Abstract

 べたつきがなく、保湿効果が長時間に渡って持続するのみならず、塗布後のツヤ実感に優れた乳化化粧料を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、(A)板状粉末を0.1~15質量%、(B)IOBが0.1~0.5である油分を0.1~30質量%、(C)寒天粉砕ゲルを0.01~5質量%、及び(D)保湿剤を1~20質量%含有することを特徴とする乳化化粧料を提供する。前記板状粉末は、1~20μmの平均粒径を有するものであるのが好ましく、前記寒天粉砕ゲルは、寒天を水又は水性溶媒に溶解した後、放置冷却して固化させて形成したゲルを粉砕して得られるものである。

Description

乳化化粧料
 本発明は、保湿効果を有するスキンケア化粧料に関する。より詳細には、特定のIOBを持つ油分、寒天粉砕ゲル、板状粉末及び保湿剤を含有することにより、べたつきがなく、保湿効果が長時間維持されるとともに、優れたツヤ実感が得られる乳化化粧料に関する。
 皮膚角質層の水分量は、皮膚の健康維持や外界からの様々な刺激からの防御機能に密接に関係し、皮膚の老化防止、うるおい、滑らかさの維持などに大きな役割を果たしている(非特許文献1)。この角質層の水分は、通常、天然保湿因子(NMF)と皮脂膜によってコントロールされているが、老化や外界からの刺激によって容易にその機能が低下することから、保湿化粧料によって保湿成分を補い皮膚の水分を正常に調節することが重要である。
 従来から用いられている保湿化粧料の多くには、プロピレングリコール、1,3ブチレングリコール、グリセリン等の水溶性多価アルコールが保湿剤として配合されている。しかしながら、これらの水溶性多価アルコールを配合した保湿化粧料は、保湿効果は発揮するもののベタツキのある重い感触であり、これら汎用の水溶性多価アルコールを配合した保湿化粧料においては、保湿効果の持続性が弱いという欠点があった(特許文献1、段落0002参照)。
 特許文献1には、特定構造を有するポリグリセリンのポリエーテル付加物を保湿剤として単独又は従来の保湿剤と併用して添加することにより、べたつきがなく、保湿効果が持続するとの記載がある。
 また、特許文献2には、増粘剤としてクインスシード抽出物を用いることにより、保湿効果を高めるために保湿剤を高配合してもべたつかず、さっぱりした感触となる皮膚外用剤が記載されている。
 特許文献3には、保湿剤及び水溶性高分子(増粘剤)に加えてシリコーン球状粉末分散液を配合することにより、みずみすしくさっぱりした感触で塗布操作性にも優れた水系ゲル状組成物が記載されている。
 上記のように、多価アルコール等の保湿剤によって生ずるべたつきに関しては、それを抑制して使用感触を向上させる様々な試みがなされ、或る程度の効果を上げている。しかしながら、特に、保湿剤を含有する従来の水中油型乳化物においては、塗布した場合に得られるツヤ実感が弱いという問題点があり、この点を解決した従来技術はない。

