Abstract

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Carbonsäuren und/oder Carbonsäureanhydriden durch Gasphasenoxidation von aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen, bei dem man einen Gasstrom, der mindestens einen aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoff und molekularen Sauerstoff umfasst, kontinuierlich über einen durch ein Wärmeträgermedium thermostatisierten Katalysator leitet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Temperatur des Wärmeträgermediums während des Anfahrens des Reaktors für mindestens 24 Stunden konstant gehalten wird und währenddessen weder die Beladung des Gasstroms mit Kohlenwasserstoffen noch das Gasstromvolumen um mehr als 3 % erhöht werden.
