Abstract

L'invention porte sur un cotyle prothétique (10), qui comprend : i) une surface d'articulation interne (14) ayant un axe polaire (26), une surface externe arquée (12), un rebord annulaire (16) entre celles-ci, et au moins un passage allongé (22) qui s'étend à partir du rebord (16) vers la surface externe (12). Une étendue longitudinale dudit ou desdits passages (22) s'étend dans une direction qui est non parallèle à l'axe polaire (26) ; ii) une surface d'articulation interne (14), une surface externe arquée (12), un rebord annulaire (16) entre elles, et au moins un passage allongé (22) qui s'étend à partir du rebord (16) vers la surface externe (12). Ledit ou lesdits passages (22) définissent au moins en partie une fente (29) dans la surface externe (12).
