ステアリング装置
 この発明は、ステアリング装置に関する。
 車両が他の車両等の障害物にぶつかると、そのときの一次衝突に続いて、運転者がステアリングホイール(操舵部材)にぶつかる二次衝突が発生することがある。ステアリング装置では、二次衝突時の衝撃を吸収するために、ステアリングコラムの一部を車体から離脱させてコラム軸方向(車体前方)に移動させる構造が種々提案されている。
 例えば、特許文献1のステアリングコラム用支持装置では、車体に固定された車体側ブラケットに、コラム軸方向に平行に延びる係止切欠きが設けられている。係止切欠きには、係止カプセルが嵌め込まれていて、係止カプセルは、複数の係止ピンによって車体側ブラケットに対して位置決めされている。そして、ステアリングホイールを保持するコラム側ブラケットが、ボルトによって係止カプセルに連結されている。
 二次衝突時には、複数の係止ピンが破断することによって、係止カプセルが、車体側ブラケットから解放され、コラム側ブラケットを伴って係止切欠きに沿って移動する。これによって、二次衝突時の衝撃吸収(EA:Energy Absorption)が達成される。

 特許文献1のステアリングコラム用支持装置では、二次衝突時に、係止カプセルが車体側ブラケットにおける係止切欠きの周縁部に対して摺擦する。二次衝突時の衝撃を円滑に吸収するためには、係止カプセルと前記周縁部との間の摩擦を低減させる構成を用いることが考えられるが、当該構成をステアリングコラム用支持装置において容易に組み付けることができると好ましい。また、当該構成を用いる場合において、二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重(EA荷重ともいい、係止カプセルの移動に応じて吸収される二次衝突での衝撃荷重)を安定させることができると、二次衝突時の衝撃吸収を促進するうえで、好ましい。
 この発明は、かかる背景のもとでなされたものであり、二次衝突時に衝撃吸収のために相対移動する1対の部材間の摩擦を低減させる構成の組み付け性の向上と、当該構成を用いる場合における二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化との両立を図ることができるステアリング装置を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明の有利な局面によれば、車体(13)に固定される固定ブラケット(23)と、前記固定ブラケットに対向する対向面(32A)を有し、操舵部材(2)に連結されており、二次衝突時には、操舵部材を伴って、所定の移動方向(Z1)における下流側へ向けて前記固定ブラケットに対して相対移動するよう構成された可動ブラケット(24)と、前記可動ブラケットに組み付けられ、二次衝突時には、前記対向面と前記固定ブラケットとの間に介在された状態で前記可動ブラケットと一体移動するよう構成されたスライド部材(89)と、を含み、前記スライド部材は、前記対向面において前記移動方向における全域に亘って設けられ、前記対向面と前記固定ブラケットとの間に差し込まれていて、二次衝突時には前記固定ブラケットに摺擦するよう構成された本体部(90)と、前記本体部において前記移動方向における下流側端部(90A)から折れ曲がっていて、前記移動方向における下流側から前記可動ブラケットに引っ掛かる留め部(91)と、を含む、ステアリング装置(1)が供される。
 前記可動ブラケットは、前記対向面を有する板状部(32)と、前記板状部において前記移動方向に対する直交方向(Y1)における両側から同じ方向に屈曲した一対の屈曲部(41)と、を含んでもよい。前記直交方向における前記本体部の最大寸法(M)は、前記一対の屈曲部の最大間隔(N)よりも大きくてもよい。
 前記留め部は、前記留め部の前記本体部側とは反対側の先端部を、前記移動方向における上流側へ折り曲げることによって形成され、前記一対の屈曲部の間に配置されつつ、前記本体部との間で前記板状部を挟む挟持部(95)を含んでもよい。
 前記直交方向における前記挟持部の一端縁(95A)および他端縁(95B)の間隔(K)は、前記一対の屈曲部と前記板状部との境界における前記一対の屈曲部の間隔(L)と同じであってもよい。
 前記スライド部材および前記可動ブラケットのうち一方に凸部(100)が設けられてもよい。他方に、前記凸部が嵌め込まれる凹部(101)が設けられていてもよい。
 前記固定ブラケットから延びて前記可動ブラケットを吊る吊り部材(25)を含んでもよい。前記スライド部材には、前記吊り部材を通す切り欠き部(93)が形成されていてもよい。
 前記スライド部材において前記固定ブラケットに摺擦する部分には、導電性摩擦低減材(200)が設けられていてもよい。
 なお、上記において、括弧内の数字等は、後述する実施形態における対応構成要素の参照符号を表すものであるが、これらの参照符号により特許請求の範囲を限定する趣旨ではない。
 本発明によれば、このステアリング装置では、二次衝突時には、可動ブラケットが移動方向における下流側へ向けて固定ブラケットに対して相対移動することによって、二次衝突時における衝撃を吸収することができる。
 ここで、可動ブラケットに組み付けられたスライド部材が、可動ブラケットの対向面と固定ブラケットとの間に介在された状態で可動ブラケットと一体移動するので、可動ブラケットと固定ブラケットとの間の摩擦を低減させることができる。
 このようなスライド部材は、可動ブラケットの対向面と固定ブラケットとの間に差し込まれる本体部と、本体部において移動方向における下流側端部から折れ曲がった留め部とを含んでいる。
 本体部は、可動ブラケットの対向面において移動方向における全域に亘って設けられている。これにより、可動ブラケットの対向面と固定ブラケットとの間隔が移動方向における全域に亘って一定となった状態で維持されている。よって、二次衝突時には、当該間隔が常に一定の状態で、可動ブラケットが、固定ブラケットに対して急に姿勢を崩すことなく、安定して相対移動できるので、二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化を図ることができる。
 留め部は、移動方向における下流側から可動ブラケットに引っ掛かっている。そのため、スライド部材を可動ブラケットに対して移動方向に位置決めできるだけでなく、二次衝突時には、スライド部材を、必ず、移動方向における下流側へ向けて可動ブラケットと一体移動させることができる。そして、留め部が可動ブラケットに引っ掛かるように本体部を可動ブラケットの対向面に載せるだけで、可動ブラケットにスライド部材を容易に組み付けることができる。よって、スライド部材の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。
 以上のように、このステアリング装置によれば、二次衝突時に衝撃吸収のために相対移動する1対の部材間(可動ブラケットと固定ブラケットとの間)の摩擦を低減させる構成(スライド部材)の組み付け性の向上と、当該構成を用いる場合における二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化との両立を図ることができる。
