Description

보호회로모듈 및 이를 포함하는 전지모듈
이하의 설명은 보호회로모듈 및 이를 포함하는 전지모듈에 관한 것이다.
이차전지모듈은 다수의 셀이 직렬 혹은 병렬로 연결되어 일정 전압을 출력하도록 설계된다. 이 때, 다수의 셀 각각의 성능이 전지모듈, 크게는 전지모듈이 결합된 전지팩의 성능에 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서, 전지 셀 각각의 성능을 측정하기 위하여, 각각의 전압 혹은 전류를 측정할 필요가 있고, 이를 위해 이차전지모듈 내에는 전압 혹은 전류의 측정을 위한 센싱모듈이 장착된다.
센싱모듈에 의해 모이는 전기 신호는 외부 출력 단자를 통해 BMS(Battery Management System)로 전달되어 각 셀의 성능 측정 등이 이루어지게 된다. 이러한 시스템에서는, 셀이 모든 배터리를 관장하는 BMS와 직접 연결되어 있게 된다.
그런데, 셀에 이상 화학 반응, 임의의 외부 충격 등에 따른 과전류, 과전압 등이 생길 수 있고, 이러한 경우 셀에 직접 연결된 BMS에 까지 영향이 미쳐 BMS도 손상될 가능성이 있다.
위와 같은 경우를 대비하기 위해, 보호회로모듈을 마련하여 배터리 셀의 과전류, 과전압 등 배터리 이상 동작으로부터 시스템 전체를 보호할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
일실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈은, 기판, 상기 기판에 장착되며 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈로부터 셀의 전기적 신호를 수신하는 접속단자, 상기 기판에 장착되며 상기 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 상기 접속단자를 전기적으로 연결하는 퓨즈, 상기 기판의 일면을 덮는 제1커버 및 상기 기판이 안치되며 상기 기판의 타면을 덮는 제2커버를 포함할 수 있다.
다른 일실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈은, 기판, 상기 기판에 장착되는 회로부, 상기 기판을 덮는 제1커버, 상기 기판이 안치되는 제2커버 및 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며 상기 제2커버가 안치되는 받침부를 포함할 수 있고, 상기 제2커버는 상기 제1커버 및 받침부 사이에서 압착되어 고정될 수 있다.
또 다른 일실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈은, 기판, 상기 기판에 장착되는 회로부, 상기 기판을 내부에 수용하는 회로케이스 및 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며 상기 회로케이스가 안치되는 받침부를 포함할 수 있다.
일실시예에 따른 전지모듈은, 상술한 실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈 및 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되고 상기 보호회로모듈이 안치되는 받침부를 포함할 수 있다.
다른 일실시예에 따른 복수의 셀 리드를 포함하는 전지모듈은, 상기 복수의 셀 리드와 전기적으로 연결되는 복수의 탭, 상기 복수의 탭 또는 상기 복수의 셀 리드와 슬라이드 결합하는 복수의 접속단자와, 회로부를 포함하는 보호회로모듈 및 상기 복수의 탭의 배열의 중앙에서 상기 보호회로모듈을 전지모듈 프레임에 고정시키는 체결부재를 포함할 수 있다.

이하, 여러 실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈 및 전지모듈을 첨부한 도면에 의거하여 상세하게 설명하기로 한다.
도 1은 일실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈(100)의 분해사시도이다. 도시된 바와 같이, 본 실시예에에 따른 보호회로모듈(100)은 기판(110), 제1커버(120) 및 제2커버(130)를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 기판(100)에는 접속단자(111)와 회로부(112)가 장착될 수 있다. 이하, 설명의 편의를 위해 회로부(112)는 퓨즈(fuse)인 것으로 기술하나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 더욱 다양한 회로부에 관한 내용은 후술하기로 한다.
기판(110)은 제2커버(130)에 안치되고, 제1커버(120)는 기판(110)의 일면(본 실시예에서는 상면)을 덮게 된다. 동시에, 제2커버(130)는 기판(110)의 타면(본 실시예에서는 하면)을 덮어 기판(100) 및 기판(100)에 장착되는 주요 회로 또는 부품을 보호하게 된다. 또한, 제1커버(120) 및 제2커버(130)는 상호 결합을 위한 체결부를 구비하여 기판(110)을 사이에 두고 상호 결합할 수 있다. 이에 대하여는 후술하기로 한다.

도 2a 및 2b는 일실시예에 따른 기판(110)을 도시한 사시도이다. 기판(110)은 통상의 인쇄회로기판(PCB)일 수 있고, 상술한 바와 같이, 기판(110)에는 접속단자(111) 및 퓨즈(112)가 장착될 수 있다. 도시된 바와 같이, 접속단자(111) 및 퓨즈(112)가 기판(110)의 양 면에 나뉘어 장착되었으나, 이는 하나의 예일 뿐이라는 것은 전술한 바와 같다.

