Definitions
- the present invention relates to a control device for a hybrid construction machine in which the driving force of an engine is assisted by a generator motor.
- Patent Document 1 Conventionally, as a control device for a hybrid construction machine, for example, there is one disclosed in Patent Document 1.
- a boom hydraulic cylinder that is a hydraulic actuator and a swing generator motor that is an electric actuator are operated in combination based on the operation amount of the boom operation lever and the operation amount of the swing operation lever.
- the torque limit value of the turning generator motor is reduced to match the speeds of both actuators.
- the speeds of the hydraulic actuator and the electric actuator can be matched, but when the total required power of both actuators exceeds the output power of the engine, the hydraulic actuator and the electric actuator Furthermore, when power is distributed according to the operation amount of the boom operation lever and the operation amount of the turning operation lever, the speed of the high-load hydraulic actuator is extremely reduced, and the working efficiency is lowered.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a control device for a hybrid construction machine that can suppress a reduction in work efficiency when the total required power of the hybrid construction machine becomes larger than the output power of a drive source.
- the control device for a hybrid construction machine divides the power of an engine as a part of a drive source into a hydraulic pump and a generator, and drives the electric motor for turning with the electric power generated by the generator And it is used for the hybrid construction machine which drives a hydraulic actuator with the pressure oil which the said hydraulic pump supplies.
- the turning electric motor is used, for example, to turn an upper turning body of a hybrid construction machine.
- the hydraulic actuator is used, for example, for driving a boom provided in the upper swing body.
- the output power is preferentially distributed to the hydraulic actuator.
- the output distribution to the hydraulic actuator is more than the distribution of the output power to the hydraulic actuator and the electric motor for turning based on the operation amount of the boom operation lever and the turning operation lever, Distributes power based on a value obtained by multiplying the signal from the turning lever by a ratio smaller than 1 and a signal from the boom operating lever, and sets an upper limit on the signal from the turning lever.
- a coefficient used for controlling the electric motor for turning for example, a PI constant or a PID constant is lowered.
- control device for a hybrid construction machine configured as described above, even when the hydraulic actuator is in a high load state and the required power is large, it is possible to suppress a decrease in the operating speed of the hydraulic actuator. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a decrease in work efficiency as a whole. That is, working efficiency can be improved with limited output power from the drive source.
- the engine output detecting means for calculating the output power of the engine as a part of the drive source from the rotational speed of the output shaft of the engine may be provided.
- the rotational speed of the output shaft of the engine can be calculated from, for example, a position sensor of the generator.
- the storage unit is also provided as the drive source, and storage output calculation means for calculating the output power from the charging voltage of the storage means is provided. From the engine output detection means and the storage output detection means, the hybrid construction machine The output power output from the drive source can also be calculated.
- the generated power detection means includes a flow rate sensor arranged downstream of the hydraulic pump and a pressure sensor of pressure oil arranged downstream of the hydraulic pump, and the required power of the hydraulic actuator Can also be calculated.
- the generated power detection means one that has two shaft torque sensors arranged on the output shaft of the turning electric motor and calculates the required power of the hydraulic actuator can be used.
- the generated power detection means one that calculates the required power of the hydraulic actuator based on the operation amount of the operation lever for the hydraulic actuator can be used.
- the required power of the hydraulic actuator is calculated based on the output of the pressure sensor of the pressure oil disposed on the downstream side of the hydraulic pump and the operation amount of the operation lever for the actuator. Things can also be used.
- the generated power detection means one that calculates the necessary power required by the electric motor for turning and the hydraulic actuator from the operation amount of each operation lever can be used.
- the turning range by the turning electric motor can be detected, and when the detected turning range is not more than a predetermined turning range, the signal from the operation lever can be multiplied by a ratio smaller than 1.
- a drive source for example, the engine 2 drives the generator 4 and the hydraulic pump 6. That is, the engine 2 is coupled to the input shaft of the generator 4, and the output shaft of the generator 4 is coupled to the hydraulic pump 6.
- AC power generated by the generator 4 is converted into DC power by the rectifier 8.
