また、上記粉末配合剤回収方法の他の好ましい実施形態においては、混練操作後の加圧蓋の上昇に伴う混練槽内の降圧により、エアーバッグ内に与圧状態で充填されていた気体が混練槽内に流入する際に、上記濾筒に捕捉していた粉末配合剤を払い落とす付加的な払い落とし機構を動作させて、上記濾筒の粉末配合剤を払い落とすように構成される。
そのように構成することで、上記混練機内から気体が流出できる通気路は、通気シュートを経てエアーバッグに至る流路のみになり、その流路に設けたエアーバッグが加圧蓋の昇降や材料投入時の混練機内における気圧や気流の変化を吸収して、混練機内の気圧上昇を防止すると共に、混練機の機体の各部からの粉塵飛散を抑止することができる。
ゴム、プラスチック、セラミックス等の高粘度混練材料をバッチ式で混練する図示の密閉加圧型混練機1は、流体圧シリンダからなる加圧機構7で開閉自在とした加圧蓋6によって上方の加圧蓋昇降路3を閉鎖可能にした混練槽2を備え、該混練槽2内において、隣接配置されて回転する2本の混練ローター9によって上記混練材料の混練を行うもので、上記加圧蓋6により開閉される混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3の囲壁4の正面に、上記高粘度混練材料を混練槽2に投入するための開閉自在の投入扉11を設けると共に、上記混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3の囲壁4の側面に、粉体シュート14を介して混練槽2に混練用粉末配合剤Pを供給するための配合剤ホッパー13を設けている。
なお、上記加圧蓋6は、既知のように、混練槽2内を加圧状態に保持するものではあるが、その内圧が昇温等によりある程度高まったときには、浮上によりその内圧を周囲から上方に逃がす機能を有するものである。また、上記粉末配合剤回収装置を装備した場合、既知の加圧型混練機における開閉式材料投入扉の周縁等に設けられているような圧力逃がし間隙は封止され、上記加圧蓋昇降路3の上部も閉鎖され、混練機内から気体が流出できる通気路は、開放した投入扉11や上記粉体シュート14、後述の通気シュート22を経てエアーバッグ21に至る流路などになる。
また、混練槽2の内圧が低下したときには、エアーバッグ21内の気体を混練槽2内に還流させるに際し、濾筒25の全面において分離捕捉されていた粉末配合剤が逆流気体で混練槽2内に一気に払い落とされる。そのため、上記エアーバッグ21における素材の柔軟性とその内容積は、後述するように加圧蓋6を上昇させて混練槽2の内圧を低下させるときに、濾筒25に捕捉されている粉末配合剤を払い落とすに必要な風圧と風速を発生できるように形成することも考慮するべきである。
上記付加的な払い落とし機構は、粘着性の強い粉末配合剤や、混練が進行して昇温する混練物から発生する揮発成分が原因で濾筒25の内面へ付着し、それが比較的剥離し難い状態になる配合剤などを払い落とす場合にも、それらの剥離作用を補助するものとして適用することができる。
上記集塵装置40としては、他の目的等で使用しているものを流用することができ、それらの吸引ダクト41に上記分岐ダクト35を連結することができる。更に、上記エアーバッグ21内には濾筒25を設け、該濾筒25を越えて該エアーバッグ21内に粉末配合剤が流入しないようにしているが、投入扉11を開きゴムやゴム薬品類を投入する際には、投入口の上部に大型フードが必要なほど混練機内から粉塵が飛散するので、上記集塵装置40は、これらの粉塵を通気シュートを経て集塵し、その飛散を抑制するのにも有効に機能させることができる。
なお、図中、60は作業台を示している。
なお、上記密閉加圧型混練機1及び粉末配合剤回収装置20は、上記制御装置等により自動または半自動で駆動制御することもできるが、その自動または半自動の駆動制御を行うことなく、手動その他の任意手段でも駆動制御できるのは勿論である。