아울러, 필요 시 전기적 단락을 이룸으로써 전체 전지모듈의 보호를 도모하는 위의 예들과는 달리, 회로부(112)는 다른 방식으로 전지모듈의 안정을 도모하는 모든 구성을 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 전압 안정화 회로, 전압 신호 송수신 회로, 각 셀의 연결 접점을 on/off하는 회로, 온도/데이터 방출 회로 등이 회로부(112)를 구성하여 기판(110) 또는 전지모듈에 제공됨으로써 전지모듈을 보호할 수 있다.
회로부(112)는 셀 신호 출력부(예를 들어, 탭(165, 175))와 접하여(예를 들어, 접점을 통하여 접함) 셀 신호 출력부와 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 이와 같은 접점은 보호회로모듈(100)의 내부에 위치하여 외부 영향에 의해 접점의 단락이 일어나는 것을 방지하고, 따라서 회로부(112)와 셀 신호 출력부의 전기적 연결을 유지함으로써 전체 시스템을 안정적으로 운용할 수 있다.

위와 같이 구성되는 보호회로모듈(100)에 의하면, 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈로부터 셀의 이상 현상(과전류, 과전압 등)을 감지하였을 때, 보호회로모듈(100), 특히 퓨즈(112)가 BMS를 포함한 시스템 전체를 보호하여 주므로, 비정상 조건에서도 부품의 피해를 최소화할 수 있고, 전체 시스템에 무리를 주지 않는 범위 하에서 시스템을 운용할 수 있다. 또한, 보호회로를 위와 같이 모듈화시킴으로써, 용접 또는 솔더링 등의 작업을 배제할 수 있고, 이에 따라 보다 간단하게 전지모듈에 조립할 수 있으며, 정비 또는 교체 목적에 따라 보호회로를 탈거하는 것도 매우 용이하게 된다.
보호회로모듈(100)의 견고성을 위해, 제1커버(120) 및 제2커버(130)는 상호 결합을 위한 체결부를 구비하여 기판(110)을 사이에 두고 상호 결합할 수 있다. 이를 설명하기 위해 도 1을 다시 참조하기로 한다. 제1커버(120)에는 걸림돌기(129)가 형성될 수 있고, 제2커버(130)에는 제1커버(120)의 걸림돌기(129)에 대응되는 위치에 후크(139)가 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 걸림돌기(129)는 후크(139)에 형성된 홈에 걸려서 스냅핏(snap-fit) 방식으로 후크(139)에 체결될 수 있다. 체결이 완료된 모습은 도 7a 및 7b에서 확인할 수 있다. 위와 같이, 제1커버(120)와 제2커버(130)가 결합함으로써 자동차 등의 진동 환경에서 사용되는 경우에도 그 내부의 기판(110)을 보호할 수 있다.
이와 유사한 취지로, 보호회로모듈(100)은 체결부재(140)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 체결부재(140)는 제1커버(120), 기판(110) 및 제2커버(130)를 일거에 관통 체결하도록 설계될 수 있다. 이러한 체결부재(140)는 상술한 제1커버(120) 및 제2커버(130)의 체결부와 동시에 구현되어 보호회로모듈(100)의 견고성을 보다 더 향상시킬 수 있다. 이러한 체결부재(140)로는 볼트 및 너트가 고려될 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.상기 체결부재(140)가 각 부재를 관통 체결할 때, 체결부재(140)는 한 개만이 마련될 수 있고, 각 부재의 중앙을 관통할 수 있다. 각 부재의 중앙이 아닌 다른 위치에 여러 개의 체결부재를 사용하는 경우에는 체결력의 균형이 흐트러질 가능성이 있으므로, 체결부재(140)가 중앙을 관통 체결하도록 하는 것을 통해 균형을 유지하면서 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 접속단자(111)를 일거에, 동시에 연결시킬 수 있다.
또한, 체결부재(140)의 관통을 위해 제1커버(120), 기판(110) 및 제2커버(130)에는 체결공(125, 115, 135)이 각각 형성되고, 이러한 복수의 체결공(125, 115, 135) 중 적어도 어느 하나에는 복수의 리브가 제공될 수 있다. 이를 설명하기 위해 도 3을 참조한다. 도3에 도시된 바와 같이, 제1커버(120)에 형성된 체결공(125)의 주변부에는 복수의 리브(126)가 방사상으로 형성되어 체결부재(140)를 지지함으로써 체결부재(140)의 체결력에 의한 제1커버(120)의 손상 위험을 제거할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서는 제1커버(120)의 체결공(125)에만 복수의 리브(126)가 제공되는 것으로 설명하나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 기판(110) 및 제2커버(130)의 체결공(115, 135)에도 동일한 방식의 지지구조가 채용될 수 있다.
