Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de gaz combustible ayant un pouvoir calorifique inférieur d'au moins 1 MJ/Nm3, comprenant la réaction d'un gaz oxydant comprenant de la vapeur d'eau ou de l'oxygène ou du C02 avec une matière organique (33) en contact avec un bain de silicate fondu (32) contenu dans une cuve et comprenant un apport calorifique (38) dans le silicate fondu, ledit procédé fonctionnant en continu, du silicate étant régulièrement évacué (37) de la cuve et des matières vitrifiables étant régulièrement introduites pour alimenter le bain de silicate. L'apport calorifique est de préférence du type combustion immergée.
