상기 발광 모듈은, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부의 출력에 연결된 연결 저항을 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제2 내지 제M 트랜지스터를 각각 포함하고, 상기 제2 내지 제M-1 트랜지스터 각각은 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M-1 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부의 양극 및 음극과 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스; 상기 제2 내지 제M-1 레벨 비교부 중 해당하는 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제M 트랜지스터는 상기 제1-M 발광 소자의 음극과 기준 전위에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스; 상기 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결되고, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결될 수 있다.
제1-m 발광 소자는 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중에서 가장 먼저 턴 온될 수 있다.
상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 그린 화이트 색의 광을 방출하고, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 적색 광을 방출할 수 있다.
상기 제1 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 및 상기 제1 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 집적회로로 일체화될 수 있다.
상기 발광 모듈은 교류 형태의 상기 구동 신호를 정류하여 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로 변환하는 정류부를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 정류부는 교류 형태의 상기 구동 신호를 상기 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로 변환하는 전파 다이오드 브릿지 회로를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 원형 평면 형태로 배치될 수 있다.
상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 원형 평면 형태로 배치된 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자의 사이에 등간격으로 배치되거나, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자가 배치된 원형 평면의 내부에 배치될 수 있다.
상기 발광 모듈은, 상기 제M 전류 제어부와 상기 기준 전위 사이에 연결되는 센싱 저항을 더 포함할 수 있다.
실시 예에 따른 발광 모듈은 온도 변화에 따른 적색 광 출력 감소를 서미스터를 이용하여 방지함으로써 90 이상의 높은 연색 지수를 확보하면서도 일정한 색 재현성을 저렴한 비용으로 제공하여 높은 효율을 갖는다.

도 1은 일 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100A)의 회로도를 나타낸다.
도 1에 예시된 발광 모듈(100A)은 교류 전원(110), 정류부(120), 점멸 제어부(140A), 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 및 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, M은 2 이상의 양의 정수이고, N은 1 이상의 양의 정수이다. 도 1의 경우, M=4이고 N=1인 경우에 해당하지만, 실시 예는 이에 국한되지 않는다. 즉, M은 4보다 크거나 작을 수도 있고, N이 1보다 클 수도 있다.
교류 전원(110)은 교류 형태의 구동 신호를 공급한다. 이때, 교류 형태의 구동 신호는 실효치가 100 또는 200 볼트(V)이고, 50㎐ 내지 60㎐의 주파수를 갖는 교류 형태의 구동 전압(Vac)일 수 있다.
비록 도시되지는 않았지만, 교류 전원(110)과 정류부(120) 사이에 퓨즈가 배치될 수 있다. 퓨즈는 순간적으로 높은 교류 형태의 구동 신호로부터 도 1에 도시된 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)를 보호하는 역할을 할 수 있다. 즉, 순간적으로 높은 교류 형태의 구동 신호가 들어올 때 퓨즈가 오픈됨으로써, 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)가 보호될 수 있다.
정류부(120)는 교류 전원(110)으로부터 제공되는 교류 형태의 구동 신호를 정류하고, 정류된 결과를 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로서 출력한다. 예를 들어, 정류부(120)는 교류 형태의 구동 신호를 정류하여 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로 변환하는 전파 다이오드 브릿지(bridge) 회로에 의해 구현될 수 있다. 전파 다이오드 브릿지 회로는 일반적인 내용이므로 이에 대한 상세한 설명은 생략한다.
또한, 비록 도시되지는 않았지만, 발광 모듈(100A)은 정류부(120)와 제1-1 발광 소자(D11) 사이에 배치된 평활부를 더 포함할 수 있다. 평활부는 정류부(30)에서 정류된 맥류 형태의 구동 신호를 평활화시켜 직류 형태로 변환할 수 있다.