다시 도1, 2a 및 2b를 참조하면, 기판(110)에는 데이터 커넥터(113)가 장착되어 셀의 정보를 외부 시스템으로 전송할 수 있다. 또한, 제1커버(120)에는 데이터 커넥터(113)를 기판(110)에 장착하기 위한 데이터 커넥터 삽입 슬롯(123)이 형성될 수 있어(도 3 참조), 데이터 커넥터(113)의 정비 및 교체가 용이하게 된다.
이와 유사한 취지로, 제1커버(120)에는 퓨즈 삽입 슬롯(122)이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 퓨즈 삽입 슬롯(122)을 통해 퓨즈(112)를 삽입할 수 있으며, 퓨즈(112)를 개별적으로 분리하여 정비 및 교체를 용이하게 할 수 있다.
도 4a 및 4b에 도시된 바와 같이, 제2커버(130)에는 접속단자 보호부(131)가 형성될 수 있다. 접속단자 보호부(131)는 접속단자(111)와 대응되는 형상으로 설계되어 접속단자(111)를 수용함으로써 접속단자(111)를 외부 충격 및 먼지 등으로부터 보호할 수 있다. 또한, 상술한 바와 같이, 접속단자(111)는 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 결합하여 셀의 전기적 신호를 수신하는 바, 접속단자 보호부(131)의 일측에는 이들의 결합을 위한 가이드 슬롯(132)이 형성될 수 있다.
이하에서는 상술한 보호회로모듈(100)을 포함하는 전지모듈에 대한 설명을 하기로 한다. 일실시예에 따른 전지모듈은 보호회로모듈(100) 외에 받침부를 포함할 수 있다.
도 5는 일실시예에 따른 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)의 분해사시도이다. 도 5 내지 7b에서는 설명의 편의를 위해 전지모듈 프레임은 생략하고 도시하였고, 도시된 것 처럼, 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)가 하나의 모듈을 구성할 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 도 8a 및 8b와 같이, 보호회로모듈(100)이 준비되고, 받침부(150)는 이와는 별도로 전지모듈 프레임(1)에 따로 고정 결합될 수 있다. 이에 관하여는 뒤에서 자세히 설명하기로 한다.
도 5에서 알 수 있듯이, 보호회로모듈(100)은 받침부(150)에 안치될 수 있다. 동시에 받침부(150)는 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합될 수 있다. 즉, 받침부(150)는 보호회로모듈(100)을 전지모듈 프레임에 고정시키는 역할을 할 수 있다. 본 실시예에 있어서, 받침부(150)에는 체결공(151)이 형성되어 볼트 등의 체결요소를 이용하여 전지모듈 프레임에 결합될 수 있다. 또한, 상기 받침부(150)는 전지모듈 프레임뿐 아니라 실제로 적용된 곳에 직접 결합될 수도 있다. 예를 들어, 보호회로모듈(100) 또는 전지모듈이 차량에 적용되는 경우, 받침부(150)는 상기 차량 내의 차량용 박스 등에 결합될 수 있다.
한편, 받침부(150)는 제2커버(130)의 적어도 일부를 감싸는 형상으로 설계될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 도시된 바와 같이, 받침부(150)는 그 단면이 절곡된 구조로 설계되어 제2커버(130)를 양측에서 감싸며 제2커버(130), 더 나아가 보호회로모듈(100)를 지지할 수 있다. 이로써, 보호회로모듈(100)이 받침부(150)에 안치되는데 있어서, 보다 나은 안정감을 제공할 수 있고, 자동차 등의 진동 조건에서 사용될 경우에도 보호회로모듈(100)의 안정적인 위치 유지 및 전체 장치들의 견고한 체결/결합 상태를 유지할 수 있는 것이다. 아울러, 받침부(150)가 제2커버(130) 또는 보호회로모듈(100) 감싸는 것으로 인해 제2커버(130) 또는 보호회로모듈(100)이 외부 충격으로부터 보호되는 효과 역시 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 구성은 상술한 회로케이스로 구현되는 실시예에서도 동일하게 적용될 수 있다. 즉, 받침부(150)는 회로케이스의 하면에 대응하는 형상을 가지며, 회로케이스의 적어도 일부를 감싸는 형상으로 설계될 수 있다.