 本発明によれば、直交方向における本体部の最大寸法が可動ブラケットにおける一対の屈曲部の最大間隔よりも大きいので、スライド部材を間違って一対の屈曲部の間に組み込むことは物理的に不可能である。そのため、本体部が可動ブラケットの板状部の対向面に載るように、可動ブラケットにスライド部材を正しく組み付けることができる。よって、スライド部材の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。
 本発明によれば、留め部の先端部に形成した挟持部と本体部との間で可動ブラケットの板状部を挟むことによって、留め部を可動ブラケットに確実に引っ掛けることができる。
 本発明によれば、直交方向における挟持部の一端縁と他端縁との間隔(複数の挟持部が直交方向に並んでいる場合は、直交方向両端に位置する1対の挟持部の外側端縁同士の間隔)は、一対の屈曲部と板状部との境界における一対の屈曲部の間隔と同じである。そのため、挟持部を可動ブラケットにおける一対の屈曲部の間に配置しさえすれば、スライド部材を可動ブラケットに対して直交方向に位置決めでき、その後のスライド部材の(直交方向における位置の)微調整も不要となる。よって、スライド部材の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。
 本発明によれば、凸部を凹部に嵌め込むことによって、スライド部材と可動ブラケットとを互いに位置決めすることができる。
 本発明によれば、スライド部材の切り欠き部に吊り部材を通すことによって、スライド部材を、吊り部材との干渉を避けて可動ブラケットに組み付けることができる。
 本発明によれば、導電性摩擦低減材が設けられたスライド部材によって、固定ブラケットと可動ブラケットとの間における通電性を確保しつつ、二次衝突時には固定ブラケットに対する可動ブラケットの円滑な相対移動を達成することができる。

 以下では、本発明の実施形態を、添付図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
 図1は、本発明の一実施形態におけるステアリング装置1の模式的側面図であり、ステアリング装置1の概略構成を示している。なお、図1における左側が、ステアリング装置1および(ステアリング装置1が取り付けられる)車体の前側であり、図1における右側が、ステアリング装置1および車体の後側である。また、図1における上側が、ステアリング装置1および車体の上側であり、図1における下側が、ステアリング装置1および車体の下側である。
 図1を参照して、ステアリング装置1は、ステアリングホイール等の操舵部材2に連結されて前後方向に延びるステアリングシャフト3と、ステアリングシャフト3に自在継手4を介して連結された中間軸5と、中間軸5に自在継手6を介して連結されたピニオン軸7と、ラック軸8と、ステアリングコラム15とを主に備えている。
 ピニオン軸7の端部(下端部)の近傍には、ピニオン7Aが設けられていて、ラック軸8のラック8Aと噛み合っている。ピニオン軸7およびラック軸8を含むラックアンドピニオン機構によって、操舵機構A1が構成されている。ラック軸8は、車体側部材(車体そのもの、または車体に固定された部材をいい、以下同じ)9に固定されたハウジング10によって支持されている。ラック軸8は、車両の幅方向である車幅方向(紙面とは直交する方向)に移動可能である。ラック軸8の各端部は、図示しないタイロッドおよびナックルアームを介して、転舵輪(車輪)に連結されている。
 ステアリングシャフト3は、例えばスプライン結合を用いて、同行回転可能に且つ軸方向X1に相対移動可能に連結されたアッパーシャフト11およびロアーシャフト12を含んでいる。ステアリングシャフト3は、車体側部材13,14に固定されたステアリングコラム15によって、軸受(アッパーベアリング75、ロアーベアリング76)を介して回転可能に支持されている。
 ステアリングコラム15は、ステアリングシャフト3の軸方向X1に相対移動可能に嵌め合わされた筒状のアッパージャケット16およびロアージャケット17と、ロアージャケット17の軸方向X1における一端(下端)に連結されたハウジング18とを備えている。ステアリングシャフト3では、前端部(下端部でもある)と後端部(上端部でもある)との間の途中部分が、ステアリングコラム15内に収容されている。ハウジング18は、ロアーベアリング76を介してロアーシャフト12に連結されている。アッパージャケット16は、アッパーベアリング75を介してアッパーシャフト11に連結されており、アッパーシャフト11を伴って軸方向X1に移動することができる、アッパージャケット16をロアージャケット17に対して軸方向X1に相対移動させることによって、ステアリングコラム15およびステアリングシャフト3のテレスコピック調整が可能となる。
 ハウジング18内には、操舵補助用の電動モータ19の動力を減速してロアーシャフト12に伝達する減速機構20が収容されている。減速機構20は、電動モータ19の回転軸(図示せず)と同行回転可能に連結された駆動ギヤ21と、駆動ギヤ21に噛み合ってロアーシャフト12と同行回転する被動ギヤ22とを有している。
 操舵部材2を回転させることによって操舵すると、操舵部材2の回転は、ステアリングシャフト3、自在継手4、中間軸5、自在継手6およびピニオン軸7に対してこの順番で伝達され、ラック軸8の車幅方向における直線移動へと変換される。これにより、転舵輪の転舵が達成される。また、必要に応じて、電動モータ19が駆動されて、ステアリングシャフト3の回転が補助されるので、操舵部材2の操舵が補助される。
 このように、本実施の形態では、ステアリング装置1が電動パワーステアリング装置に適用された例に則して説明しているが、本発明を、電動モータ19による操舵の補助が省略されたマニュアルステアリング装置に適用してもよい。
 そして、車体側部材14に固定されたロアーブラケット59が、ピボット軸であるチルト中心軸36を支持している。チルト中心軸36は、ステアリングコラム15のハウジング18を介して、ステアリングコラム15全体を、当該チルト中心軸36の回りに揺動可能に支持している。ステアリングコラム15を揺動させることによって、チルト調整が可能となる。なお、本発明は、テレスコピック調整機能およびチルト調整機能の両方を有するステアリング装置だけでなく、どちらかの調整機能だけを有するステアリング装置にも適用可能である。
 次に、ステアリング装置1における車体側部材13の周辺について説明する。ここで、前述した前後上下方向や軸方向X1に加えて、軸方向X1に対する直交方向である左右方向Y1(前述した車幅方向と同じ)を用いて説明を行うことにする。
 概略断面図である図2に示すように、ステアリング装置1は、車体側部材13に固定された固定ブラケット23と、アッパージャケット16に連結された可動ブラケット24と、一対の吊り下げ機構T1,T2とをさらに含んでいる。固定ブラケット23は、吊り下げ機構T1,T2を介して可動ブラケット24を吊り下げている。換言すれば、固定ブラケット23は、可動ブラケット24に連結されたアッパージャケット16を吊り下げている。
