Abstract

A tobacco package (1) is disclosed for use in a cigarette making machine, the package comprising a cover (3) and a retainer (2). The retainer (2) is arranged to receive a plurality of tobacco portions, and is moveable relative to the cover (3) between a first position, in which the tobacco portions are concealed by at least the cover (3) to prevent the machine from accessing the tobacco portions, and a second position, in which at least one of the tobacco portions is accessible.