이하, 도 1에서 편의상 발광 모듈(100A)은 평활부를 포함하지 않고 정류부(120)에서 정류된 맥류 형태의 구동 신호가 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)에 공급되는 것으로 설명하지만, 실시 예는 이에 국한되지 않는다.
한편, 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결되거나 병렬 연결될 수 있다. 예를 들어, M=4인 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 발광 모듈(100A)은 서로 직렬 형태로 연결된 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결되거나 병렬 연결될 수 있다. 예를 들어, N=1이 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 발광 모듈(100A)은 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 하나인 제1-m 발광 소자와 병렬로 연결될 수 있다. 여기서, 1 ≤ m ≤ M 이다. 예를 들어, 도 1을 참조하면, m=1인 경우 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)와 병렬로 연결될 수 있다.
전술한 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21) 각각은 발광 소자 패키지일 수도 있으며, 적어도 하나의 발광 다이오드(LED)를 포함할 수 있다. 발광 다이오드는 적색, 녹색, 청색 또는 백색의 유색 빛을 각각 발광하는 유색 발광 다이오드 및 자외선(UV:UltraViolet)을 발광하는 UV 발광 다이오드를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, LED는 수평형, 수직형 또는 플립칩 본딩형 구조를 가질 수 있다.
실시 예에 의하면, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제1-m 발광 소자는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중에서 가장 먼저 턴 온되는 발광 소자인 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)일 수 있으나, 실시 예는 이에 국한되지 않는다.
예를 들어, N=m=1인 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)와 병렬로 연결될 수 있지만, 실시 예는 이에 국한되지 않는다. 즉, 다른 실시 예에 의하면, N=1이고 m=2일 수도 있다. 이 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 달리 제2-1 발광 소자(D1)는 제1-2 발광 소자(D12)와 병렬로 연결될 수 있다.
한편, 점멸 제어부(140A)는 맥류 형태의 구동 신호의 레벨에 따라, 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자와 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어할 수 있다. 예를 들어, M=4이고 N=1일 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 점멸 제어부(140A)는 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)의 점멸을 제어하고, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)의 점멸을 제어할 수 있다.
점멸 제어부(140A)는 제1 및 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1, 140A-2)을 포함할 수 있다.
제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)은 제1-m 발광 소자와, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어한다. 예를 들어, N=m=1일 경우, 제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)은 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)와 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)의 점멸을 제어할 수 있다.
제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)은 제1-m 발광 소자에 흐르는 제1 전류(I1)와 연계하여, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자에 흐르는 제2 전류(I2)의 온도에 따른 변화를 보상할 수 있다. 예를 들어, N=m=1일 경우, 제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)은 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)에 흐르는 제1 전류(I1)와 연계하여, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)에 흐르는 제2 전류(I2)의 온도에 따른 변화를 보상할 수 있다.
설명의 편의상, 도 1에서, 제1-1, 제1-2, 제1-3 및 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)를 통해 제1, 제3, 제4 및 제5 전류(I1, I3, I4, I5)가 흐르고, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)를 통해 제2 전류(I2)가 흐른다고 정의한다.
실시 예에 의하면, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)은 서미스터(thermistor)(132), 제1 레벨 비교부(134) 및 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)를 포함할 수 있다.
서미스터(132)는 제1-m 발광 소자(예: 제1-1 발광 소자(D11))와 병렬로 연결될 수 있다. 제1 레벨 비교부(134)는 맥류 형태의 구동 신호의 레벨과 제1 기준 전압(VR1)의 레벨을 비교하고, 비교된 결과를 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)로 출력한다. 제1 레벨 비교부(134)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 2개의 신호들을 아날로그 형태로 비교하는 연산(OP) 증폭기로 구현될 수 있다. 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)는 제1 레벨 비교부(134)에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자(예: D21)로부터 서미스터(132)로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 형성한다. 이를 위해, 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)는 제1 트랜지스터로 구현될 수 있다. 제1 트랜지스터(Q1)는 바이폴라 트랜지스터 또는 전계 효과 트랜지스터(FET:Field Effect Transistor) 등으로 구현될 수 있다. 만일, 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)가 전계 효과 트랜지스터로 구현될 경우, 제1 트랜지스터(Q1)는 드레인, 게이트 및 소스로 구현될 수 있다. 제1 트랜지스터(Q1)의 드레인은 제2-N 발광 소자(예; 제2-1 발광 소자(D21))의 음극과 연결되고, 소스는 서미스터(132)와 연결되고, 게이트는 제1 레벨 비교부(134)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된다.