 次に、ステアリング装置1の分解斜視図である図3も参照して、固定ブラケット23、可動ブラケット24および吊り下げ機構T1,T2等について説明する。なお、図3では、左上側が、ステアリング装置1の前側であり、右下側が、ステアリング装置1の後側である。
 固定ブラケット23は、アッパーブラケットともいい、例えば板金等により形成されている。固定ブラケット23は、軸方向X1および左右方向Y1の両方に沿って延びる平板状の第1板30と、第1板30の一対の側縁(左右方向Y1における外側縁)からそれぞれ下向きに延設された一対の側板37と、一対の側板37からそれぞれ(左右方向Y1における)外側方へ延設された一対の取付板38とを備えている。第1板30の上面30Aおよび下面30Bは、軸方向X1および左右方向Y1の両方に沿って平坦である。各取付板38に形成されたねじ挿通孔39に対して下から挿通された金属製の固定ボルト40(図5参照)によって、各取付板38が、車体側部材13に固定されている(図2参照)。これにより、固定ブラケット23が車体側部材13に固定されている。
 可動ブラケット24は、チルトブラケットともいい、固定ブラケット23と同様に、板金等により形成されている。可動ブラケット24は、第1板30と平行に延びる平板状の第2板32(板状部)と、第2板32の一対の側縁(左右方向Y1における外側縁)から下向きに延設された一対の側板41とを含んでおり、上下が逆になったU字状をなしている。このように、一対の側板41は、第2板32において左右方向Y1における両側(厳密には、両端部)から同じ方向に屈曲した一対の屈曲部となっている。第2板32は、軸方向X1に延びる2辺と左右方向Y1に延びる2辺とを有する略矩形状(図3では略正方形状)をなしている。第2板32の上面32Aは、平面視で第2板32と一致する略矩形状であり、上面32Aの全域は、軸方向X1および左右方向Y1の両方に沿って平坦である。可動ブラケット24は、固定ブラケット23の真下に位置していて、固定ブラケット23の第1板30に対して可動ブラケット24の第2板32の上面32Aが下から対向配置されている。つまり、第2板32の上面32Aは、可動ブラケット24において固定ブラケット23に対向する対向面となっている。第2板32と各側板41との連結部70は、図3に示すように左右方向Y1における外方へ張り出した湾曲状に形成されていてもよい。
 そして、図1および図2に示すように、ステアリング装置1は、ロック機構29を備えている。簡単に説明すると、ロック機構29は、運転者等による操作レバー27の操作に応じて左右方向Y1に移動する締付軸28によって、可動ブラケット24を介して、コラムジャケット26の位置をロックしたり、そのロックを解除したりする。これにより、ロック機構29は、アッパージャケット16および操舵部材2の位置をロックしたり、そのロックを解除したりする。
 ロック機構29に関連して、図2に示すように、ステアリングコラム15のアッパージャケット16には、前述したコラムジャケット26が固定されている。コラムジャケット26は、可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41の内側で側板41にそれぞれ対向する一対の側板71と、一対の側板71の下端間を連結する連結板72とを備えたU字状をなしている。
 前述した締付軸28は、可動ブラケット24およびコラムジャケット26の側板41,71を左右方向Y1において貫通するボルトで構成されている。そのため、アッパージャケット16に固定されたコラムジャケット26と、可動ブラケット24とは、締付軸28を介して連結されている。また、前述したように、操舵部材2がアッパーシャフト11に連結されて、アッパージャケット16がアッパーシャフト11に連結されているので(図1参照)、操舵部材2とアッパージャケット16とは連結されている。アッパージャケット16は、アッパーベアリング75を介してアッパーシャフト11に連結されている。よって、可動ブラケット24が操舵部材2に連結されていることがわかる。
 そして、締付軸28に螺合するナット73を、操作レバー27の回転操作によって回転させることにより、締付軸28におけるボルトの頭部28Aとナット73との間に、両側板41,71を締め付け、両側板41,71をロックする。これにより、テレスコピック調整やチルト調整後の操舵部材2の位置をロックできる。一方、操作レバー27を逆向きに回転操作すると、両側板41,71の締め付け(ロック)が解除されるので、テレスコピック調整やチルト調整が可能となる。
 図3に示すように、固定ブラケット23の第1板30には、軸方向X1(前後方向)に沿って直線状に延びる長溝31が、プレス加工での打ち抜きや切削等によって形成されている。一方、可動ブラケット24の第2板32には、挿通孔33が形成されている。長溝31および挿通孔33のそれぞれは、一対の吊り下げ機構T1,T2に対応して一対ずつ設けられている。
 一対の長溝31は、第1板30を板厚方向に貫通しつつ、互いに平行な状態で左右方向Y1に間隔を隔てて並んでいる。ステアリング装置1を上方から見た平面視において、軸方向X1における各長溝31の両端部(前端部31Aおよび後端部31Bの両方)は、円弧状に丸められている。
 また、第1板30には、1対の長溝31を仕切る境界部分35が一体的に設けられている。境界部分35は、固定ブラケット23の一部として1対の長溝31の間で軸方向X1に沿って帯状に延びている。軸方向X1における境界部分35の一端部(後端部)には、境界部分35(第1板30)を板厚方向に貫通する第1貫通孔66が形成されている。第1貫通孔66と各長溝31との左右方向Y1における間隔は等しい。
 一対の挿通孔33は、第2板32を板厚方向に貫通する丸孔であって、左右方向Y1に間隔を隔てて並んでおり、左右方向Y1で同じ位置にある長溝31の一部に対して下から対向している。つまり、1対の挿通孔33は、1対の長溝31のそれぞれに対して1つずつ対向している。第2板32において左右方向Y1における1対の挿通孔33の間には、第2板32を板厚方向に貫通する第2貫通孔67が形成されている。第2貫通孔67と各挿通孔33との左右方向Y1における間隔は等しい。なお、第1貫通孔66および第2貫通孔67は、後述するピン61が挿通される孔であり、詳しくは、後述する。
 そして、二次衝突時以外の通常状態では、(可動ブラケット24における)1対の挿通孔33は、(固定ブラケット23における)1対の長溝31のそれぞれの一端部(後端部31B)に対して1つずつ対向している(図1参照)。
 各吊り下げ機構T1,T2は、吊り部材25と、皿ばね等の板ばね42と、ナット34と、スライドプレート43とによって構成されている。吊り部材25、板ばね42およびナット34のそれぞれは、吊り下げ機構T1,T2に応じて1対(2つ)ずつ設けられていて、左右方向Y1に並んで配置されている。
