Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method in which a terminal performs handover in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system.
- LTE Long Term Evolution
- the LTE system is in the spotlight as the fourth generation mobile communication technology.
- the LTE system supports handover scenarios in various scenarios as well as handover support, which is a basic inter-cell mobility technology supported by previous generation communication technologies.
- the various types of cells include a macro cell covering a wide range, a pico cell covering a narrow range, and a closed subscriber group group (CSG) cell that only specific subscribers can access. .
- CSG closed subscriber group group
- the UE fails handover.
- the UE performs handover from the source cell to the target cell
- the terminal decides whether to reset previously used parameters.
- the terminal receives a handover command from the source cell
- the terminal receives a command with the 'handover involving full configuration option' and resets the previously used parameters. After that, the handover fails and the connection is reestablished again.
- reconnection connection reestablishment and connection reconfiguration
- it is necessary to reuse the existing parameters there is a case that can not be reused by resetting the parameters that have already been used to solve this problem.
- the network should be able to determine whether the UE is a member of the target cell when the UE wants to handover to the specific CSG cell.
- the UE reports the signal measurement result to the source cell before performing the handover, it reports the CSG ID of the measured cell and whether it is a member of the corresponding cell.
- the above procedure is a method that can be used when the CSG target cell is used by one provider.
- a method for informing the terminal whether the CSG target cell belongs to which operator is not defined and needs to be solved is a method that can be used when the CSG target cell is used by one provider.

- the parameter when the UE fails to perform the handover with the 'handover involving full configuration option' setting, when the connection with the existing source cell is reestablished, it is used in the existing source cell. It suggests how to reuse old parameters.
- the parameter includes a count (COUNT value), which is a value used for encryption and integrity check, and the count value is a sum of a Hyper Frame Number value and a Packet Data Convergence Protocol Sequence Number (PDCP SN).
- the UE when the UE performs the handover to the CSG cell shared by several operators, when the target cell is operated by several operators when reporting the measurement results of the neighboring cells to the source cell, We propose a method of reporting the accessible provider ID (s) and using the same to determine a target cell.
- the method for handover control of a terminal includes: receiving an RRC connection reconfiguration message from a source cell, determining whether full configuration is set in the received RRC connection reconfiguration message; Storing the parameters used in the source cell at the time of setting, resetting the parameters, and performing encryption and integrity checking by using the reset parameters.
- the terminal for controlling the handover includes a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a signal with a source cell or a target cell, and a complete configuration in the received RRC connection reconfiguration message upon receiving an RRC connection reconfiguration message from the source cell.
- a control unit for determining whether a full configuration is set, storing a parameter used in the source cell at the time of setting, resetting the parameter, and performing encryption and integrity check using the reset parameter. It is done.
- the terminal and the base station can perform communication without malfunction even after the handover failure, and even when the handover from the macro cell to the CSG cell shared by several operators, the terminal performs the handover to a cell to which the terminal can access. can do.

Description

도 2를 참조하면, LTE 시스템의 무선 프로토콜은 단말과 ENB에서 각각 PDCP(Packet Data Convergence Protocol 205, 240), RLC(Radio Link Control 210, 235), MAC (Medium Access Control 215,230)으로 이루어진다.
(MAC-I: Message Authentication Code for Integrity 또는 NAS-MAC: Message Authentication Code for NAS for Integrity) 을 생성한다.