또한, 전지모듈은 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)의 결속력, 더 구체적으로는, 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)의 결속력을 위하여 체결부재(140)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 체결부재(140)는 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)를 일거에 관통 체결하도록 설계될 수 있다. 이러한 체결부재(140)는 상술한 제1커버(120) 및 제2커버(130)의 체결부와 동시에 구현되어 견고성을 보다 더 향상시킬 수 있다. 즉, 제2커버(130)는 제1커버(120)와 받침부(150) 사이에서 압착되어 고정될 수 있다. 이러한 체결부재(140)로는 예를 들어, 볼트 및 너트가 고려될 수 있다. 다시 말해, 볼트(140)는 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130)를 일거에 관통하여 받침부(150)의 일측에 제공된 너트와 결합함으로써 보호회로모듈(100)을 받침부(150)에 고정시킬 수 있다. 이 때, 받침부(150)에는 절연층이 형성될 수 있고, 상기 너트는 상기 절연층 상에 형성될 수 있다.
또한, 위와 같은 구성에 의하면, 체결부재(140)는 제2커버(130)의 받침부(150)에 대한 승하강을 안내할 수 있다. 보호회로모듈(100)을 관통한 체결부재(140)가 받침부(150)에 체결되면서 제2커버(130), 더 크게는 보호회로모듈(100)을 하강시켜 받침부(150)에 안치 및 결합시킬 수 있는 것이다. 반대로, 받침부(150)에서 분리시킬 때에는 체결부재(140)를 체결을 해제시켜 제2커버(130)를 상승시킴으로써 보호회로모듈(100)을 받침부(150)로부터 분리시킬 수 있다.
한편, 상기 체결부재(140)는 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)만을 관통하여 체결하는데 그치는 것이 아니라 보호회로모듈(100)을 전지모듈 프레임에 직접적으로 결합시킬 수도 있다. 또한, 볼트 등의 체결부재(140)가 사용될 경우, 체결부재(140)는 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)를 관통 체결함과 동시에 회로부(112)와 셀 신호 출력부의 접점을 형성시켜 회로부(112)와 셀 신호 출력부를 전기적으로 연결시킬 수 있다. 즉, 각 구성들을 조여주면서 접점을 형성시키는 것이다. 이와 같은 구성을 통해 보호회로모듈(100)은 전지모듈 프레임에 슬라이딩하는 방식으로 결합될 수 있다.
상기 체결부재(140)가 각 부재를 관통 체결할 때, 체결부재(140)는 한 개만이 마련될 수 있고, 각 부재의 중앙(후술할 탭이 제공되는 경우에는 탭 배열의 중앙)을 관통할 수 있다. 각 부재의 중앙이 아닌 다른 위치에 여러 개의 체결부재를 사용하는 경우에는 체결력의 균형이 흐트러질 가능성이 있으므로, 체결부재(140)가 중앙을 관통 체결하도록 하는 것을 통해 균형을 유지하면서 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 접속단자(111)를 일거에, 동시에 연결시킬 수 있다.
또한, 체결부재(140)의 관통을 위해 제1커버(120), 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)에는 체결공(125, 115, 135, 150)이 각각 형성되고, 이러한 복수의 체결공(125, 115, 135, 150) 중 적어도 어느 하나에는 복수의 리브가 제공될 수 있다. 이를 설명하기 위해 도 3을 다시 참조한다. 도3에 도시된 바와 같이, 제1커버(120)에 형성된 체결공(125)의 주변부에는 복수의 리브(126)가 방사상으로 형성되어 체결부재(140)를 지지함으로써 체결부재(140)의 체결력에 의한 제1커버(120)의 손상 위험을 제거할 수 있다. 본 실시예에서는 제1커버(120)의 체결공(125)에만 복수의 리브(126)가 제공되는 것으로 설명하나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 기판(110), 제2커버(130) 및 받침부(150)의 체결공(115, 135, 155)에도 동일한 방식의 지지구조가 채용될 수 있다.
도시되지는 않았으나, 체결부재(140) 일단(본 실시예에서는 하단)과 셀 리드 사이에는 절연층이 형성되어 절연거리를 확보할 수 있다. 이로써, 방전 등에 의한 쇼트가 일어나는 것을 방지할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 절연층은 받침부(150) 상에 형성될 수 있고, 보호회로모듈(100)이 받침부(150)에 안치 또는 결합될 때 체결부재(140)의 하단은 절연층 상에 위치하여 셀 리드에 직접적으로 접촉하지 않음으로써 절연거리가 확보될 수 있는 것이다. 또한, 상기 절연층은 상기 받침부(150)와 동일한 재질로 형성될 수 있다.
도 6a 및 6b는 일실시예에 따른 받침부(150)의 사시도이다. 상술한 체결공(151)을 통해 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합될 수 있고, 일측에는 함몰 가이드부(154)가 형성되어 보호회로모듈(100)을 안내하여 안치시킬 수 있다. 이에 관하여는 후술하기로 한다. 또한, 보호회로모듈(100)의 접속단자(111)를 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 결합시키기 위해 접속단자(111)를 노출시키는 접속단자 홀(152)이 형성될 수 있다. 이에 관하여도 후술하기로 한다.