 吊り部材25は、上下に延びて上端に頭部52を有するボルトである。各吊り部材25は、対向状態にある(第1板30の)長溝31の後端部31Bおよび(第2板32の)挿通孔33に対して上から1本ずつ挿通されている。そして、各吊り部材25の下端部は、ナット34に螺合している。これにより、各吊り部材25は、ナット34と共同して第1板30と第2板32とを連結しており、固定ブラケット23から延びて可動ブラケット24を吊り下げている(図2参照)。換言すれば、各吊り部材25は、コラムジャケット26およびアッパージャケット16を吊り下げている。
 また、図1を参照して、各吊り部材25は、二次衝突時に、長溝31に沿って、可動ブラケット24、コラムジャケット26、アッパージャケット16、アッパーシャフト11および操舵部材2と共に、軸方向X1における前側へ移動することができる。可動ブラケット24、コラムジャケット26、アッパージャケット16、アッパーシャフト11および操舵部材2を「可動部材」と総称する。このとき、長溝31は、二次衝突時における吊り部材25の移動をガイドしている。また、このとき、可動ブラケット24は、操舵部材2を伴って、軸方向X1に沿って固定ブラケット23に対して前側へ向けて相対移動する。ここで、二次衝突時での可動ブラケット24の移動方向に、符号「Z1」を付すことにすると、軸方向X1と移動方向Z1とは平行であって、軸方向X1における前側とは、所定の移動方向Z1における下流側ということになる。なお、吊り部材25および前記可動部材が円滑に移動できるように、必要に応じて、ステアリングコラム15のハウジング18が車体側のロアーブラケット59から外れてもよい。
 そして、前述したスライドプレート43は、左右方向Y1に長手の薄板であり、図2に示すように、第1板30と板厚方向が一致した状態で、両板ばね42と第1板30の上面30Aとの間に介在している。スライドプレート43の少なくとも第1板30側の面の全域には、例えばフッ素樹脂や四フッ化エチレン樹脂等の摩擦低減材81が設けられている(後述する図6および図7も参照)。このスライドプレート43の少なくとも第1板30側の面は、下面であり、摺動面43Aである。なお、スライドプレート43全体が摩擦低減材81で形成されていてもよいし、スライドプレート43の摺動面43Aだけが摩擦低減材81で被覆されていてもよい。スライドプレート43では、可動ブラケット24における1対の挿通孔33のそれぞれと対向する位置に、スライドプレート43を板厚方向に貫通する第2挿通孔44が1つずつ形成されている。これらの第2挿通孔44は、左右方向Y1に並んでいる。すなわち、1対の第2挿通孔44が、左右方向Y1において同じ位置に形成されている。
 各吊り部材25は、環状の板ばね42と、スライドプレート43の対応する第2挿通孔44と、第1板30の対応する長溝31と、第2板32の対応する挿通孔33とに対して、この順で上から挿通されて、第2板32の下方のナット34にねじ込まれている。これにより、各吊り部材25が可動ブラケット24を吊り下げている。
 二次衝突時には、吊り部材25が固定ブラケット23の長溝31に沿って可動ブラケット24と共に移動し、その際、スライドプレート43は、固定ブラケット23に対して前側(移動方向Z1における下流側)へ摺動することによって1対の吊り部材25と共に移動可能である。スライドプレート43では、前述した摺動面43Aが、固定ブラケット23の第1板30の上面30Aに対して摺動する。
 ここで、ステアリング装置1は、二次衝突時における固定ブラケット23の第1板30と可動ブラケット24の第2板32との間の摩擦(摺動抵抗)を低減するためのスライド部材89をさらに含んでいる。なお、説明の便宜上、スライド部材89の図示が省略された図(図1等)がある。スライド部材89は、図3に示すように、本体部90と、折曲部91(留め部)とを一体的に含んでいる。スライド部材89の説明に当たり、図4も参照する。図4では、紙面における左下側が、ステアリング装置1の前側であり、右上側が、ステアリング装置1の後側である。また、スライド部材89は、後述するように可動ブラケット24に対して組み付けられるのだが、図4では、説明の便宜上、組み付け前のスライド部材89を実線で示していて、組み付け後のスライド部材89を点線で示している。
 本体部90は、第1板30および第2板32のそれぞれと平行に配置される薄板状である。本体部90を板厚方向から見たときの形状は、第2板32を板厚方向から見たときの後端部分を除く輪郭を縁取るU字状をなしている。この∪字状は、後側へ向けて開放されたU字状となる。図3におけるスライド部材89の姿勢を基準として、本体部90において、左端縁および右端縁は、軸方向X1に沿って平行に延びており、本体部90を板厚方向から見たときの輪郭における左右1対の辺をなしている。また、本体部90において、前端縁および後端縁は、左右方向Y1に沿ってほぼ平行に延びており、本体部90の前記輪郭における前後1対の辺をなしている。ただし、当該後端縁は、左右方向Y1における中央において途切れている。
 ここで、本体部90では、前端部に、符号「90A」を付し、左端部に、符号「90B」を付し、右端部に、符号「90C」を付すことにする。
 前端部90Aは、本体部90において、前述した移動方向Z1における下流側端部であり、左右方向Y1に沿って延びる帯状をなしている。左端部90Bは、本体部90において、左右方向Y1(移動方向Z1に対する直交方向)における一端部であり、軸方向X1に沿って前端部90Aから後側へ延びる帯状をなしている。右端部90Cは、本体部90において、左右方向Y1における他端部であり、軸方向X1に沿って前端部90Aから後側へ延びる帯状をなしている。軸方向X1において、左端部90Bと右端部90Cとは互いに等しい寸法を有している。そして、前端部90A、左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cによって、本体部90が、前述したU字状をなしている。
 また、本体部90には、切り欠き部93が形成されている。切り欠き部93は、本体部90の前述したU字状の内側部分をなしていて、前端部90A、左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cによって囲まれた空間である。切り欠き部93は、本体部90の後端縁の左右方向Y1における中央(前述したように途切れた部分)から前側へ向けて本体部90を切り欠いていて、前端部90Aの手前まで到達している。左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cのそれぞれにおいて切り欠き部93を縁取る部分には、左右方向Y1における外側へ向けて円弧状に窪む窪み94が形成されている。窪み94は、左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cのそれぞれにおいて軸方向X1で同じ位置に1つずつ設けられており、切り欠き部93の一部となっている。
