Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Energieumwandlungssystem mit einer Elektrolyseeinheit (4) zur elektrochemischen Erzeugung von Wasserstoff und Sauerstoff aus Wasser, einem Anschluss an das öffentliche Stromnetz (1) zur Versorgung der Elektrolyseeinheit (4) mit elektrischer Energie, einem anaeroben Bioreaktor (6) einer Kläranlage, wobei der Bioreaktor (6) eine Abführvorrichtung (9) für die Entnahme eines im Bioreaktor entstehenden methanhaltigen Gases aufweist, einer Zufuhrvorrichtung (5) für die Zufuhr von Wasserstoff in den anaeroben Bioreaktor (6) der Kläranlage, einer Steuer- und Regelungseinheit (11) zur Steuerung und Regelung der Zufuhr von Wasserstoff in den anaeroben Bioreaktor (6) der Kläranlage und zur Steuerung und Regelung der Entnahme des im Bioreaktor (6) entstehenden methanhaltigen Gases und einer Vorrichtung zur Verwertung (18) und/oder Speicherung (24) des aus dem Bioreaktor entnommenen methanhaltigen Gases.