- This DC power is converted again to AC power by the inverter 10 and supplied to the electric motor 12 for turning.
- the turning electric motor 12 is driven, and as a result, the upper turning body of the hybrid construction machine turns.
- Pressure oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 6 is supplied to a hydraulic device 14, for example, a boom hydraulic cylinder, and as a result, the boom of the hybrid construction machine is driven.
- the turning electric motor 12 generates a driving torque according to the operation of the turning operation lever 16.
- the hydraulic pump 6 generates drive torque according to the operation of the hydraulic ACT operation lever 18. If both the operating levers 16 and 18 are operated simultaneously, the power required for the hydraulic pump 6 and the turning electric motor 12 may not be provided by the power of the engine 2 alone. The present invention addresses such a case.
- an engine output detecting means for example, a shaft torque sensor 20 is provided on the input side of the generator 4, and a generator output detecting means, for example, a shaft torque sensor 22 is provided on the output side of the generator 4. These are part of the generated power detection means.
- the output of the shaft torque sensor 22, that is, the torque supplied to the hydraulic pump 6, is subtracted from the output of the shaft torque sensor 20, that is, the input torque of the generator 4, by a subtractor 24 that forms the remaining part of the generated power detection means.
- the output power that can be generated by the generator 4 is calculated.
- a hydraulic sensor 26 and a flow rate sensor 28 are provided as a part of another generated power detection means.
- the outputs of the hydraulic sensor 26 and the flow rate sensor 28 are supplied to a hydraulic output calculator 30 that forms part of another generated power detection means.
- a signal from the hydraulic ACT operating lever 18 is also supplied to the hydraulic output calculator 30.
- the hydraulic output calculator 30 calculates the output supplied to the hydraulic device 14. This output is subtracted from the output of the shaft torque sensor 20 in the subtractor 32 constituting the remaining part of another generated power detection means, and the output power that can be generated by the generator 4 is calculated.
- the output of the shaft torque sensor 20 is used, but the output of the position sensor 34 provided in the generator 4 is converted into a speed (engine speed) by a position-speed converter 36.
- the engine speed can be supplied to the engine speed / torque margin table 38 and the output of the table 38 can be supplied to the subtracters 24 and 32 in place of the output of the shaft torque sensor 20.
- the engine speed / torque margin table 38 can be output by a generator with reference to its characteristics when the current shaft output of the engine is low and the power can be increased by supplying fuel to the engine 2 even if the current power generation load is taken. This is for calculating a correct electric power.
- the outputs of the subtracters 24 and 32 are supplied to the calculation unit 40.
- the arithmetic unit 40 is also supplied with a signal representing the power of the power storage means, for example, an EDLC (electric double layer capacitor) 42.
- the EDLC 42 generates electric power generated when the power of the engine 2 is surplus even after driving the turning electric motor 12 or when the turning electric motor 12 is regeneratively braked via the inverter 10 and the chopper circuit 44.
- the stored electric power is supplied to the turning electric motor 12 via the chopper circuit 44 and the inverter 10.
- the calculation unit 40 supplies the power that can be generated by the generator 4 output from either one of the subtractor 24 and the subtractor 32, to the charge / discharge calculation unit 46, and the power that can be output by the EDLC 42 and the power generation. A value obtained by adding the electric power that can be generated by the machine 4 is supplied to the vector control device 48.
- the selection method of the subtractors 24 and 32 in the computing unit 40 is arbitrary, and depending on circumstances, only the torque sensors 20 and 22 and the subtractor 24 may be provided, or the torque sensor 20, the hydraulic sensor 26, Only the flow sensor 28 and the subtractor 32 may be provided.
- the charge / discharge calculation unit 46 and the vector control device 48 are also supplied with an operation signal from the turning operation lever 16 (which indicates power to be output to the turning electric motor 12).
- the charge / discharge calculation unit 46 determines the amount of discharge from the EDLC 42 based on the operation signal from the turning operation lever 16 and the power that can be generated by the generator 2 from the calculation unit 40, and the chopper circuit 44 supplies the discharge to the chopper circuit 44. Tell the amount.