 折曲部91は、図4に示すように、左右方向Y1における前端部90Aの両端側に1つずつ(合計2つ)設けられている。折曲部91は、両端縁よりも左右方向Y1において少し内側に設けられている。各折曲部91は、前端部90Aから前側へ少し延び出てから、本体部90と略直角となるように、前端部90Aから下方へ折れ曲がっている。なお、各折曲部91において前端部90Aから前側へ延び出た部分を、本体部90(前端部90A)の一部とみなしてもよい。各折曲部91は、鉤形フック形状である。折曲部91の板厚は、本体部90の板厚と同じである。また、各折曲部91では、本体部90側とは反対側の先端部(図4における下端部)が、後側(移動方向Z1における上流側)へ折り曲げられている。この先端部を、挟持部95ということにすると、挟持部95は、本体部90と平行に延びており、本体部90の前端部90Aに対して、隙間(第2板32の板厚に相当する)を隔てて下から対向している。
 以上のようなスライド部材89は、左右方向Y1における中心を基準として左右対称な形状を有している。
 ここで、複数(ここでは左右2つ)の挟持部95を1つの挟持部95とみなし、左右方向Y1における当該1つの挟持部95の一端縁95Aおよび他端縁95Bを定義する。この実施形態において、一端縁95Aは、実際は2つ存在する挟持部95における左側(図4では右側)の挟持部95の左端縁であり、他端縁95Bは、右側(図4では左側)の挟持部95の右端縁である。または、一端縁95Aを、右側の挟持部95の右端縁とし、他端縁95Bを、左側の挟持部95の左端縁としてもよい。いずれにせよ、左右方向Y1における挟持部95の一端縁95Aおよび他端縁95Bの間隔Kは、可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41と第2板32との境界における一対の側板41の間隔Lと同じである。厳密には、間隔Kは、間隔Lより若干小さくてもよい。一方で、左右方向Y1における本体部90の最大寸法Mは、一対の側板41の最大間隔Nよりも大きい。最大間隔Nは、前述した連結部70における間隔であり、間隔L以上の大きさを有する。
 また、本体部90の軸方向X1における寸法Pは、前端部90Aと左端部90Bとのまとまりの軸方向X1における寸法であるし、前端部90Aと右端部90Cとのまとまりの軸方向X1における寸法でもある。ここで、前端部90Aは折曲部91において前端部90Aから前側へ延び出ている部分も含む。この寸法Pは、前述した可動ブラケット24の第2板32の上面32Aの軸方向X1における寸法Q以上である。
 このようなスライド部材89は、1枚の薄板に切り欠き部93を形成してから、当該薄板に折曲加工を施して折曲部91(挟持部95も含む)を形成することによって、1ピース構造(複数の部品に分離していない構造)の部品として製造される。なお、各折曲部91における折れ曲がり部分には、R面取り部分96が自然に形成されている。R面取り部分96は、当該折れ曲がり部分の角を丸める円弧状をなしている。また、スライド部材89の縁は、尖らないように、丸められている。ここで、特に、本体部90の上面90Dの前端縁や切り欠き部93における縁が、尖らないように、丸められている。
 そして、スライド部材89は、図4に示すように、各折曲部91が下を向いた状態で、可動ブラケット24の第2板32に対して真上から組み付けられる。組み付け後のスライド部材89(点線部分)では、本体部90が、第2板32の輪郭と平面視でほぼ重なるように、第2板32に上から載っていて、第2板32の上面32Aに沿っている。前述したように、スライド部材89の本体部90の軸方向X1における寸法Pは、第2板32の上面32Aの軸方向X1における寸法Q以上であるので、この状態のスライド部材89の本体部90は、上面32Aにおいて軸方向X1(移動方向Z1)における全域に亘って設けられている。
 また、本体部90は、左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cにおいて、左右方向Y1における上面32Aの両端部に載っている。そして、本体部90では、切り欠き部93から、第2板32の第2貫通孔67および両方の挿通孔33が完全に露出されている。各挿通孔33は、切り欠き部93における(左右方向Y1で同じ位置にある)窪み94に対して、左右方向Y1における内側から嵌まり込んでいる。そして、左右の折曲部91が、前側(前述した移動方向Z1における下流側)から可動ブラケット24(第2板32の前端部321)に引っ掛かっている。また、各折曲部91の先端の挟持部95が、可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41の間に配置されつつ、本体部90の前端部90Aとの間で第2板32の前端部321を挟んでいる(後述する図6および図7も参照)。
 また、スライド部材89では、少なくとも本体部90の上面90Dの全域に、前述した摩擦低減材81が設けられている。摩擦低減材81は、各折曲部91において本体部90から前側へ延び出た部分の上面も含む上面90Dの全域に設けられている。もちろん、スライド部材89全体が、摩擦低減材81で構成されていてもよい。
 図2を参照して、前述したように各吊り部材25が固定ブラケット23から延びて可動ブラケット24を吊り下げている状態において、可動ブラケット24に組み付けられたスライド部材89では、本体部90が、可動ブラケット24の第2板32の上面32Aと固定ブラケット23の第1板30との間に差し込まれている。本体部90では、上面90Dが、摩擦低減材81を介して第1板30の下面30Bに対して下から面接触している。そのため、第2板32(可動ブラケット24)の上面32Aと第1板30(固定ブラケット23)の下面30Bとの間には、スライド部材89が常に介在された状態となっていて、可動ブラケット24と固定ブラケット23とは直接接触していない。
 次に、図3を参照して、吊り部材25について詳説すると、各吊り部材25は、前述したフランジ状の頭部52と、頭部52に連なり頭部52より小径の大径部53と、大径部53に連なり大径部53より小径の小径部54と、大径部53と小径部54との間に形成された段部55と、小径部54に設けられたねじ部56とを一体的に備えている。頭部52には、例えば六角孔形状の工具係合部57が設けられている。
 二次衝突時以外の通常状態において、図2に示すように、各吊り部材25では、頭部52が板ばね42に上から係合している。また、各吊り部材25では、大径部53が、板ばね42の中空部分と、スライドプレート43の第2挿通孔44と、長溝31の後端部31Bとに対して上から挿通されている。これにより、スライドプレート43は、各吊り部材25の頭部52と固定ブラケット23(長溝31の縁)との間に介在された状態となっている。段部55は、スライド部材89の切り欠き部93を通って、第2板32の上面32Aに当接し、上面32Aによって受けられている。段部55とナット34との間で第2板32が挟持されて、吊り部材25と第2板32とが固定されている。
