Abstract

Abhängig von einem vorgegebenen dreidimensionalen Fahrzeugumfeldmodell und abhängig von einem aktuell erfassten zweiten Bild der Bildfolge wird ein korrigiertes Anzeigebild ermittelt. Das Fahrzeugumfeldmodell ist hierbei abhängig von zumindest einem ersten Bild einer Bildfolge ermittelt und umfasst ein in dem ersten Bild detektiertes Objekt, das eine vorgegebene resultierende absolute Position und/oder eine vorgegebene resultierende Position in Bezug auf das Fahrzeug aufweist. Das zweite Bild ist eine vorgegebene Zeitdauer nach dem ersten Bild erfasst und umfasst das detektierte Objekt. Das korrigierte Anzeigebild umfasst zumindest ein grafisches Element, das das detektierte Objekt repräsentiert und wird derart ermittelt, dass es geeignet ist, auf ein vorgegebenes Anzeigefeld des Head-up-Displays projiziert zu werden, so dass das zumindest eine grafische Element von einem Betrachter des Anzeigefelds aus einer vorgegebenen Betrachtungsposition heraus mit einem direkten Bezug zu der realen Umgebung des Fahrzeugs wahrgenommen wird.