 よって本発明における課題は、べたつきがなく、保湿効果が長時間に渡って持続するのみならず、塗布後のツヤ実感に優れた乳化化粧料を提供することにある。
 本発明者等は、前記の課題を解決すべく鋭意研究を重ねた結果、板状粉末とIOBが0.1~0.5である特定の油分と寒天粉砕ゲルとを保湿剤と組み合わせて配合することにより保湿効果(しっとり感)を長時間維持することができ、べたつきがなく、なおかつツヤ実感を向上できることを見出し、本発明を完成した。
 即ち本発明は、
(A)板状粉末を0.1~15質量%、
(B)IOBが0.1~0.5である油分を0.1~30質量%、
(C)寒天粉砕ゲルを0.01~5質量%、及び
(D)保湿剤を1~20質量%含有することを特徴とする乳化化粧料を提供する。
 本発明の乳化化粧料は、多価アルコール等の保湿成分による保湿効果(しっとり感)が長時間に渡って維持でき、べたつきがなく、なおかつ塗布後のツヤ実感に優れている。
 本発明の乳化化粧料における板状粉末(成分A)は、化粧料に通常使用されている板状(薄片状)粉末であれば特に限られない。板状粉末は、メイクアップ化粧料には従来から広く用いられているが、本発明のようなスキンケア化粧料に配合されることは極めて希である。板状粉末とはアスペクト比(平均粒径/平均厚み)が1より大きい、例えば少なくとも5以上であることで球状粉末とは区別される。本発明における板状粉末は、板状(薄片状)であればアスペクト比は特に限定されないが、その平均粒径が1~20μmである板状粉末が好ましく用いられる。
 具体的には、マイカ、セリサイト、タルク、カオリン、アルミナ、硫酸バリウム、窒化ホウ素、N-アシル化リジン、合成金雲母、合成マイカ、合成タルク、酸化亜鉛、シリカ、魚鱗箔、オキシ塩化ビスマス等からなる板状粉末が挙げられ、これらの1種又は2種以上が選択して用いられる。本発明における板状粉末は、表面処理されているものでも表面処理がされていないものでもよい。
 本発明のおける板状粉末(成分A)の配合量は、0.1~15質量%、好ましくは0.1~10質量%より好ましくは0.1~5質量%である。配合量が0.1質量%未満であるとツヤ実感の向上が十分でなくなる場合があり、15質量%を越えて配合すると粉末によるかさつきを感じるようになる場合がある。
 本発明の乳化化粧料におけるIOBが0.1~0.5である油分(成分B)は、有機概念図におけるIOBが0.1~0.5の油分である。有機概念図とは、藤田穆により提案された有機化合物の極性/非極性を表す概念であり、その詳細は、例えば、"Pharmaceutical Bulletin", vol.2, 2, pp.163-173(1954)、「化学の領域」vol.11, 10, pp.719-725(1957)、「フレグランスジャーナル」, vol.50, pp.79-82(1981)等で説明されている。簡潔に言えば、全ての有機化合物の根源をメタン(CH4)とし、他の化合物はすべてメタンの誘導体とみなして、その炭素数、置換基、変態部、環等にそれぞれ一定の数値を設定し、そのスコアを加算して有機性値(OV)、無機性値(IV)を求め、この値を有機性値をX軸、無機性値をY軸にとった図上にプロットしていくものである。有機概念図におけるIOBとは、有機概念図における有機性値(OV)に対する無機性値(IV)の比、すなわち「無機性値(IV)/有機性値(OV)」をいう。有機概念図の詳細については、「新版 有機概念図-基礎と応用-」(甲田善生等著、三共出版、2008)を参照されたい。
 本発明において、配合する油分のIOBが0.1未満では十分な保湿効果が得られず、IOBが0.6を越える油分では水溶性が高すぎて溶解してしまい、油分としての機能を発揮し難い。
 本発明で用いられるIOBが0.1~0.5の油分の具体例としては、パルミチン酸オクチル(IOB=0.13)、2-エチルヘキサン酸セチル(IOB=0.13)、オクタン酸セチル(IOB=0.13)、トリイソステアリン酸トリメチロールプロパン(IOB=0.14)、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル(IOB=0.18)、トリイソステアリン酸グリセリル(IOB=0.18)、トリイソステアリン酸トリメチロールプロパン(IOB=0.20)、イソノナン酸イソノニル(IOB=0.20)、イソデシルベンゾエート(IOB=0.23)、イソデシルベンゾエート(IOB=0.23)、ジカプリル酸ネオペンチルグリコール(IOB=0.25)、ジカプリン酸ネオペンチルグリコール(IOB=0.25)、リンゴ酸ジイソステアリル(IOB=0.27)、ジイソステアリン酸グリセリル(IOB=0.29)、トリエチルヘキサン酸トリメチロールプロパン(IOB=0.31)、トリオクタン酸トリメチロールプロパン(IOB=0.31)、ジカプリル酸プロピレングリコール(IOB=0.32)、コハク酸ジ2-エチルヘキシル(IOB=0.32)、テトラ(ベヘン酸/安息香酸/エチルヘキサン酸)ペンタエリスリット(IOB=0.35)、トリオクタノイン(IOB=0.35)、テトラエチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリチル(IOB=0.35)、テトラオクタン酸ペンタエリスリット(IOB=0.35)、テトラ2-エチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリット(IOB=0.35)、トリ2-エチルヘキサン酸グリセリル(IOB=0.36)、セバシン酸ジイソプロピル(IOB=0.40)、等のエステル油;オリーブ油(IOB=0.16)、ヒマシ油(IOB=0.42)、マカダミアナッツ油(IOB=0.17)等の植物系油;イソステアリン酸(IOB=0.43)、オレイン酸(IOB=0.42)等の脂肪酸;デシルテトラデカノール(IOB=0.21)、オレイルアルコール(IOB=0.28)等の高級アルコール等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものでない。
 本発明におけるIOBが0.1~0.5である油分(成分B)の配合量は、0.1~30質量%、好ましくは0.1~20質量%、より好ましくは0.1~10質量%である。配合量が0.1質量%未満であると保湿効果が十分でなく、粉末配合によるかさつきを生ずる場合があり、30質量%を越えて配合すると、べたつきなどの使用感触が悪くなる場合がある。