 頭部52と段部55との間隔H1(大径部53の軸長に相当)は、第1板30と第2板32との間に介在するスライド部材89の本体部90の板厚と、第1板30の板厚と、第1板30の上面30Aに沿うスライドプレート43の板厚と、最圧縮時の板ばね42の板厚との合計よりも若干大きくされている。これにより、板ばね42が、スライドプレート43を介して第1板30を第2板32側へ弾性的に付勢している。
 前述した通常状態には、各吊り部材25が長溝31の後端部31Bに位置している(図5参照)。このときの可動ブラケット24(第2板32)の軸方向X1(移動方向Z1)における位置を、初期位置ということにする(図1、図2および図6も参照)。
 そして、ステアリング装置1は、連結・離脱機構R1を備えている。連結・離脱機構R1は、固定ブラケット23と可動ブラケット24とを連結し、二次衝突時に、可動ブラケット24を初期位置から図7に示すように軸方向X1における前側(移動方向Z1における下流側)へ向けて第1板30から離脱(相対移動)させる。
 図2および一部破断概略平面図である図5に示すように、連結・離脱機構R1は、左右方向Y1に関して、一対の吊り下げ機構T1,T2の間に配置されている。すなわち、連結・離脱機構R1は固定ブラケット23の第1板30の一対の長溝31の間に配置されている。具体的には、連結・離脱機構R1は、左右方向Y1に関して、一対の長溝31の間(すなわち一対の吊り部材25の間)の中央位置に配置されている。連結・離脱機構R1は、二次衝突時に剪断(破断)する樹脂製のピン61と、ピン61の軸方向の一部に嵌合した円筒状の金属カラー62とで構成されている(図3参照)。なお、金属カラー62に代えて、高硬度の樹脂やセラミック等のカラーを用いてもよい。
 図6を参照して、連結・離脱機構R1のピン61は、例えば断面円形の頭部63と、頭部63よりも小径の円柱状の軸部64とを備えている。円筒状の金属カラー62は、軸部64の外周に嵌合されている。金属カラー62の外径は、ピン61の頭部63の外径と等しい。
 前述した通常状態では、固定ブラケット23の第1板30の第1貫通孔66と、可動ブラケット24の第2板32の第2貫通孔67とが、軸方向X1(移動方向Z1)および左右方向Y1において同じ位置(スライド部材89の切り欠き部93の内側領域)にあって、上下に対向している。このとき、ピン61の頭部63と金属カラー62の大部分とは、固定ブラケット23の第1板30の第1貫通孔66に挿通されている。金属カラー62の一部は、第1貫通孔66から下方へ突出している。ピン61の軸部64のうち、金属カラー62から突出した部分が、可動ブラケット24の第2板32の第2貫通孔67に挿通されている。つまり、ピン61は、対向状態にある第1貫通孔66および第2貫通孔67に対して跨って挿通されている。これによって、ピン61は、固定ブラケット23に対して可動ブラケット24を位置決めしている。
 金属カラー62の軸方向の第1端部621(図6における上端部)が、ピン61の頭部63に当接し、金属カラー62の軸方向の第2端部622(図6における下端部)が、第2板32の上面32Aによって受けられている。これにより、ピン61および金属カラー62が、第2板32の下方へ脱落することが防止されている。
 一方、スライドプレート43が、ピン61の頭部63の上方を覆うように配置されることで、ピン61の上方への脱落が防止されている。また、スライドプレート43には、ピン61の頭部63に対向して、頭部63の外径よりも小さい覗き孔65が形成されている。連結・離脱機構R1の組立後に、スライドプレート43の覗き孔65を通してピン61の頭部63を視認することにより、ピン61の組み付け忘れ等の作業不良を容易に判断することができる。
 図2のVIII-VIII線に沿う断面である図8に示すように、第1板30の第1貫通孔66は、左右方向Y1に関して、吊り下げ機構T1,T2用の長溝31間の中央位置に1つ配置されている。すなわち、ピン61は、左右方向Y1に関して、一対の吊り部材25間の中央位置に配置されている。
 また、第1板30の第1貫通孔66は、左右方向Y1に長い横長孔に形成されている。これにより、左右方向Y1に関して、金属カラー62の外周と第1貫通孔66の内周との間に隙間S1,S2が設けられている。
 図2のIX-IX線に沿う断面である図9に示すように、可動ブラケット24の第2板32の第2貫通孔67は、左右方向Y1に関して、一対の挿通孔33間の中央位置に1つ配置されている。第2貫通孔67は、ピン61の軸部64の外径と同じか又は若干大きい内径を持つ円孔により形成されている。
 二次衝突時には、図7に示すように、第1貫通孔66と第2貫通孔67とがずれる。これに伴う金属カラー62の第2端部622と第2板32との合わせ面のずれによって、ピン61の軸部64が、第1貫通孔66と第2貫通孔67との間の位置で剪断(破断)される。金属カラー62の第2端部622の内周縁で構成される剪断刃は、円弧状であり(図8参照)、第2板32の第2貫通孔67の縁部で構成される剪断刃も、円弧状である(図9参照)。
 二次衝突時には、ピン61の破断により、可動ブラケット24が、固定ブラケット23から解放され、前述したように、初期位置(図6参照)から図7に示すように軸方向X1における前側(移動方向Z1における下流側)へ離脱する。つまり、二次衝突時には、ピン61は、互いにずれる第1貫通孔66と第2貫通孔67との間で破断することによって、軸方向X1における固定ブラケット23に対する可動ブラケット24の相対移動を許可する。これにより、二次衝突における衝撃が吸収される。
 また、二次衝突時には、可動ブラケット24に組み付けられたスライド部材89は、可動ブラケット24(第2板32の上面32A)と固定ブラケット23(第1板30の下面30B)との間に介在された状態で、移動方向Z1における下流側へ向けて可動ブラケット24と一体移動し、その際、固定ブラケット23の第1板30の下面30Bに摺擦する。具体的に、スライド部材89では、本体部90における第1板30側の面(上面90D)が、摩擦低減材81を介して固定ブラケット23に摺擦する。
 以上のように、このステアリング装置1では、二次衝突時には、可動ブラケット24が移動方向Z1における下流側(前側)へ向けて固定ブラケット23に対して相対移動することによって、二次衝突時における衝撃を吸収することができる。
 ここで、可動ブラケット24に組み付けられたスライド部材89が、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aと固定ブラケット23との間に介在された状態で可動ブラケット24と一体移動するので、可動ブラケット24と固定ブラケット23との間の摩擦を低減させることができる。
