Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Feststellen des Druckes und der Profiltiefe bei einem pneumatischen Fahrzeugreifen, der an einem Fahrzeug angebracht ist, wobei der Druck mit Hilfe einer Anordnung aus Lastsensoren, die Kraftsignale für ein zweidimensionales Muster der Kraftverteilung liefert, die von dem Fahrzeugreifen in Kontakt mit den Sensoren ausgeübt wird, wenn sich das Fahrzeug über die Anordnung bewegt, ermittelt wird, wobei der Reifendruck aus der Kraftverteilung unabhängig von der Herstellungsart oder dem Modell des Reifens und des Fahrzeugs bestimmt wird, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vor, während oder nach der Bestimmung des Druckes die Profiltiefe des Reifens bestimmt wird.
