Description

焼入れ性に優れる面内異方性の小さい高炭素熱延鋼板およびその製造方法
 本発明は、焼入れ性に優れ、かつ面内異方性(in-plane anisotropy)、特にr値の面内異方性Δr(以後、単にΔrと呼ぶ)の小さい高炭素熱延鋼板およびその製造方法に関する。
 現在、ギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの自動車用部品は、JIS G 4051に規定された機械構造用炭素鋼鋼材である熱延鋼板を冷間加工によって所望の形状に加工した後、所望の硬さを確保するために焼入れ処理を施して製造されている。そのため、素材の熱延鋼板には、優れた冷間加工性や焼入れ性が要求されており、これまでに種々の鋼板が提案されている。
 例えば、特許文献1には、鋼成分として、質量%で、C:0.10~0.37%、Si:1%以下、Mn:1.4%以下、P:0.1%以下、S:0.03%以下、sol.Al:0.01~0.1%、N:0.0005~0.0050%、Ti:0.005~0.05%、B:0.0003~0.0050%を含有し、B-(10.8/14)N*≧0.0005%、N*=N-(14/48)Ti、但し、右辺≦0の場合、N*=0を満足し、残部Feおよび不可避的不純物からなり、鋼中析出物であるTiNの平均粒径(average particle size)が0.06~0.30μmであり、かつ焼入れ後の旧オーステナイト粒径(grain size)が2~25μmである焼入れ後の靭性に優れる熱延鋼板が開示されている。
 特許文献2には、質量%で、C:0.15~0.40%、Si:0.35%以下、Mn:0.6~1.50%、P:0.030%以下、S:0.020%以下、sol.Al:0.01~0.20%、N:0.0020~0.012%、Ti:0.005~0.1%、B:0.0003~0.0030%を含み、かつ、B≦0.0032-0.014×sol.Al-0.029×Tiを満足し、残部Feおよび不可避的不純物からなる冷間加工性、焼入れ性、熱処理後の靭性に優れたTi-B系高炭素鋼板の製造方法が開示されている。
 特許文献3には、質量%で、C:0.20~0.48%、Si:0.1%以下、Mn:0.20~0.60%、P:0.02%以下、S:0.01%以下、sol.Al:0.1%以下、N:0.005%以下、Ti:0.005~0.05%、B:0.0005~0.003%、Cr:0.05~0.3%、Ti-(48/14)N≧0.005、残部Feおよび不可避的不純物である組成とフェライト平均粒径が6μm以下、炭化物平均粒径が0.1μm以上1.20μm未満、炭化物を実質的に含まないフェライト粒の体積率が5%以下である組織を有する冷間加工性に優れた高炭素熱延鋼板が開示されている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1から3に記載の熱延鋼板では、B添加により優れた焼入れ性が得られるものの、Δrが大きいため、ギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの円筒状部品に加工すると真円度の低下や周方向板厚分布の不均一という寸法精度の劣化を招く。
本発明は、焼入れ性に優れ、かつΔrの小さい高炭素熱延鋼板およびその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは、Bを添加した高炭素熱延鋼板の焼入れ性とΔrについて検討した結果、以下のことを見出した。
i) セメンタイトの平均粒径を1.0μm以下にすることにより優れた焼入れ性が得られる。
ii) ギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの円筒状部品に加工しても寸法精度の劣化を招かないためには、Δrの絶対値を0.1以下にする必要がある。
iii) i)については、仕上圧延後50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で600℃以下まで冷却し、同温度範囲で巻取ることが、また、ii)については、Tiを添加せず、850℃以上の仕上温度で仕上圧延後、50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で急速冷却する前に、Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持することが効果的である。
 本発明は、このような知見に基づいてなされたものであり、質量%で、C:0.20~0.48%、Si:0.1%以下、Mn:0.5%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、sol.Al:0.10%以下、N:0.005%以下、B:0.0005~0.0050%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる組成を有し、フェライトとセメンタイトからなるミクロ組織を有し、前記セメンタイトの平均粒径が1.0μm以下であり、Δrの絶対値が0.1以下であることを特徴とする焼入れ性に優れる面内異方性の小さい高炭素熱延鋼板を提供する。