 このようなスライド部材89において、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aと固定ブラケット23との間に差し込まれる本体部90は、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aにおいて移動方向Z1における全域に亘って設けられている。これにより、可動ブラケット24の第2板32の上面32Aと固定ブラケット23の第1板30の下面30Bとの間隔Wが移動方向Z1における全域に亘って一定となった状態で維持されている(図6参照)。よって、二次衝突時には、当該間隔Wが常に一定の状態で、可動ブラケット24が、固定ブラケット23に対して急に姿勢を崩すことなく、安定して相対移動できるので、二次衝突時(厳密には、可動ブラケット24が初期位置から離脱した後)の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化を図ることができる。
 また、折曲部91は、移動方向Z1における下流側から可動ブラケット24に引っ掛かっている。そのため、スライド部材89を可動ブラケット24に対して移動方向Z1に位置決めできるだけでなく、二次衝突時には、スライド部材89を、必ず、移動方向Z1における下流側へ向けて可動ブラケット24と一体移動させることができる。そして、折曲部91が可動ブラケット24に引っ掛かるように本体部90を可動ブラケット24の上面32Aに載せる(上からかぶせる)だけで、可動ブラケット24にスライド部材89を容易に組み付けることができる。さらにスライド部材89の位置決めも達成できる。よって、スライド部材89の組み付けについての工数削減や、組み付け位置の調整の簡素化が達成される。よって、スライド部材89の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。特に、作業者は、折曲部91を可動ブラケット24に引っ掛けることによって、本体部90において摩擦低減材81が設けられた上面90Dが上を向くように、スライド部材89を、その表裏(上下の向き)を間違えることなく組み付けることができる。
 以上のように、このステアリング装置1によれば、二次衝突時に衝撃吸収のために相対移動する1対の部材間(可動ブラケット24と固定ブラケット23との間)の摩擦を低減させる構成(スライド部材89)の組み付け性の向上と、当該構成を用いる場合における二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化との両立を図ることができる。
 特に、スライド部材89は、前述したように1ピース構造である。一方、たとえば、前側部分と後側部分という2部品に分離できる2ピース構造のスライド部材では、前側部分および後側部分のそれぞれを可動ブラケット24に組み付ける構成が考えられる。または、前側部分を可動ブラケット24に組み付けて後側部分を固定ブラケット23に組み付ける構成が考えられる。これらの構成に比べて、1ピース構造のスライド部材89は、可動ブラケット24に載せるだけで組み付けが済むので、組み付け性を格段に向上できる。また、前側部分を可動ブラケット24に組み付けて後側部分を固定ブラケット23に組み付ける構成の場合、二次衝突時に可動ブラケット24が初期位置から離脱することに伴って、後側部分が可動ブラケット24(固定ブラケット23と可動ブラケット24との間)から外れると、可動ブラケット24が、固定ブラケット23に対して急に姿勢を崩すので、そのときに衝撃吸収荷重が急上昇する虞がある。しかし、本実施形態のスライド部材89であれば、そのような心配はない。
 また、左右方向Y1における本体部90の最大寸法Mが可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41の最大間隔Nよりも大きいので(図4参照)、スライド部材89を間違って一対の側板41の間に組み込むことは、スライド部材89の姿勢を傾ける以外には物理的に不可能である。そのため、本体部90が可動ブラケット24の第2板32の上面32Aに載るように、可動ブラケット24にスライド部材89を正しく組み付けることができる。よって、スライド部材89の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。
 また、折曲部91の先端部に形成した挟持部95と本体部90との間で可動ブラケット24の第2板32を挟むことによって、折曲部91を可動ブラケット24に確実に引っ掛けることができる。
 また、左右方向Y1における挟持部95の一端縁95Aと他端縁95Bとの間隔Kは、一対の側板41と第2板32との境界における一対の側板41の間隔Lと同じである(図4参照)。間隔Kは、複数の挟持部95が左右方向Y1に並んでいる場合は、左右方向Y1の両端に位置する1対の挟持部95の外側端縁同士の間隔である。そのため、挟持部95を可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41の間に配置しさえすれば、スライド部材89を可動ブラケット24に対して左右方向Y1に位置決めでき、その後のスライド部材89の(左右方向Y1における位置の)微調整も不要となる。よって、左右方向Y1における組み付け位置の調整の簡素化によって、スライド部材89の組み付け性の向上を図ることができる。
 そして、スライド部材89の切り欠き部93に吊り部材25を通すことによって、スライド部材89を、吊り部材25(吊り部材25の設置領域)との干渉を避けて可動ブラケット24に組み付けることができる(図2および図3参照)。
 この発明は、以上に説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、請求項記載の範囲内において種々の変更が可能である。
 たとえば、折曲部91の大きさ(特に、左右方向Y1の寸法)や数は、前述した間隔K(図4参照)が満たされる範囲内で、任意に変更できる。
 また、図4における左右2つの折曲部91がつながっていて、図10に示すように、1つの折曲部91となっていてもよい。図10では、今まで説明した部材と同様の部材には、同一の参照符号を付し、その説明を省略する。図10の場合、前述した間隔Kは、1つの折曲部91(挟持部95)の幅であり、図4での間隔Kより小さく設定されている。これにより、挟持部95は、可動ブラケット24における一対の側板41の間に遊びを持って配置されるため、左右方向Y1におけるスライド部材89と可動ブラケット24との位置決めにあまり寄与しない。そこで、スライド部材89の本体部90(たとえば、左右方向Y1における前端部90Aの略中央)の下面90Eには、下側へ突出する凸部100が1つ形成されている。本体部90の上面90Dにおいて凸部100が形成される予定の部分を、エンボス加工等によって下向きに凹ませると、下面90Eにおいて当該部分と一致する部分が下方へ略半球状に盛り上がる。この略半球状部分が、凸部100である。また、可動ブラケット24においてスライド部材89がセット(載置)される第2板32の上面32Aには、下側へ窪む凹部101が設けられている。凹部101は、軸方向X1に長い長孔であり、第2板32の前端部321における左右方向Y1の略中央に設けられている。凹部101は、第2板32を板厚方向に貫通していてもよいし、貫通していなくてもよい。スライド部材89が可動ブラケット24にセットされたとき、スライド部材89の凸部100が可動ブラケット24の凹部101に嵌め込まれる。これによって、スライド部材89と可動ブラケット24とが互いに左右方向Y1において位置決めされる。なお、凸部100を可動ブラケット24に設けて、凹部101をスライド部材89に設けてもよい。要は、スライド部材89および可動ブラケット24において、一方に凸部100が設けられ、他方に、凸部100が嵌め込まれる凹部101が設けられていればよい。また、凸部100および凹部101の数、大きさおよび形状は、任意に変更可能である。凸部100および凹部101は、図10の変形例に限らず、前述した実施形態(図4等)にも適用できる。