도 7a 및 7b는 일실시예에 따른 전지모듈(200)의 조립 전 모습을 도시한 사시도이다. 이하, 셀 리드가 양방향으로 형성된 전지모듈을 기준으로 설명하나, 후술할 탭을 이용한 결합 방식은 이에만 한정되어 적용되는 것은 아니고, 셀 리드가 동일한 방향으로 형성되는 전지모듈에도 적용이 가능하다. 한편, 셀 리드(160)에 탭(165)이 형성되어 이러한 탭(165)이 접속단자(111)와 결합하는 것으로 설명하나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 버스바(bus-bar)에 탭이 형성될 수도 있다. 예를 들어, 셀 리드에는 별도의 버스바가 제공되고, 버스바 양측에 셀 리드 선이 부착되며, 이러한 버스바의 일측에 탭이 형성될 수 있다. 따라서, 여기에서 말하는 셀 리드(160)는 셀 리드 자체, 나아가 셀 리드 및 셀 리드에 제공되는 버스바를 모두 포함하며, 탭(165) 역시 셀 리드에 형성되는 탭, 나아가 셀 리드에 제공되는 버스바에 형성되는 탭을 모두 포함하는 개념으로 본다.
전지모듈 프레임(1) 측엔 셀 리드(160) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)이 제공된다. 상술한 바와 같이, 받침부(150)는 체결공(151)을 통해 전지모듈 프레임(1)에 고정 결합되며, 보호회로모듈(100)은 상기 받침부(150)에 안치된다. 이 때, 체결부재(140)가 제공되어 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)를 일거에 관통 체결 가능함은 전술한 바와 같다.
셀 리드(160) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)에는 탭(165, 175)이 각각 형성될 수 있고, 이러한 탭(165, 175)이 보호회로모듈(100)의 기판(110)에 장착된 접속단자(111)와 결합하여 접속단자(111)에 셀의 전기적 신호를 송신할 수 있다. 이와 같이 구성되는 전지모듈(200)에 의하면, 용접 또는 솔더링 작업이 필요하지 않고, 탭(165, 175)을 이용하여 간단하게 전지모듈(200)을 조립 및 분해할 수 있다.
또한, 전지모듈 프레임의 일측에 별도로 탭이 마련되고, 이와 같이 마련된 상기 탭 또는 셀 리드가 접속단자(111)와 결합하는 변형예도 가능하다.
접속단자(111)와 탭(165, 175)의 결합 모습을 도 4a, 4b, 6a 및 6b를 함께 참조하여 설명하기로 한다. 보호회로모듈(100)의 제2커버(130)에는 접속단자(111)를 수용하여 보호하는 접속단자 보호부(131)가 형성되고, 이러한 접속단자 보호부(131)에는 접속단자(111)와 셀 리드(160) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)과의 결합을 위한 가이드 슬롯(132)이 형성될 수 있음은 전술한 바와 같다. 받침부(150) 역시, 접속단자(111)에 대응되는 위치에 접속단자 홀(152)이 형성되어 있어, 이러한 접속단자 홀(152)을 통해 접속단자(111)가 외부로 노출되지 않으면서도 셀 리드(160) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)과 연결되는 것이 가능하게 된다. 여기에서, 셀 리드(160)의 탭(165) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)의 탭(175)은 접속단자(111)에 슬라이드 결합을 통해 연결되며, 전기적 신호를 송수신할 수 있다.
도 7c는 전지모듈(200)의 조립이 완성된 후의 정면도를 도시한 것이다. 상술한 바와 같이, 셀 리드(160) 및/또는 센싱모듈(170)의 탭(165, 175)이 보호회로모듈(100)의 접속단자(111)와 결합하는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이와 같은 구성, 즉 블록화한 각 모듈의 위치는 견고하게 유지되어 자동차 등의 가혹 조건에서도 결합 강도를 유지할 수 있고, 이로써 접점이 단락되지 않으므로 센싱 신호를 BMS에 안정적으로 송신할 수 있다.