- the power that can be output by the EDLC 42 is 6 Kw
- the power that can be output by the generator 2 output from the subtractor 24 or 32 is 2 Kw
- the operation signal from the turning lever 18 requires 4 Kw.
- the charge / discharge calculation unit 46 controls the chopper 44 so that the EDLC 42 supplies the inverter 10 with 2 Kw that is insufficient for the power that can be generated by the generator 2.
- the vector control device 48 the value obtained by adding the power that can be output by the EDLC 42 from the calculation unit 40 and the power that can be generated by the generator 4 is equal to or greater than the power represented by the operation signal from the turning operation lever 16. Then, the inverter 10 is controlled so that the electric power represented by the operation signal from the turning operation lever 16 is supplied to the turning electric motor 12.
- a current sensor 50 that detects a current supplied to the turning electric motor 12 and a position sensor 52 that detects the rotational position of the turning electric motor 12 are provided.
- the signals detected by these are supplied to the vector controller 48.
- the signal from the position sensor 52 is supplied to an adder / subtractor 54 for feedback control.
- the adder / subtractor 54 is supplied with an operation signal from the turning operation lever 16, and the output of the adder / subtractor 54 is supplied to the vector controller 48.
- the charge / discharge calculation unit 46 is configured to charge the EDLC 42 so as to charge the EDLC 42.
- the circuit 44 is controlled.
- the charge / discharge calculation unit 46 causes the chopper circuit so that all the electric power of the EDLC 42 is supplied to the inverter 10. 44, but the vector controller 48 instructs the inverter 10 to limit the turning torque or speed of the turning electric motor 12 in order to suppress the electric power of the turning electric motor 12 by a shortage of electric power. .
- the control device 48 limits the turning torque or the speed so as to suppress the electric power to the turning electric motor 12 by the insufficient 1 Kw.
- work efficiency deteriorates when the speed of hydraulic equipment (boom cylinder, arm cylinder, etc.) decreases due to a decrease in the turning speed.
- the feeling given to the pilot will also realize a decrease in efficiency. According to the above configuration, work efficiency can be improved with limited output power from the drive source by preferentially allocating output power to the hydraulic equipment.
- a second embodiment is shown in FIG.
- a variable hydraulic type is used for the hydraulic pump 6a.
- the inclination angle of the swash plate provided in the hydraulic pump 6 a is controlled by the regulator 60.
- the regulator 60 is supplied with the load pressure of the hydraulic device 14, and the regulator 60 includes a drive unit that tilts the swash plate of the hydraulic pump 6a.
- a position sensor 62 is provided in the drive unit, and the position signal of the position sensor 62 is supplied to the subtracter 64 as a load signal.
- the subtracter 62 is also supplied with an operation signal from the operation lever 18 for the hydraulic actuator (a signal indicating the power required by the hydraulic actuator) or an output signal of the rotation speed / torque margin table 38, and the generator 2 outputs it.
- a signal representing possible power is supplied from the subtractor 64 to the calculation unit 66.
- a signal representing the power that can be output from the EDLC 42 is supplied to the calculation unit 66.
- the operation is the same as in the first embodiment.

- the required power is detected, and the torque or acceleration of the turning electric motor when the required power exceeds the output power is determined based on the operation amount of the hydraulic actuator operation lever or the turning operation lever.
- the output distribution to the hydraulic actuator was increased more than the output power distribution to the electric motor. Instead, the value obtained by multiplying the signal from the turning operation lever by a ratio smaller than 1 and the operation for the hydraulic actuator The power is distributed based on the signal from the lever and the upper limit is set for the signal from the turning control lever.
- the turning range detecting means detects the turning range by the turning electric motor, and the determining means determines whether the detected turning range is equal to or less than a predetermined turning predetermined range.
- the signal from the operating lever is multiplied by a ratio smaller than 1. Things can also be used.
- the EDLC 42 is used, but a chargeable / dischargeable storage battery may be used instead. In some cases, the EDLC 42 can be removed.
