Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pressure exchange device that exchanges pressure between a first fluid and a second fluid, and a performance adjustment method of the pressure exchange device.
- a pressure exchange device In a seawater desalination facility using a reverse osmosis membrane device, a pressure exchange device is provided that uses the pressure of high-pressure concentrated seawater drained from the reverse osmosis membrane device to pressurize low-pressure seawater supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane device.
- Patent Document 1 describes a pressure exchange device including a rotor 80 in which a plurality of tubular pressure transmission portions are arranged around a rotation axis.
- the pressure exchange device causes the high-pressure concentrated seawater supplied to the high-pressure inlet-side port 82 and the low-pressure seawater supplied to the low-pressure inlet-side port 81 to come into contact with each other through the tubular pressure transmission unit as the rotor 80 rotates.
- the pressure exchange device drains the low-pressure seawater that has been boosted by the pressure transmission unit using the pressure of the high-pressure concentrated seawater from the high-pressure outlet port 83 as high-pressure seawater. Further, the pressure exchanging device drains the high-pressure concentrated seawater that has finished transmitting pressure from the low-pressure outlet-side port 84 as low-pressure concentrated seawater by the low-pressure seawater supplied to the low-pressure inlet-side port 81.
- Patent Document 2 includes a rotating body 90 including a pair of rotating plates 91 and 92 and a shaft 93 connecting the rotating plates 91 and 92, and a tubular pressure transmission unit 96. An equipped pressure exchange device is described.
- One rotating plate 91 guides the low-pressure seawater supplied to the low-pressure inlet side port 95 to the pressure transmission unit 96 and the high-pressure seawater drained from the pressure transmission unit 96 to the high-pressure outlet side port 97.
- a flow path 91b is formed.
- the other rotary plate 92 has a flow path 92b for guiding the high-pressure concentrated seawater supplied to the high-pressure inlet side port 94 to the pressure transmission unit 96, and the low-pressure concentrated seawater drained from the pressure transmission unit 96 at the low-pressure outlet side port 98.
- a flow path 92a is formed to guide the flow.
- the high-pressure concentrated seawater supplied to the high-pressure inlet-side port 94 and the low-pressure seawater supplied to the low-pressure inlet-side port 95 in the tubular pressure transmission unit 96 are rotated. Contact to convert pressure.
- the pressure exchange device drains the low-pressure seawater boosted by the pressure transmission unit 96 by the pressure of the high-pressure concentrated seawater from the high-pressure outlet side port 97 as high-pressure seawater. Further, the pressure exchanging device drains the low-pressure concentrated seawater that has finished transmitting the pressure from the low-pressure outlet-side port 98 by the low-pressure seawater supplied to the low-pressure inlet-side port 95.
- the rotor 80 is formed of an expensive material such as ceramics in order to satisfy conditions such as weight reduction, high rigidity, wear resistance, and a low coefficient of friction. As a result, there has been a problem that material costs and manufacturing costs increase.
- each of the flow path 91b formed in one rotary plate 91 and the flow path 92b formed in the other rotary plate 92 is arranged inside the rotary plate along the axial direction. Since the flow path portion formed in this way and the flow path portion formed inside the rotating plate along the circumferential direction are in communication with each other, a flow path is formed in the rotating plates 91 and 92. A sufficient thickness is required. For this reason, there is a problem that the rotating plates 91 and 92 become large and material costs and processing costs increase.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure exchanging apparatus and a pressure adjusting apparatus performance adjustment method that can be made compact and cost-effective without reducing the processing flow rate.
- the first characteristic configuration of the pressure exchanging device is that pressure is applied between the first fluid and the second fluid as described in claim 1 of the claims.
- a pressure exchanging device for exchanging wherein the first flow path through which the first fluid flows in or out from one end side and the second flow path through which the second fluid flows in or out from the one end side communicate with each other.
- the pressure transmitting unit is a rotating body disposed around the rotation axis, a first fluid inflow path for guiding the first fluid to the first flow path, and a second fluid whose pressure is exchanged with the first fluid.
- a first fluid outflow passage that guides from the flow path is formed in a thickness direction, and a first side member is formed on the rotating body. In that it includes a second side member for rotatably clamped via a holding member between.
