Abstract

La présente invention concerne un tambour de frein comporte un bol, cylindrique, comprenant une partie radiale de liaison (11) entourée par une bande axiale circulaire (12), un insert métallique comprenant une bande circulaire (21) assemblée à force sur la surface externe de la bande axiale circulaire (12) du bol et une couronne (30) métallique surmoulée sur la surface périphérique externe de l'assemblage formé par l'insert métallique (20) et le bol. Elle concerne aussi un procédé de réalisation d'un tel tambour de frein et un véhicule automobile comportant au moins un tel tambour de frein.