 本発明の高炭素熱延鋼板では、上記の組成に加え、さらに、質量%で、Ni、Cr、Moのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で1.5%以下含有させたり、これらの元素と同時に、あるいは別個に、Sb、Snのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で0.1%以下含有させることができる。
 本発明の高炭素熱延鋼板は、上記の組成を有する鋼を、粗圧延後、850℃以上の仕上温度で仕上圧延し、Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持後、50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で600℃以下まで冷却し、同温度範囲で巻取った後、Ac1変態点以下の焼鈍温度で焼鈍することにより製造可能である。
 本発明により、焼入れ性に優れ、かつΔrの小さい高炭素熱延鋼板を製造できるようになった。本発明の高炭素熱延鋼板は、自動車のギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの円筒状部品に好適である。
 以下に、本発明である高炭素熱延鋼板およびその製造方法について詳細に説明する。なお、成分の含有量の単位である「%」は特に断らない限り「質量%」を意味するものとする。
 1) 組成
C:0.20~0.48%
Cは、焼入れ後の強度を得るために重要な元素である。部品に加工した後、熱処理によって所望の硬さを得るため、C量は少なくとも0.20%以上にする必要がある。しかし、C量が0.48%を超えると硬質化し、冷間加工性が劣化する。したがって、C量は0.20~0.48%とする。十分な熱処理後の硬さを得るには、C量は0.26%以上にすることが好ましい。
 Si:0.1%以下
Siは、焼入れ性を向上させるとともに固溶強化により硬さを上昇させる元素である。しかし、Si量が0.1%を超えると、硬質化し、冷間加工性が劣化する。したがって、Si量は0.1%以下とする。
 Mn:0.5%以下
Mnは、焼入れ性を向上させるとともに固溶強化により硬さを上昇させる元素である。しかし、Mn量が0.5%を超えると、硬質化したり、偏析に起因するバンド組織が形成されるため、冷間加工性が劣化する。したがって、Mn量は0.5%以下とする。Mn量の下限は、特に規定しないが、Mn量は0.2%以上とすることが好ましい。
 P:0.03%以下
Pは、焼入れ性を向上させるとともに固溶強化により硬さを上昇させる元素である。しかし、P量が0.03%を超えると粒界脆化を招き、焼入れ後の靭性が劣化する。したがって、P量は0.03%以下とする。優れた焼入れ後の靭性を得るには、P量は0.02%以下にすることが好ましい。
 S:0.01%以下
Sは、硫化物を形成し、冷間加工性および焼入れ後の靭性を劣化させるため、低減しなければならない元素である。S量が0.01%を超えると、冷間加工性および焼入れ後の靭性が著しく劣化する。したがって、S量は0.01%以下とする。優れた冷間加工性および焼入れ後の靭性を得るには、S量は0.005%以下が好ましい。
 sol.Al:0.10%以下
sol.Al量が0.10%を超えると、焼入れ処理の加熱時にAlNが生成してオーステナイト粒が微細化し過ぎ、冷却時にフェライトの生成が促進され、フェライトとマルテンサイトの複合組織となり、焼入れ後の靭性が劣化する。したがって、sol.Al量は0.10%以下、好ましくは0.06%以下とする。
 N:0.005%以下
N量が0.005%を超えると、BNの形成により固溶B量が低下し、また、多量のBNやAlNの形成により焼入れ処理の加熱時にオーステナイト粒が微細化し過ぎ、冷却時にフェライトの生成が促進され、焼入れ後の靭性が劣化する。したがって、N量は0.005%以下とする。N量の下限は、特に規定しないが、適量のBNやAlNの形成により焼入れ処理の加熱時にオーステナイト粒の成長を抑制し、焼入れ後の靭性を向上させるので、N量は0.0005%以上とすることが好ましい。
 B:0.0005~0.0050%
Bは、焼入れ性を高める重要な元素である。しかし、B量が0.0005%未満では、十分な焼入れ性を高める効果が認められない。一方、B量が0.0050%を超えると、仕上圧延後のオーステナイトの再結晶が遅延し、熱延鋼板の集合組織が発達し、Δrの絶対値が0.1を超える。したがって、B量は0.0005~0.0050%とする。