도 8a 및 8b는 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)가 결합한 모습을 도시한 사시도이다. 보호회로모듈(100)과 받침부(150)는 각각에 형성되는 서로 대응되는 가이드부에 의하여 용이하게 결합될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 보호회로모듈(100)의 제1커버(120)의 일측에는 제1가이드부(124)가 형성될 수 있고, 받침부(150)의 일측에는 이에 대응되는 형상의 제2가이드부(154)가 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 보호회로모듈(100)은 제1가이드부(124)가 제2가이드부(154)에 의해 안내되어 받침부(150)에 안치될 수 있다. 이러한 가이드부(124, 154)를 통해 보호회로모듈(100)(또는 회로케이스)의 조립 방향을 용이하게 구분할 수 있고, 조립 속도를 향상시켜 생산성을 높일 수 있으며, 조립이 되었을 때에는 조립의 완성도 및 내구성을 상승시킬 수 있다. 또한, 본 실시예에서는 제1가이드부(124)가 제1커버(120)에 형성되는 것으로 설명하였으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 제1가이드부(124)는 제2커버(130)의 일측에 형성될 수도 있다.
도 9는 일실시예에 따른 센싱모듈(170)을 도시한 사시도이다. 센싱모듈(170)에는 상술한 탭(175)이 형성되어, 상기 탭(175)이 보호회로모듈(100)과 연결된다. 센싱모듈(170)은 전지모듈 프레임(1)의 일측에 결합하되, 슬라이딩하여 결합할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 전지모듈 프레임(1)에는 센싱모듈(170)을 위한 가이드 레일이 마련되고, 센싱모듈(170)에는 돌기가 마련되어, 상기 돌기가 상기 가이드 레일을 따라서 안내되어 소정의 위치까지 센싱모듈(170)을 이동시킬 수 있고, 상기 소정의 위치에는 상기 돌기와 결합 가능한 후크 등의 체결 수단이 마련되어 돌기와 체결됨으로써, 센싱모듈(170)은 전지모듈 프레임(1)에 고정될 수 있다. 여기에서는 센싱모듈(170)이 보호회로모듈(100)과는 별도로 전지모듈 프레임의 일측에 제공되는 것으로 설명하였으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고, 센싱모듈(170)은 보호회로모듈(100)의 일측에 제공될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 센싱모듈(170)은 보호회로모듈(100)의 일측에 탭(175)을 통해 직접적으로 연결(전지모듈 프레임과는 연결되지 않은 채로)될 수 있고, 또는 보호회로모듈(100) 내의 기판에 장착될 수도 있다.
지금까지, 받침부(150)는 체결공(151)을 통해 전지모듈 프레임(1)에 결합되는 것으로 설명하였으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 다시 말해, 받침부(150)는 전지모듈 프레임(1)과 일체로 형성될 수도 있다. 이러한 경우, 받침부(150)를 별도로 제작할 때에 비하여 제작 비용을 절감할 수 있고, 조립 과정이 보다 더 단순화되어 제작 시간이 단축될 수 있으며, 결합 관계가 간소화되기 때문에 진동, 마모 등의 외부 조건에 대한 내구성이 향상될 수 있다.
이상에서 설명된 실시예는 본 발명의 일부 예를 설명한 것에 불과하고, 본 발명의 권리범위는 설명된 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 이 분야의 통상의 기술자에 의하여 본 발명의 기술적 사상과 특허청구범위 내에서의 다양한 변경, 변형 또는 치환이 가능할 것이며, 그와 같은 실시는 본 발명의 범위에 속하는 것으로 보아야 한다.

  1. 기판;
    상기 기판에 장착되며, 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈로부터 셀의 전기적 신호를 수신하는 접속단자;
    상기 기판에 장착되며, 상기 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과 상기 접속단자를 전기적으로 연결하는 회로부;
    상기 기판의 일면을 덮는 제1커버; 및
    상기 기판이 안치되며, 상기 기판의 타면을 덮는 제2커버;
    를 포함하는 보호회로모듈.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 회로부는 퓨즈, 릴레이, 차단기 및 스위치 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 조합인 보호회로모듈.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1커버 및 제2커버에는 상호 결합을 위한 체결부가 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부는,
    상기 제1커버에 형성되는 걸림돌기; 및
    상기 제2커버에 형성되며, 상기 걸림돌기가 체결되는 후크;

  15. 제12항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 제2커버의 적어도 일부를 감싸도록 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  16. 제12항에 있어서,
    상기 제1커버 또는 상기 제2커버의 일측에 형성되는 제1가이드부; 및
    상기 받침부의 일측에 형성되며, 상기 제1가이드부와 대응되는 제2가이드부;
    를 더 포함하여,
    상기 제2커버와 상기 받침부의 결합은 상기 제1가이드부 및 제2가이드부에 의하여 안내되는 전지모듈.
  17. 기판;
    상기 기판에 장착되는 회로부;
    상기 기판을 덮는 제1커버;
    상기 기판이 안치되는 제2커버; 및
    전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며, 상기 제2커버가 안치되는 받침부;
    를 포함하고,
    상기 제2커버는 상기 제1커버 및 받침부 사이에서 압착되어 고정되는 보호회로모듈.
