Abstract

La présente invention concerne essentiellement un milieu de culture spécifique pour la croissance, la détection, l'identification et/ou le dénombrement des bactéries Staphylococcus aureus, ledit milieu étant caractérisé par le fait qu'il comporte au moins un substrat fluorogène, chromogène ou luminescent de phospholipase C. Un tel milieu permet la différenciation entre les Staphylococcus aureus et les Staphylocoques à coagulase négative.