한편, 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-2)은 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어한다. 예를 들어, M=4이고, m=1일 경우, 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-2)은 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 중에서 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)를 제외한 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 적어도 일부의 점멸을 제어한다.
이를 위해, 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-2)은 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 및 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부를 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들어, M=4인 경우, 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-2)은 제2 내지 제4 레벨 비교부(142, 144, 146) 및 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q2, Q3, Q4)를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, 제1 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 및 제1 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 집적회로로 일체화될 수 있다.
제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부는 맥류 형태의 구동 신호와 제2 내지 제M 기준 전압(VR2, VR3, VR4, ..., VRM)을 비교할 수 있다. 예를 들어, M=4인 경우, 제2 레벨 비교부(142)는 구동 신호의 레벨과 제2 기준 전압(VR2)의 레벨을 비교하고, 비교된 결과를 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)로 출력하고, 제3 레벨 비교부(144)는 구동 신호의 레벨과 제3 기준 전압(VR3)의 레벨을 비교하고, 비교된 결과를 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)로 출력하고, 제4 레벨 비교부(146)는 구동 신호의 레벨과 제4 기준 전압(VR4)의 레벨을 비교하고, 비교된 결과를 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)로 출력한다. 여기서, 제1 내지 제4 기준 전압(VR1, VR2, VR3, VR4)의 대소 관계는 다음 수학식 1과 같을 수 있다.
제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부로부터 기준 전위(예를 들어, 접지)로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 각각 형성한다.
예를 들어, M=4이고 m=1일 경우, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q2, Q3, Q4)는 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로가 형성되도록 제어한다.
즉, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)의 제어 하에 제1-1 및 제1-2 발광 소자(D11, D12)로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로가 형성되고, 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)의 제어 하에 제1-1 내지 제1-3 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13)로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로가 형성되고, 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)의 제어 하에 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로가 형성될 수 있다.
이를 위해, 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제2 내지 제M 바이폴라 트랜지스터 또는 제2 내지 제M 전계 효과 트랜지스터로 각각 구현될 수 있다. 도 1의 경우 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) 각각이 전계 효과 트랜지스터로 구현된 경우를 나타낸다.
제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부 각각의 전계 효과 트랜지스터는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자의 음극과 연결된 드레인, 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 중 해당하는 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트, 및 센싱 저항(Rs)의 일측과 연결된 소스를 포함할 수 있다.
즉, 도 1을 참조하면, M=4이고 m=1인 경우, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)를 구현하는 전계 효과 트랜지스터는 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 중 제1-1 발광 소자(D1)를 제외한 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 해당하는 발광 소자(D12)의 음극과 연결된 드레인, 제2 내지 제4 레벨 비교부(142, 144, 146) 중에서 해당하는 제2 레벨 비교부(142)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트, 및 센싱 저항(Rs)의 일측과 연결된 소스를 포함할 수 있다. 이와 비슷하게, 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)를 구현하는 전계 효과 트랜지스터는 제1-3 발광 소자(D13)의 음극과 연결된 드레인, 제3 레벨 비교부(144)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트, 및 센싱 저항(Rs)의 일측과 연결된 소스를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)를 구현하는 전계 효과 트랜지스터는 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)의 음극과 연결된 드레인, 제4 레벨 비교부(146)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트, 및 센싱 저항(Rs)의 일측과 연결된 소스를 포함할 수 있다.