 また、スライド部材89の切り欠き部93の大きさおよび形状は、任意に変更できる。要は、二次衝突時には、切り欠き部93におけるスライド部材89の周縁部が固定ブラケット23側の部品(たとえば、図7に示すように固定ブラケット23の第1貫通孔66に残っているピン61の破片61Aなど)に引っ掛からないように、切り欠き部93が構成されていればよい。
 また、前述した実施形態では、スライド部材89の本体部90の軸方向X1における寸法Pが、第2板32の上面32Aの軸方向X1における寸法Q以上であることにより、本体部90は、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aにおいて移動方向Z1における全域に亘って設けられている(図4参照)。しかし、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aと固定ブラケット23との間隔W(図6および図7参照)を、移動方向Z1における全域に亘って一定となった状態で常に維持できるのであれば、寸法Pが寸法Qより若干小さくてもよい。この場合、本体部90は、可動ブラケット24の上面32Aにおいて移動方向Z1における略全域に亘って設けられていればよい。
 また、前述した実施形態のスライド部材89の本体部90を板厚方向から見たときの形状は、後側へ向けて開放されたU字状であるが(図4参照)、H字状であってもよい。H字状の場合には、H字における横線部分が、本体部90の前端部90Aによって構成され、平行に延びる2本の縦線部分が、本体部90の左端部90Bおよび右端部90Cによって構成される。
 また、スライド部材89において少なくとも固定ブラケット23に摺擦する部分には、前述した摩擦低減材81の代わりに、通電性を有する摩擦低減材(以下では、導電性摩擦低減材)200を設けてもよい。スライド部材89において固定ブラケット23に摺擦する部分とは、本体部90の上面90D(折曲部91において本体部90から前側へ延び出た部分の上面も含む)の全域であり、図4および図10においてハッチングを付した領域である。導電性摩擦低減材200の一例として、オイレス工業株式会社製のテクメット(登録商標)という通電タイプの樹脂コーティングメタルや、その他の導電性樹脂を用いることができる。スライド部材89において固定ブラケット23に摺擦する部分の全域が、導電性摩擦低減材200によってコーティングされていることが好ましい。
 導電性摩擦低減材200が設けられたスライド部材89によって、固定ブラケット23と可動ブラケット24との間における通電性を確保できる。たとえば、操舵部材2(図1参照)には、ホーン等の電気部品のスイッチが設けられていることがある。固定ブラケット23と可動ブラケット24との間における通電性を確保できれば、このスイッチを、固定ブラケット23、可動ブラケット24および車体(車体側部材13)を介してアースすることができる。なお、固定ブラケット23と可動ブラケット24との間における通電性を確実に確保するために、スライド部材89において可動ブラケット24に接触する部分にも導電性摩擦低減材200を設けてもよいし、スライド部材89全体を導電性摩擦低減材200で形成してもよい。
 また、導電性摩擦低減材200を用いる場合であっても、摩擦低減材81を設ける場合と同様に、二次衝突時には固定ブラケット23に対する可動ブラケット24の円滑な相対移動を達成することができる。
 本発明によれば、二次衝突時に衝撃吸収のために相対移動する1対の部材間の摩擦を低減させる構成の組み付け性の向上と、当該構成を用いる場合における二次衝突時の衝撃吸収荷重の安定化との両立を図ることができるステアリング装置を提供することができる。

  1.  車体に固定される固定ブラケットと、
     前記固定ブラケットに対向する対向面を有し、操舵部材に連結されており、二次衝突時には、操舵部材を伴って、所定の移動方向における下流側へ向けて前記固定ブラケットに対して相対移動するよう構成された可動ブラケットと、
     前記可動ブラケットに組み付けられ、二次衝突時には、前記対向面と前記固定ブラケットとの間に介在された状態で前記可動ブラケットと一体移動するよう構成されたスライド部材と、を含み、
     前記スライド部材は、
     前記対向面において前記移動方向における全域に亘って設けられ、前記対向面と前記固定ブラケットとの間に差し込まれていて、二次衝突時には前記固定ブラケットに摺擦するよう構成された本体部と、
     前記本体部において前記移動方向における下流側端部から折れ曲がっていて、前記移動方向における下流側から前記可動ブラケットに引っ掛かる留め部と、を含む、ステアリング装置。
  2.  前記可動ブラケットは、前記対向面を有する板状部と、前記板状部において前記移動方向に対する直交方向における両側から同じ方向に屈曲した一対の屈曲部と、を含み、
     前記直交方向における前記本体部の最大寸法は、前記一対の屈曲部の最大間隔よりも大きい、請求項1記載のステアリング装置。
  3.  前記留め部は、前記留め部の前記本体部側とは反対側の先端部を、前記移動方向における上流側へ折り曲げることによって形成され、前記一対の屈曲部の間に配置されつつ、前記本体部との間で前記板状部を挟む挟持部を含む、請求項2記載のステアリング装置。
  4.  前記直交方向における前記挟持部の一端縁および他端縁の間隔は、前記一対の屈曲部と前記板状部との境界における前記一対の屈曲部の間隔と同じである、請求項3記載のステアリング装置。
  5.  前記スライド部材および前記可動ブラケットのうち一方に凸部が設けられ、他方に、前記凸部が嵌め込まれる凹部が設けられている、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のステアリング装置。
  6.  前記固定ブラケットから延びて前記可動ブラケットを吊る吊り部材を含み、
     前記スライド部材には、前記吊り部材を通す切り欠き部が形成されている、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載のステアリング装置。
  7.  前記スライド部材において前記固定ブラケットに摺擦する部分には、導電性摩擦低減材が設けられている、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載のステアリング装置。