  18. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 제1커버, 기판, 제2커버 및 받침부를 일거에 체결하는 체결부재를 더 포함하는 보호회로모듈.
  19. 제18항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부재는,
    상기 제1커버, 기판 및 제2커버를 일거에 관통 체결하는 볼트; 및
    상기 받침부에 제공되어 상기 볼트와 결합하는 너트;
    를 포함하는 보호회로모듈.
  20. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 제2커버의 적어도 일부를 감싸도록 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  21. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 회로부는 퓨즈, 릴레이, 차단기 및 스위치 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 조합인 보호회로모듈.
  22. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 기판에 장착되는 데이터 커넥터를 더 포함하고,
    상기 제1커버에는 상기 데이터 커넥터를 상기 기판에 장착하기 위한 데이터 커넥터 삽입 슬롯이 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  23. 제17항에 있어서,
    상기 기판에 장착되며, 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈로부터 셀의 전기적 신호를 수신하는 접속단자를 더 포함하고,
    상기 제2커버에는 상기 접속단자를 보호하기 위해 상기 접속단자를 수용하는 접속단자 보호부가 형성되며,
    상기 접속단자와 상기 셀 리드 및/또는 센싱모듈과의 결합을 위하여 상기 접속단자 보호부와 상기 받침부에는 가이드 슬롯과 접속단자 홀이 각각 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  24. 기판;
    상기 기판에 장착되는 회로부;
    상기 기판을 내부에 수용하는 회로케이스; 및
    전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며, 상기 회로케이스가 안치되는 받침부;
    를 포함하는 보호회로모듈.
  25. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 회로케이스의 하면에 대응하는 형상을 가지는 보호회로모듈.
  26. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 회로케이스의 적어도 일부를 감싸도록 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  27. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 회로케이스는 상하로 분리 가능한 보호회로모듈.
  28. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 회로케이스의 상면에는 외부와의 인터페이스를 위한 제1슬롯이 형성되고, 상기 회로케이스의 하면에는 전지 모듈의 전기적 신호를 수신하기 위한 제2슬롯이 형성되는 보호회로모듈.
  29. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 회로부는 퓨즈, 릴레이, 차단기 및 스위치 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 조합인 보호회로모듈.
  30. 제24항에 있어서,
    상기 회로케이스를 관통하며, 상기 회로케이스 하면 측 일단이 상기 받침부와 결합하는 체결부재를 더 포함하는 보호회로모듈.
  31. 제30항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부 상에 형성되는 절연층을 더 포함하고,
    상기 체결부재의 상기 회로케이스 하면 측 일단은 상기 절연층 상에 위치하는 보호회로모듈.
  32. 제1항에 따른 보호회로모듈; 및
    전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되고, 상기 보호회로모듈이 안치되는 받침부;
    를 포함하는 전지모듈.
  33. 제32항에 있어서,
    상기 센싱모듈 및/또는 셀 리드에는 탭이 형성되어, 상기 탭이 상기 접속단자와 결합하여 상기 셀의 전기적 신호를 상기 접속단자에 송신하는 전지모듈.
  34. 제33항에 있어서,
    상기 접속단자와 상기 탭의 결합을 위하여, 상기 제2커버와 상기 받침부에는 가이드 슬롯과 접속단자 홀이 각각 형성되는 전지모듈.
  35. 제32항에 있어서,
    상기 제1커버, 기판, 제2커버 및 받침부를 일거에 관통 체결하는 체결부재를 더 포함하는 전지모듈.
  36. 제35항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부재는 상기 제1커버, 기판, 제2커버 및 받침부의 중앙을 관통하는 전지모듈.
  37. 제35항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부재의 관통을 위해 상기 제1커버, 기판, 제2커버 및 받침부에 각각 형성되는 복수의 체결공 중 적어도 어느 하나의 주변부에는 복수의 리브가 방사상으로 형성되어 상기 체결부재를 지지하는 전지모듈.
  38. 제32항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 전지모듈 프레임과 일체로 형성되는 전지모듈.
  39. 제32항에 있어서,
    상기 제1커버 또는 상기 제2커버의 일측에 형성되는 제1가이드부; 및
    상기 받침부의 일측에 형성되며, 상기 제1가이드부와 대응되는 제2가이드부;
    를 더 포함하여,
    상기 보호회로모듈은 상기 제1가이드부 및 제2가이드부에 의하여 상기 받침부에 안치되는 전지모듈.
  40. 제32항에 있어서,
    상기 센싱모듈은 상기 전지모듈 프레임에 슬라이딩하여 결합하는 전지모듈.