발광 모듈(100A)은 센싱 저항(Rs)을 더 포함할 수 있다. 센싱 저항(Rs)의 일측은 전술한 바와 같이 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부와 연결되고, 센싱 저항(Rs)의 타측은 기준 전위와 연결될 수 있다.
도 2는 다른 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100B)의 회로도를 나타낸다.
도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100B)은 교류 전원(110), 정류부(120), 점멸 제어부(140B), 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 및 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자를 포함할 수 있다. 도 1과 마찬가지로, 도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100B)은 M=4이고 N=1인 경우에 해당한다.
도 2에 도시된 교류 전원(110), 정류부(120), 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 도 1에 도시된 교류 전원(110), 정류부(120), 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)에 각각 해당하므로 동일한 참조부호를 사용하였으며, 이들에 대한 중복되는 설명을 생략한다.
도 1에 도시된 발광 모듈(100A)이 센싱 저항(Rs)을 갖는 반면, 도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100B)은 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 중 제1 발광 소자(m=1인 경우, D11)를 제외한 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 적어도 일부(D13, D14)의 출력에 연결된 연결 저항(R1, R2, R3)을 포함할 수 있다. 제1 연결 저항(R1)은 제1-3 발광 소자(D13)의 출력인 음극에 연결되고, 제2 연결 저항(R2)은 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)의 출력인 음극에 직렬로 연결될 수 있다. 제3 연결 저항(R3)은 도 1에 도시된 센싱 저항(Rs)과 동일한 역할을 수행할 수 있다.
도 2에 도시된 점멸 제어부(140B)는 제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140B-1) 및 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140B-2)을 포함할 수 있다.
제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140B-1)의 구성은 도 1에 도시된 제1 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-1)의 구성과 동일하므로 이에 대한 중복되는 설명을 생략한다. 그러나, 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140B-2)의 구성은 도 1에 도시된 제2 점멸 제어 유닛(140A-2)의 구성과 부분적으로 다르다. 이에 대해 살펴보면 다음과 같다.

제2 내지 제M-1 전류 제어부는 제1-1 내지 제1-M-1 발광 소자 중 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 제2 내지 제M-1 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 각각 우회시킨다. 예를 들어, M=4이고 m=1일 경우, 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 제2 및 제3 전류 제어부(Q2, Q3) 각각은 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)를 제외한 제1-2 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 적어도 일부(D13, D14)로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 우회시킬 수 있다. 즉, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)는 제2 레벨 비교부(142)에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 제1-3 발광 소자(D13)로 전류가 흐르는 않도록 전류 경로를 우회시킬 수 있고, 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)는 제3 레벨 비교부(144)에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)로 전류가 흐르지 않도록 전류 경로를 우회시킬 수 있다.
또한, 제M 전류 제어부는 제1-M 발광 소자로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 형성할 수 있다. 즉, M=4일 경우, 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)는 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 제4 레벨 비교부(146)에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 형성할 수 있다.
이를 위해, 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제2 내지 제M 바이폴라 트랜지스터 또는 제2 내지 제M 전계 효과 트랜지스터로 각각 구현될 수 있다. 도 2의 경우 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) 각각이 전계 효과 트랜지스터로 구현된 경우를 나타낸다.
