Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftwerk zur Erzeugung elektrischer Energie mit einer Verbrennungskammer (1) zur Erzeugung vom Dampf, wenigstens einer nachgeschalteten Rauchgasreinigungsstufe (2), einer Abtrennung für CO2 (3), einer Kreislaufführung für das Rauchgas sowie einer Hochtemperatur-O2-Membran (5), die der Verbrennungskammer vorgeschaltet ist. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Hochtemperatur-O2-Membran feedseitig eine Zuführung und eine Abführung auf, die über einen Wärmetauscher (6) thermisch gekoppelt sind. Ferner weist die Hochtemperatur-O2-Membran permeatseitig nur eine Abführung mit Verbindung zur Verbrennungskammer und/oder der Rauchgaskreislaufführung auf, und in dieser Abführung ist ein Mittel zur Abkühlung und/oder Verdichtung (8) angeordnet. Das Kraftwerk, in dem Kohle mit Hilfe von nahezu reinem Sauerstoff verbrannt wird, das Verbrennungsabgas gereinigt und zum Teil wieder der Verbrennung zugeführt wird, wird erfindungsgemäß derart betrieben, dass der eingesetzte Sauerstoff durch Abtrennung aus Luft mit Hilfe einer Hochtemperatur-O2-Membran erhalten wird, und permeatseitig ein Unterdruck von 0,02 bis 0,5 bar angelegt wird.