該混練材料の投入後に、一対の混練ローター9を回転させると共に投入扉11が閉じられると、加圧機構7により加圧蓋6を降下させて混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3が閉じられ、上記混練ローター9の回転で混練材料塊が砕かれて混練される。これが第1ステップの混練である。この第1ステップの段階では、混練槽2に粉末配合剤Pが投入されていないので、分岐ダクト35の開閉ダンパ51は開、通気シュート22の開閉ダンパ53は閉であり、エアーバッグ21は萎んだ状態にある(図示省略)。
この第2ステップの混練に際しては、加圧蓋6の降下により混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3を閉鎖するが、その加圧蓋6の降下に伴って、混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3の囲壁4内における加圧蓋6の降下距離分の気体が圧縮されて、加圧蓋6と加圧蓋昇降路3の囲壁4との間の空隙を経て加圧蓋6の上方へ噴出し、それに同伴される粉末配合剤Pと共に混練槽2から濾筒25を通過した気体は上記エアーバッグ21のバッグ本体21a内に流入し、該気体によりエアーバッグ21内が更に与圧されると共に、該気体に同伴された粉末配合剤Pが濾筒25を通過する際に分離捕捉される。
これらの操作段階で、上記エアーバッグ21内の与圧が何らかの理由で異常に増大した場合には、それを過圧膨張検出器46等で検出して、或いは作業者の判断により、分岐ダクト35の開閉ダンパ51を開き、必要に応じて調節ダンパ52で風量調節し、該分岐ダクト35を通してエアーバッグ21を集塵装置40の吸引ダクト41に連通させ、その内圧を低下させる。この場合にも、粉末配合剤は濾筒25に捕捉されているので、集塵装置40に排出されることはない。
その後、分岐ダクト35の開閉ダンパ51を開き、加圧蓋6を静かに混練槽2の加圧蓋昇降路3を閉じる位置まで降下させ、第3ステップの仕上げ混練の操作を行って、一連の混練操作を終了する。この段階では、第2ステップの混練を開始する段階のように混練槽に多量の粉末配合剤Pが投入されていないため、加圧蓋6からの気流に同伴される粉末配合剤Pがあったとしてもそれは極めて僅少である。これにより、図5の状態に戻ることになる。

上記加圧蓋により開閉される混練槽の加圧蓋昇降路の周囲を囲む囲壁の一側面に、通気シュートを介して、筒状をなす拡縮自在なエアーバッグの下端を連結し、該エアーバッグの上端は、上記筒状に保形して封止したうえで、該エアーバッグの拡縮に応じて昇降可能に吊下し、

該混練操作の終了に際し、加圧蓋を上昇させる瞬間に負圧になる混練槽内に、与圧状態で充填されていたエアーバッグ内の気体を流入させ、該気流により前記濾筒において分離捕捉されていた粉末配合剤を混練槽内に払い落とし、
その後、上記加圧蓋を降下させて混練槽に戻された粉末配合剤を混練する仕上げ混練の操作を行い、一連の混練操作を終了する、
ことを特徴とする密閉加圧型混練機の粉末配合剤回収方法。 - 上記エアーバッグの内部に懸架配設する濾筒として、円筒状の濾布素材の上部を絞ることにより該上部を細径として封止し、該濾筒の円筒状をなす下端が上記エアーバッグの下端と共に前記通気シュートの上端に連結され、
該濾筒は、上記エアーバッグが内部の与圧で筒状に保たれるときに、該バッグの内面とは全周面において間隙が保持される錐状の形態を有するものとしている、
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の密閉加圧型混練機の粉末配合剤回収方法。 - 混練操作後の加圧蓋の上昇に伴う混練槽内の降圧により、エアーバッグ内に与圧状態で充填されていた気体が混練槽内に流入する際に、上記濾筒に捕捉していた粉末配合剤を払い落とす付加的な払い落とし機構を動作させて、上記濾筒の粉末配合剤を払い落とす、
ことを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載の密閉加圧型混練機の粉末配合剤回収方法。