제2 내지 제M-1 전류 제어부 각각의 전계 효과 트랜지스터는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부의 발광 소자의 양극과 음극에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스와, 제2 내지 제M-1 레벨 비교부 중 해당하는 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다. 즉, 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 M=4이고, m=1인 경우, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)에 해당하는 전계 효과 트랜지스터(Q2)는 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 중 제1-1 발광 소자(D1)를 제외한 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 적어도 일부(D13)의 양극과 음극에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스와, 제2 내지 제4 레벨 비교부(142, 144, 146) 중에서 해당하는 제2 레벨 비교부(142)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다. 이와 비슷하게, 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)에 해당하는 전계 효과 트랜지스터(Q3)는 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 중 제1-1 발광 소자(D1)를 제외한 발광 소자(D12, D13, D14) 중 나머지 일부(D14)의 양극과 음극에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스와, 제3 레벨 비교부(144)에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 제M 트랜지스터는 제1-M 발광 소자의 음극과 기준 전위에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스와, 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들어, M=4일 경우, 제4 트랜지스터(Q4)는 제1-4 발광 소자(Q4)의 음극과 기준 전위에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스와 제4 레벨 비교부(146)에서 비교된 결과에 연결된 게이트를 포함할 수 있다.
이하, 도 1에 도시된 발광 모듈(100A)의 동작에 대해 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 다음과 같이 살펴본다. 설명의 편의를 위해, M=4이고, N=m=1이라고 가정한다.
도 3a 내지 도 3c는 도 1에 도시된 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)가 점등되는 모습을 나타낸다.
도 4a 내지 도 4d는 구동 신호의 레벨 변화에 따라 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)에 흐르는 전류 파형 및 구동 전압(VM)의 파형을 나타내며, 횡축은 시간을 나타내고, 종축은 맥류 형태의 구동 전압(VM)과 각 발광 소자(D11, D21, D12, D13, D14)에 각각 흐르는 제1, 제2, 제3, 제4 및 제5 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4, I5)를 함께 나타낸다.
도 3a 내지 도 3c와 함께 도 1과 도 4a 내지 도 4d를 참조하여 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)의 점등과 소등을 설명하면 다음과 같다.
먼저, t0 ≤ t < t1에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V1까지 상승하는 동안, 제1 내지 제5 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4, I5)가 흐르지 않아 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 모두 소등된다. 이때, 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)는 턴 오프되어 있는 반면, 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q2, Q3, Q4)는 턴 온되어 있다.
이후, 도 4a에 예시된 바와 같이 t=t1에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V1이 됨에 따라 제1 전류 제어부(Q1)는 턴 온되어, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)에 일정한 레벨의 제2 전류(I2)가 흐르고, 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)에도 제1 전류(I1)가 흐른다. 이후, 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V2에 도달할 때 도 4b에 예시된 바와 같이 제1-2 발광 소자(D12)에도 제3 전류(I3)가 흐르게 된다. 따라서, 도 3a에 예시된 바와 같이 제1, 제2 및 제3 전류(I1, I2, I3)가 흐르는 경로(①) 상에 위치한 제1-1 및 제1-2 발광 소자(D11, D12) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 점등하며, 제4 및 제5 전류(I4, I5)가 흐르지 않은 제1-3 및 제1-4 발광 소자(D13, D14)는 소등 상태를 유지한다. 이때, 제2 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q2, Q3, Q4)는 턴 온 상태를 계속해서 유지한다.
이후, 도 4c에 예시된 바와 같이 t=t2에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V3이 됨에 따라 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)는 턴 오프되어, 제1-3 발광 소자(D13)에 제4 전류(I4)가 흐른다. 따라서, 도 3b에 예시된 바와 같이 제1, 제2, 제3 및 제4 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4)가 흐르는 경로(②) 상에 위치한 제1-1, 제1-2 및 제1-3 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 점등하며, 제5 전류(I5)가 흐르지 않은 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)는 소등 상태를 유지한다. 이때, 제3 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q3, Q4)는 턴 온 상태를 계속해서 유지한다.
이후, 도 4d에 예시된 바와 같이 t=t3에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4가 됨에 따라 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)는 턴 오프된다. 이때, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)는 턴 오프 상태를 유지한다. 따라서, 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)에 제5 전류(I5)가 흐른다. 이 경우, 도 3c에 예시된 바와 같이 제1, 제2, 제3, 제4 및 제5 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4, I5)가 흐르는 경로(③) 상에 위치한 제1-1, 제1-2, 제1-3 및 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 점등하게 된다. 이때, 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)는 턴 온 상태를 계속해서 유지한다.