  41. 복수의 셀 리드를 포함하는 전지모듈에 있어서,
    상기 복수의 셀 리드와 전기적으로 연결되는 복수의 탭;
    상기 복수의 탭 또는 상기 복수의 셀 리드와 슬라이드 결합하는 복수의 접속단자와, 회로부를 포함하는 보호회로모듈; 및
    상기 복수의 탭의 배열의 중앙에서 상기 보호회로모듈을 전지모듈 프레임에 고정시키는 체결부재;
    를 포함하는 전지모듈.
  42. 제41항에 있어서,
    상기 회로부는 퓨즈, 릴레이, 차단기 및 스위치 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 조합인 전지모듈.
  43. 제41항에 있어서,
    상기 보호회로모듈에는 상기 회로부의 교체를 위한 회로부 삽입 슬롯이 형성되는 전지모듈.
  44. 제41항에 있어서,
    복수의 셀의 전기적 신호를 감지하는 센싱모듈을 더 포함하고,
    상기 복수의 탭 중 일부는 상기 센싱모듈에 형성되는 전지모듈.
  45. 제44항에 있어서,
    상기 센싱모듈은 상기 보호회로모듈의 일측에 제공되는 전지모듈.
  46. 제41항에 있어서,
    상기 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되고, 상기 보호회로모듈이 안치되는 받침부를 더 포함하는 전지모듈.
  47. 제46항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 보호회로모듈의 적어도 일부를 감싸도록 형성되는 전지모듈.
  48. 셀의 전기적 신호를 송신하는 셀 신호 출력부와, 상기 셀 신호 출력부와 접점을 통해 전기적으로 연결되는 회로부를 포함하는 보호회로모듈; 및
    상기 셀 신호 출력부와 상기 회로부의 접점을 형성시키며, 동시에 상기 보호회로모듈을 전지모듈 프레임에 고정시키는 체결부재;
    를 포함하는 전지모듈.
  49. 제48항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부재는 상기 보호회로모듈의 중앙에 배치되며, 상기 보호회로모듈은 상기 체결부재의 체결에 의해 상기 전지모듈 프레임에 슬라이딩 결합하는 전지모듈.
  50. 제48항에 있어서,
    상기 보호회로모듈 및 전지모듈 프레임 사이에 위치하고, 상기 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며, 상기 보호회로모듈이 안치되는 받침부를 더 포함하는 전지모듈.
  51. 제50항에 있어서,
    상기 받침부는 상기 보호회로모듈의 적어도 일부를 감싸도록 형성되는 전지모듈.
  52. 제48항에 있어서,
    상기 셀 신호 출력부는 상기 셀의 전기적 신호를 감지하는 센싱모듈을 포함하는 전지모듈.
  53. 제52항에 있어서,
    상기 센싱모듈은 상기 보호회로모듈의 일측에 위치하는 전지모듈.
  54. 셀의 전기적 신호를 송신하는 셀 신호 출력부와, 상기 셀 신호 출력부에 전기적으로 연결되는 회로부를 포함하는 보호회로모듈;
    상기 보호회로모듈을 전지모듈 프레임에 결합시키는 체결부재; 및
    상기 체결부재의 일단과 셀 리드 사이에 형성되는 절연층;
    을 포함하는 전지모듈.
  55. 제54항에 있어서,
    상기 체결부재는 상기 보호회로모듈의 중앙에 배치되며, 상기 보호회로모듈은 상기 체결부재의 체결에 의해 상기 전지모듈 프레임에 슬라이딩 결합하는 전지모듈.
  56. 제54항에 있어서,
    상기 보호회로모듈 및 전지모듈 프레임 사이에 위치하고, 상기 전지모듈 프레임에 고정 결합되며, 상기 보호회로모듈이 안치되는 받침부를 더 포함하고,
    상기 절연층은 상기 받침부 상에 형성되는 전지모듈.
  57. 제54항에 있어서,
    상기 셀 신호 출력부는 상기 셀의 전기적 신호를 감지하는 센싱모듈을 포함하는 전지모듈.
  58. 셀의 전기적 신호를 송신하는 셀 신호 출력부와, 상기 셀 신호 출력부와 접점을 통해 전기적으로 연결되는 회로부를 포함하는 보호회로모듈; 및
    상기 보호회로모듈을 전지모듈 프레임에 결합시키는 체결부재;
    를 포함하고,
    상기 셀 신호 출력부와 상기 회로부의 접점은 상기 보호회로모듈의 내부에 위치하는 전지모듈.
  59. 제59항에 있어서,
    상기 회로부는 퓨즈, 릴레이, 차단기 및 스위치 중 어느 하나 또는 둘 이상의 조합인 전지모듈.
  60. 제59항에 있어서,
    상기 셀 신호 출력부는 상기 셀의 전기적 신호를 감지하는 센싱모듈을 포함하는 전지모듈.