 本発明の乳化化粧料における寒天粉末ゲル(成分C)は、寒天を水又は水性溶媒に溶解した後、放置冷却して固化させて形成したゲルを粉砕して得られるものである。このようにして製造される寒天粉砕ゲルは、各種製剤に配合してもべたつき感、きしみ感がなく、他の薬剤成分や塩類を高配合しても粘度低下をきたすことなく、長期にわたって安定な増粘剤として知られている(例えば、特開2001-342451号公報参照)。
 本発明における寒天粉砕ゲル(成分C)の配合量は、寒天固形分に換算して0.01~5質量%、好ましくは0.01~3質量%、より好ましくは0.01~1質量%である。配合量が0.01質量%未満であると、べたつきを抑制する効果が十分でなくなる場合があり、5質量%を越えて配合しても効果の更なる向上は得られない。
 なお、本発明の乳化化粧料においては、前記寒天粉砕ゲルを上記配合量で含有していることが必須であるが、それに加えて、従来から化粧品に使用されている増粘剤、例えばカルボキシビニルポリマーや糖類等を配合し、目的及び用途に応じた所望の粘度に調製することも可能である。
 本発明の乳化化粧料における保湿剤(成分D)は、従来から化粧品に用いられているものであれば特に限られるものではない。具体的には、グリセリン(例えば、ダイナマイトグリセリン)、プロピレングリコール、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ソルビトール等の多価アルコール、ヒアルロン酸、コンドロイチン硫酸等のムコ多糖類、アミノ酸、ピロリドンカルボン酸(PCA)、乳酸等の天然保湿因子(NMF)又はその類似物、細胞間脂質又はその類似物、植物抽出物、可溶性コラーゲン、エラスチン、ケラチン等のタンパク質分解物、キチン、キトサン、酵母抽出物、海藻エキスなどが挙げられる。
 本発明における保湿剤(成分D)の配合量は、1~20質量%、好ましくは5~20質量%である。配合量が1質量%未満であると十分な保湿効果が得られ難く、20質量%を越えて配合するとべたつき感を生ずる場合がある。
 本発明の乳化化粧料は、上記の必須成分A~Dに加えて、従来から化粧品に使用されている他の成分を、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で含有していてもよい。具体的には、界面活性剤、アルコール類、電解質、増粘剤(寒天粉砕ゲル以外)、防腐剤、粉体(板状粉末以外)、顔料、色素、紫外線吸収剤、pH調整剤、香料、薬効成分等が挙げられる。
 界面活性剤としては、限定されないが、非イオン性界面活性剤、アニオン性界面活性剤、カチオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤等が挙げられ、非イオン界面活性剤としては、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル及びそのアルキレングリコール付加物、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル及びそのアルキレングリコール付加物、プロピレングリコール脂肪酸エステル及びそのアルキレングリコール付加物、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル及びそのアルキレングリコール付加物、ソルビトールの脂肪酸エステル及びそのアルキレングリコール付加物、ポリアルキレングリコール脂肪酸エステル、蔗糖脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル、グリセリンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油、ラノリンのアルキレングリコール付加物、ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン、ポリエーテル変性シリコーン等が挙げられる。また、アニオン界面活性剤としては、ステアリン酸、ラウリン酸のような脂肪酸の無機及び有機塩、アルキルベンゼン硫酸塩、アルキルスルホン酸塩、α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩、ジアルキルスルホコハク酸塩、α-スルホン化脂肪酸塩、アシルメチルタウリン塩、N-メチル-N-アルキルタウリン塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル硫酸塩、アルキル燐酸塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル燐酸塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル燐酸塩、N-アシルアミノ酸塩、N-アシル-N-アルキルアミノ酸塩、o-アルキル置換リンゴ酸塩、アルキルスルホコハク酸塩等が挙げられる。更に、カチオン界面活性剤としては、例えば、アルキルアミン塩、ポリアミン及びアルカノールアミン脂肪酸誘導体、アルキル四級アンモニウム塩、環式四級アンモニウム塩等が挙げられる。更にまた、両性界面活性剤としては、アミノ酸タイプの硫酸エステル型、スルホン酸型、リン酸エステル型、及びリン脂質等を挙げることができる。
 本発明の乳化化粧料は、乳化物の製造に従来から使用されている方法に準じて製造することができる。例えば、IOBが0.1~0.5の油分(成分B)を含む油相成分を混合し、寒天粉砕ゲル(成分C)及び保湿剤(成分D)を含む水相成分を板状粉末(成分A)とともに混合し、水相及び油相を混合してホモミキサー等で乳化することにより、本発明の乳化化粧料を得ることができる。
 本発明の乳化化粧料は、水中油型または油中水型のいずれかの乳化物の形態で提供することが可能である。
 本発明者等は、板状粉末及び寒天粉砕ゲルを配合することによって、べたつきが抑制されて保湿効果が長時間維持される一方、板状粉末配合により生じ得るかさつきはIOBが0.1~0.5の油分による保湿効果によって相殺され、板状粉末の配合により良好なツヤ実感が得られるものと考えている。本発明は、このようなメカニズムによるもの限定されるわけではないが、成分A~Dという特定の組み合わせによって初めて本発明の効果が得られるのであって、このような組み合わせを示唆した従来技術は存在しない。
 以下に具体例を挙げて本発明を更に詳細に説明するが、本発明は以下の実施例に限定されるものではない。また、以下の実施例等における配合量は特に断らない限り質量%を示す。
(試験例1~4)
 下記の表1に掲げた組成の乳化化粧料を調製した。調製した試験例1~4の乳化化粧料を専門家パネル(3名)に使用してもらい、「しっとり感」、「べたつき」、及び「ツヤ感」について、使用直後と3時間後に、以下の基準に従って評価を受けた。結果を表1に併せて示す。