- the pressure of the first fluid guided from the outside of the device to the first flow path via the first fluid inflow path formed in the first side member communicates with the first flow path. Is transmitted to the second fluid in the second flow path.
- the pressurized second fluid is drained to the outside of the apparatus through a second fluid outflow passage formed in the first side member.
- the pressure of the second fluid guided from the outside of the apparatus to the second flow path through the second fluid inflow path formed in the first side member is the first flow communicated with the second flow path. It is transmitted to the first fluid in the path.
- the first fluid is drained to the outside of the apparatus through a first fluid outflow passage formed in the first side member.
- the first flow path, the second flow path, and the communication section of both flow paths constitute the pressure transmission section, whereby the first fluid or the second fluid is supplied from the one end side of the rotating body to the pressure transmission section.
- the pressure is exchanged between the first fluid and the second fluid so that the second fluid or the first fluid can flow out from the one end side.
- the length of the rotating body in the axial center direction is shortened when the pressure exchange process of the same flow rate is performed as compared with the pressure transmission unit configured with a straight pipe as described in Patent Document 1, and the apparatus Compactness and cost reduction can be achieved. Even when it is necessary to increase the flow rate of the pressure exchange process, the length of the rotating body in the axial center direction can be shortened, so that an extreme increase in size of the apparatus can be avoided.
- first fluid inflow channel and the outflow channel, the second fluid inflow channel and the outflow channel are formed only in the first side member, pipes connected to the inflow channel or the outflow channel of each fluid are connected to the first side. It only needs to be installed on the member side, and pipe installation work and maintenance work, etc., compared to the case where pipes connected to the fluid inflow path or outflow path are installed on both ends of the rotating body as in the conventional device. Good.
- the installation space for the pressure exchange device including the piping is reduced by the piping being gathered on the first side member side. Furthermore, maintenance of the pressure exchange device can be performed from the second side member 20b side without the piping without removing the piping from the pressure exchange device, thereby improving maintainability.
- the rotating body is held between the first and second side members and the side members.
- the first flow path and the second flow path are formed so as to penetrate the rotary body, and the rotary body and the first and second side members are interposed between the first flow path and the first lateral member. There is a gap where each fluid enters.
- the rotating body rotates in a space defined by the first side member, the second side member, and the holding member, so that the second fluid pressure-transmitted from the first fluid flowing into the first flow path is The operation of the first fluid flowing out from the two flow paths and pressure-transmitted from the second fluid flowing into the second flow path out of the first flow path is repeated.
- the first or second gap is formed in the gap formed between the end surface of the rotating body and the second side member.
- a force that presses the rotating body toward the first side member acts by the fluid.
- the first fluid flowing in from the first fluid inflow path formed in the first side member or the second fluid flowing in from the second fluid inflow path is caused by the end surface of the rotating body and the first side member. A force that enters the gap formed therebetween and presses the rotating body toward the second side member by the fluid acts.
- the rotating body that is pressed with substantially the same force from both sides does not shift in one direction between the first side member and the second side member. That is, the rotating body does not rotate while always sliding with either the first side member or the second side member, and can rotate smoothly.
- the fluid flowing through the gap also has a role of a lubricant.
- the rotating body is pressed with substantially equal force from both sides, the sliding resistance between the first and second side members and the rotating body is reduced. Therefore, even if the rotating body is formed to have a large diameter to increase the processing flow rate and the cross-sectional areas of the first and second flow paths constituting the pressure transmission unit are increased, the energy required for rotationally driving the rotating body is reduced. Loss can be kept low.
- the thickness is preferably set to about 1 to 100 ⁇ m.
- At least one of the side members is pressed to adjust the distance between the first and second side members. This is in that a pressing mechanism is provided.
- the first and second pressure mechanisms are used. Since the distance between the side members can be adjusted, it is possible to reduce the replacement frequency of main parts such as a rotating body.
- each side member is arranged on the outer side of the first and second side members as described in the fourth aspect.
- the first and second side members are formed with communication holes that form a pressing space that is pressed toward the first flow path and guide the fluid supplied to the first flow path or the second flow path.
- a pressing force acts on the first and second side members toward the rotating body by the fluid guided to each pressing space through the communication holes formed in the first and second side members.