 残部はFeおよび不可避的不純物とするが、焼入れ性のさらなる向上のために、Ni、Cr、Moのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で1.5%以下含有させることができる。さらに、光輝焼入れや浸炭窒化処理の際に、脱炭や窒化による焼入れ性低下を抑える目的で、Sb、Snのうちの少なくとも1種を合計で0.1%以下を含有させることもできる。
 2) ミクロ組織
冷間加工性を向上させるために、フェライトとセメンタイトからなるミクロ組織にする必要がある。また、焼入れ性を向上させるために、セメンタイトの平均粒径を1.0μm以下にする必要がある。
ここで、セメンタイトの平均粒径は、鋼板の圧延方向の板厚断面を研磨後、ナイタール腐食し、走査電子顕微鏡を用いて板厚中央部近辺10箇所を3000倍で観察し、画像処理により各箇所のセメンタイトの平均粒径を求め、さらに10箇所の平均粒径を平均して求めた。なお、このとき、同時にミクロ組織の相構成も確認できる。
 3)Δrの絶対値:0.1以下
ギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの円筒状部品を、真円度や周方向板厚分布に問題なく、すなわち寸法精度良く加工するには、Δrの絶対値を0.1以下にする必要がある。
ここで、Δrの絶対値は、鋼板の圧延方向に対して0°、45°、90°方向から採取したJIS 5号試験片を用い、JIS Z 2254に従い、それぞれの方向のr値(r0、r90、r45)を測定し、次式によってΔrを計算して求めた。
Δr=(r0+r90-2×r45)/2
 4) 製造条件
仕上圧延:850℃以上の仕上温度
本発明の高炭素熱延鋼板は、上記のような組成の鋼を粗圧延と仕上圧延からなる熱間圧延して所望の板厚の鋼板とされる。このとき、仕上温度が850℃未満では、その後の平均冷却速度50℃/s以上の急速冷却前にオーステナイトの再結晶が十分に進行しないため、集合組織が発達し、Δrの絶対値を0.1以下にすることが困難になる。したがって、仕上圧延は、850℃以上の仕上温度で行う必要がある。仕上温度の上限は、特に規定しないが、操業上の観点から、仕上温度は1000℃以下とすることが好ましい。
 仕上圧延後急速冷却までの処理:Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持
上記のように、仕上温度を制御しても、急速冷却前にオーステナイトの再結晶を十分に進行させることができず、Δrの絶対値を0.1以下にすることができない場合がある。そこで、急速冷却前にオーステナイトの再結晶を十分に進行させ、Δrの絶対値を確実に0.1以下にするには、上記の仕上温度の制御に加え、仕上圧延後の鋼板をAr3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持する必要がある。Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持するには、例えば仕上圧延後空冷すればよい。
なお、Ar3変態点は、例えば、冷却速度10℃/sの加工フォーマスター実験で熱膨張曲線を求め、その変化点により求めることができる。
 Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持後の冷却:50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度
Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持後は、巻取りまでに粗大なパーライトが生成するのを抑制し、その後の焼鈍温度がAc1変態点以下の焼鈍でセメンタイトの平均粒径を1.0μm以下にするために、50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で冷却する必要がある。
 巻取温度:600℃以下
50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で冷却後は、巻取り後に粗大なパーライトが生成するのを抑制し、その後の焼鈍温度がAc1変態点以下の焼鈍でセメンタイトの平均粒径を1.0μm以下にするために、600℃以下の巻取温度で巻取る必要がある。巻取温度の下限は、特に規定しないが、鋼板の形状を考慮すると、巻取温度は200℃以上とすることが好ましい。
 焼鈍:Ac1変態点以下の焼鈍温度
巻取り後の鋼板には、酸洗後、パーライトを生成させず、フェライトとセメンタイトからなるミクロ組織とし、かつセメンタイトの平均粒径を1.0μm以下にするため、Ac1変態点以下の焼鈍温度で焼鈍を行う必要がある。焼鈍温度がAc1変態点を超えると、加熱中にオーステナイトが生じて、冷却中に粗大なパーライトを生成し、焼入性が低下する。焼鈍温度の下限は、特に規定しないが、セメンタイトの球状化の観点から、焼鈍温度は600℃以上とすることが好ましい。
