランプネジの仮想平面（Ｐ）に対する離間方向に向かうに従い漸次幅広となるように形成する。このヘッド部材（３０）によれば、大きなクランプ力を作用させつつ押圧面が形成された顎部を台座面に対して真っ直ぐ弾性変形させて、切削インサート（５０）を安定的にクランプすることができる。