- the pressure of the fluid guided to each pressing space is substantially equal to the pressure of the fluid entering the gap formed between the rotating body and the first and second side members. That is, since the pressing forces applied to both surfaces of the first and second side members are balanced, a situation in which the first and second side members are distorted in the direction of the rotation axis due to the fluid pressure is avoided. The Therefore, during operation, the gap between the rotator and the side member does not widen and maintains a predetermined gap, and the rotator smoothly moves without sliding with the first side member and the second side member. Can be rotated.
- the first lateral member flows into the first flow path or the second feature configuration.
- a torque application mechanism is provided that applies torque to the rotating body by the energy of the first fluid flowing out from the first flow path or the energy of the second fluid flowing into or out of the second flow path. In the point.
- the first lateral member flows into the first flow path or flows out of the first flow path, or flows into the second flow path or flows out of the second flow path. Since the energy of the second fluid is converted into torque for rotating the rotating body by the torque application mechanism, the rotating body can be rotated without external power. Then, as the rotating body rotates, the inflow and outflow of the first fluid and the outflow and inflow of the second fluid to the pressure transmission unit are switched, so that a separate channel switching mechanism is not required.
- the first fluid flowing into or out of the first flow path and the second fluid flowing into or out of the second flow path, the first fluid is greatly separated from the rotation axis in the radial direction.
- Energy efficiency because it is possible to generate a large torque with the same energy by using the energy of the fluid flowing into the flow channel or the energy of the fluid flowing out of the flow channel that is far away from the rotation axis in the radial direction. Is good.

- the first inclined portion is formed on the surface facing the rotating body in the first fluid inflow passage so as to expand in diameter so as to communicate with the plurality of first flow paths along the circumferential direction of the rotating body. Therefore, the first fluid flows from the first fluid inflow path through the first inclined portion in a dispersed manner into the plurality of first flow paths.
- the first fluid flowing along the first inclined portion flows along the circumferential direction of the rotating body and applies pressure to the wall surface of the first flow path. That is, a torque for rotating the rotating body is applied.
- the second inclined portion is formed on the surface facing the rotating body in the second fluid outflow path so as to expand in diameter so as to communicate with the plurality of second flow paths along the circumferential direction of the rotating body. Therefore, the second fluids flowing through the plurality of second flow paths merge and flow out to the second fluid outflow path via the second inclined portion.
- the second fluid that flows to the second fluid outflow path along the second inclined portion is second along the direction in which the cross-sectional area of water flowing from the second flow path to the second fluid outflow path is increased.

- the ninth feature configuration in addition to the seventh or eighth feature configuration described above, in addition to the seventh or eighth feature configuration described above, the ninth feature configuration includes the rotation of the rotating body. There is a pressure transmission portion that does not communicate with any one of the first fluid inflow passage and the second fluid outflow passage, and the first fluid outflow passage and the second fluid inflow passage.
- the pressure transmission part that does not communicate with any of the above since the inflow and outflow of the first fluid and the second fluid can be temporarily stopped, the direction of the fluid flow in the first channel and the second channel can be switched. It can be smooth.
- a plurality of sets of first fluid inflow passages are provided in the first side member.
- the second fluid outflow path is symmetrically arranged around the rotation axis.

- the cross-sectional area of the first flow path and the cross-sectional area of the second flow path Are formed to be equal to each other.
- the drive shaft for rotating the rotator with external power is the rotator as described in claim 12. It is in the point connected to.
- the rotating body is rotated by external power such as a drive unit connected to the drive shaft even when the rotation of the rotating body is not stable due to some factor such as an unstable fluid flow. This makes it possible to perform a stable pressure exchange process.
- the first fluid supplied to the first fluid inflow path is reversed.
- the high-pressure concentrated fluid drained from the osmosis membrane device, and the second fluid supplied to the second fluid inflow passage is the fluid to be concentrated supplied to the reverse osmosis membrane device.

- the processing flow rate is adjusted by changing the torque applying mechanism.
- the rotational speed of the rotating body changes because the magnitude of the velocity component in the rotating direction of the fluid that applies torque to the rotating body changes. That is, the rotation speed of the rotating body depends on the shapes of the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion. Therefore, since the number of rotations of the rotating body can be changed in accordance with the processing flow rate only by changing the shapes of the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion, the processing flow rate of the pressure exchange device can be easily adjusted.