なお、Ac1変態点は、例えば、加熱速度100℃/hrのフォーマスタ実験で熱膨張曲線を求め、その変化点により求めることができる。
 本発明の高炭素鋼を溶製するには、転炉、電気炉どちらも使用可能である。また、こうして溶製された高炭素鋼は、造塊-分塊圧延または連続鋳造によりスラブとされる。スラブは、通常、加熱された後、熱間圧延される。なお、連続鋳造で製造されたスラブの場合は、そのままあるいは温度低下を抑制する目的で保熱して、圧延する直送圧延を適用してもよい。また、スラブを加熱して熱間圧延する場合は、スケールによる表面状態の劣化を避けるためにスラブ加熱温度を1280℃以下とすることが好ましい。熱間圧延では、仕上温度を確保するため、熱間圧延中にシートバーヒータ等の加熱手段により被圧延材の加熱を行ってもよい。
 表1に示す鋼番AからLの組成を有する高炭素鋼を溶製し、次いで表2に示す製造条件に従って熱間圧延後、酸洗し、Ac1変態点以下の焼鈍温度で焼鈍を行い、板厚3.0mmの熱延焼鈍板を製造した。
 このようにして製造した熱延焼鈍板について、上記の方法によりミクロ組織の相構成、セメンタイトの平均粒径、およびΔrの絶対値を求めた。また、次に示す方法により焼入れ性を評価した。
焼入れ性:鋼板から平板試験片(幅50mm×長さ50mm)を採取し、RXガスに空気を混合してカーボンポテンシャルを鋼中のC量と等しくなるように制御した雰囲気ガス中で、900℃で1時間加熱保持後、直ちに50℃の油中へ投入し攪拌させる雰囲気焼入れ法と、鋼板から平板試験片(幅30mm×長さ100mm)を採取し、100kHzの高周波コイルを移動させながら4sで900℃まで加熱し、保持することなく水冷する高周波焼入れ法で焼入れ試験を行い、ビッカース硬さ試験機で荷重200gfの条件下で、平板試験片の板厚断面の表層から0.1mm入った位置において10点硬さを測定し、平均硬さ(Hv)を求めた。そして、両試験で求めた平均硬さが、鋼中のC量に応じた表3に示すHvの条件を満足した場合に、焼入れ性が優れるとした。
 結果を表2に示す。
本発明例の熱延焼鈍板は、フェライトとセメンタイトからなるミクロ組織を有し、センメンタイトの平均粒径が1.0μm以下であり、焼入れ性に優れていることがわかる。また、Δrの絶対値が0.1以下と面内異方性も小さいので、ギア、トランスミッション、シートリクライナーなどの円筒状部品に加工しても、真円度が良好で、周方向板厚分布が均一な寸法精度に優れた部品が得られることになる。

Claims (11)

  1.  質量%で、C:0.20~0.48%、Si:0.1%以下、Mn:0.5%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.01%以下、sol.Al:0.10%以下、N:0.005%以下、B:0.0005~0.0050%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不可避的不純物からなる組成を有し、フェライトとセメンタイトからなるミクロ組織を有し、前記セメンタイトの平均粒径が1.0μm以下であり、r値の面内異方性Δrの絶対値が0.1以下である焼入れ性に優れる面内異方性の小さい高炭素熱延鋼板。
  2.  さらに、質量%で、Ni、Cr、Moからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を合計で1.5%以下含有する請求項1に記載の熱延鋼板。
  3.  さらに、質量%で、Sb、Snからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を合計で0.1%以下含有する請求項1または2に記載の熱延鋼板。
  4.  前記C含有量が、0.26~0.48%である請求項1ないし3に記載の熱延鋼板。
  5.  前記Mn含有量が、0.2~0.5%である請求項1ないし4に記載の熱延鋼板。
  6.  前記P含有量が、0.02%以下である請求項1ないし5に記載の熱延鋼板。
  7.  前記S含有量が、0.005%以下である請求項1ないし6に記載の熱延鋼板。
  8.  前記sol.Al含有量が、0.06%以下である請求項1ないし7に記載の熱延鋼板。
  9.  前記N含有量が、0.0005~0.005%である請求項1ないし8に記載の熱延鋼板。
  10.  請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の組成を有する鋼を、粗圧延後、850℃以上の仕上温度で仕上圧延し、Ar3変態点+30℃以上で5s以上保持後、50℃/s以上の平均冷却速度で600℃以下まで冷却し、同温度範囲で巻取った後、Ac1変態点以下の焼鈍温度で焼鈍する焼入れ性に優れる面内異方性の小さい高炭素熱延鋼板の製造方法。
  11.  前記焼鈍温度が600℃以上Ac1変態点以下である、請求項10に記載の方法。