발광 모듈(100A)은 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4까지 증가하는 t0 ≤ t ≤ t3 동안 전술한 바와 같이 동작한다. 이후, 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4부터 0까지 감소하는 t4 ≤ t ≤ t7에서 발광 모듈(100A)은 전술한 t0 ≤ t ≤ t3에서와 반대로 동작하므로, 이에 대한 상세한 설명을 생략한다.
이하, 도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100B)의 동작에 대해 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 다음과 같이 살펴본다. 설명의 편의를 위해, M=4이고, N=m=1이라고 가정한다. 또한, 설명의 편의상, 도 2에서, 제1-1, 제1-2, 제1-3 및 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)를 통해 제1, 제3, 제4 및 제5 전류(I1, I3, I4, I5)가 흐르고, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)를 통해 제2 전류(I2)가 흐른다고 정의한다.
도 5a 내지 도 5c는 도 2에 도시된 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)가 순차적으로 점등되는 모습을 나타낸다.
도 2와 도 5a 내지 도 5d를 참조하여 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)의 점등과 소등을 설명하면 다음과 같다.

이후, 도 4c에 예시된 바와 같이 t=t2에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V3이 됨에 따라 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)는 턴 오프되어, 제1-3 발광 소자(D13)에 제4 전류(I4)가 흐른다. 따라서, 도 5b에 예시된 바와 같이 제1, 제2, 제3 및 제4 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4)가 흐르는 경로(②) 상에 위치한 제1-1, 제1-2 및 제1-3 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 점등하며, 제5 전류(I5)가 흐르지 않은 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)는 소등 상태를 유지한다. 이때, 제3 내지 제4 전류 제어부(Q3, Q4)는 턴 온 상태를 계속해서 유지한다. 이와 같이, 턴 온된 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)는 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)에 전류가 흐르지 않도록 우회시킨다.
이후, 도 4d에 예시된 바와 같이 t=t3에서 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4가 됨에 따라 제3 전류 제어부(Q3)는 턴 오프된다. 이때, 제2 전류 제어부(Q2)는 턴 오프 상태를 유지한다. 따라서, 제1-4 발광 소자(D14)에 제5 전류(I5)가 흐른다. 따라서, 도 5c에 예시된 바와 같이 제1, 제2, 제3, 제4 및 제5 전류(I1, I2, I3, I4, I5)가 흐르는 경로(③) 상에 위치한 제1-1, 제1-2, 제1-3 및 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14) 및 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)는 점등하게 된다.이때, 제4 전류 제어부(Q4)는 턴 온 상태를 계속해서 유지한다.
발광 모듈(100B)은 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4까지 증가하는 t0 ≤ t ≤ t3 동안 전술한 바와 같이 동작한다. 이후, 맥류 형태의 구동 신호(VM)의 레벨이 V4부터 0까지 감소하는 t4 ≤ t ≤ t7에서 발광 모듈(100B)은 전술한 t0 ≤ t ≤ t3에서와 반대로 동작과 반대이므로, 이에 대한 상세한 설명을 생략한다.
이하, 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100A, 100B)에서 온도 변화에 따른 제1 및 제2 전류(I1, I2)의 변화를 다음과 같이 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 설명한다.
도 6a 및 도 6b는 25℃의 상온에서 제1 및 제2 전류(I1, I2) 각각을 나타내는 그래프이고, 도 7a 및 도 7b는 60℃의 온도에서 제1 및 제2 전류(I1', I2') 각각을 나타낸다. 여기서, 도 6a, 도 6b, 도 7a, 도 7b에서 빗금친 부분의 면적을 각각 A1, A2, A1', A2'라 정의한다.