(視感判定とは目視でツヤ感の有無を判定することである。)

 表1に示した結果から、板状粉末を含まない乳化化粧料(試験例1~4)においては、IOBが0.1~0.5の油分を配合することにより(試験例2~4)、当該油分を含有しない化粧料(試験例1)に比較して「しっとり感」、即ち保湿効果が向上した。この改善効果は塗布の3時間後において特に顕著であった。しかしながら、得られる「ツヤ感」は向上しなかった。
(実施例1~3及び比較例1~3)
下記の表2に掲げた組成の乳化化粧料を調製した。調製した実施例1~3及び比較例1~3の乳化化粧料を専門家パネル(3名)に使用してもらい、「しっとり感」、「べたつき」、及び「ツヤ感」について、使用直後と3時間後に、上記試験例において述べた基準に従って評価を受けた。結果を表2に併せて示す。

 表2に掲げた乳化化粧料は、全てIOBが0.1~0.5の油分を含有しているため、上記試験例1の乳化化粧料に比較して「しっとり感」が向上している。しかしながら、板状粉末ではなくデンプン又は酸化チタン(顔料)を配合した比較例1及び2では、試験例1に比較してべたつきがあり、得られるツヤ感が低下したままである。ところが、板状粉末(合成金雲母又はタルク)を配合した実施例1~3では、べたつきがなくなり、得られるツヤ感が格段に向上した。一方、板状粉末を配合しても、寒天粉砕ゲルを配合しなかった比較例3では、べたつきを生じてしまうことがわかった。

製造方法:
(1)~(4)を室温にて混合溶解した(油相)。一方、(5)を一部の水に溶解し固化させたものを粉砕処理し、(6)~(16)と室温にて混合溶解した(水相)。得られた水相に油相添加してホモミキサーで乳化し、目的のスキンエマルジョンを得た。
 本発明の乳化化粧料は、保湿剤によって生じうるべたつきが抑制され、すっきりした使用感が得られ、その保湿効果が長時間にわたって維持されるのみならず、従来の乳化化粧料では得られ難かったツヤ実感が格段に改善されている。従って、本発明の乳化化粧料は、そのまま保湿作用を有するスキンケア組成物として利用できる。さらには、前記の特性を活かし、例えばビタミンC等の有効成分を配合するスキンケア化粧料用の基剤としても利用できる。

Claims (4)

  1. (A)板状粉末を0.1~15質量%、
    (B)IOBが0.1~0.5である油分を0.1~30質量%、
    (C)寒天粉砕ゲルを0.01~5質量%、及び
    (D)保湿剤を1~20質量%含有することを特徴とする乳化化粧料。
  2.  前記板状粉末が、1~20μmの平均粒径を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の乳化化粧料。
  3.  前記寒天粉砕ゲルが、寒天を水又は水性溶媒に溶解した後、放置冷却して固化させて形成したゲルを粉砕して得られるものであることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の乳化化粧料。
  4.  水中油型乳化物であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の乳化化粧料。