25℃의 상온으로부터 60℃까지 온도가 증가하면, 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 서미스터(132)의 저항값이 감소한다. 따라서, 제2 전류(I2)의 도 6b에 도시된 레벨은 도 7b에 도시된 레벨로 화살표 방향(164)으로 증가한다. 즉, 온도의 증가에 따라 제2 전류(I2)의 레벨은 서미스터(132)의 덕택에 화살표 방향(164)으로 증가된 레벨을 갖는다. 이때, 도 6a에 도시된 제1 전류(I1)의 레벨은 도 7a에 도시된 바와 같이 오히려 화살표 방향(162)으로 감소하게 된다.
결국, 온도 변화에도 불구하고, 다음 수학식 2와 같이 전체 면적은 변하지 않게 된다.
여기서, TA는 전체 면적을 나타낸다.
만일, 제1-1 내지 제1-4 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14)가 녹색을 띤 백색(greenish white) 광을 방출하고, 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)가 적색 광을 방출한다고 가정하자. 이때, 온도가 증가할수록 기존의 발광 모듈의 경우 적색 광의 방출이 감소하였다. 여기서, 녹색을 띤 백색 광은, 예를 들어, 청색 광을 방출하는 칩 위에 녹색 형광체가 배치될 경우 발생될 수 있다.
반면에, 도 7a 내지 도 7b를 참조하면, 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100A, 100B)의 경우 온도가 증가함에 따라 제2 전류(I2)를 증가시키고 제1 전류(I1)를 감소시킨다. 따라서, 적색 광을 방출하는 제2-1 발광 소자(D21)의 방출량이 온도 증가에도 불구하고 일정하게 유지된다. 따라서, 발광 모듈(100A, 100B)은 항상 일정한 레벨의 적색 광을 방출할 수 있다.
이하, 전술한 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 발광 모듈(100A, 100B)의 실시 예에 의한 평면도를 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 다음과 같이 설명한다.
도 8은 일 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100C)의 평면도를 나타낸다.
도 8을 참조하면, 발광 모듈(100C)은 제1, 제2 및 제3 발광 그룹(G1, G2, G3), 제2-1 내지 제2-3 발광 소자(D21, D22, D23), 점멸 제어부(140) 및 기판(180)을 포함한다. 도 8의 경우 N=3 및 M=18인 경우이다.
제1, 제2 및 제3 발광 그룹(G1, G2, G3) 각각은 회로 기판(180) 위에 배치되며, 도 1 또는 도 2에 도시된 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 제1, 제2 및 제3 발광 그룹(G1, G2, G3) 각각의 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 원평 평면 형태로 배치될 수 있지만, 실시 예는 이에 국한되지 않는다. 이 경우, 제2-1 내지 제2-3 발광 소자(D21, D22, D23)는 원형 평면 형태로 배치된 제1 내지 제3 발광 그룹(G1, G2, G3) 사이에 등간격으로 배치될 수 있다.
여기서, 회로 기판(180)은 절연체에 회로 패턴이 인쇄된 것일 수 있으며, 예를 들어, 인쇄 회로 기판(PCB:Printed Circuit Board), 메탈 코어(metal core) PCB, 연성 PCB, 세라믹 PCB 등을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 도 8을 참조하면, 점멸 제어부(140)는 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자에 의해 원형 평면 형상의 안쪽에 배치될 수 있다. 점멸 제어부(140)는 도 1 또는 도 2에 도시된 점멸 제어부(140A, 140B)에 해당한다.
도 9는 다른 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100D)의 평면도를 나타낸다.
도 9를 참조하면, 발광 모듈(100D)은 제1-1 내지 제1-8 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18) 및 제2-1 및 제2-2 발광 소자(D21, D22), 몰딩 부재(170), 회로 기판(180) 및 점멸 제어부(140)를 포함할 수 있다.
여기서, 제1-1 내지 제1-8 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18)는 도 1 또는 도 2에 도시된 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자에 해당하며, M=8인 경우를 나타낸다.
또한, 제2-1 및 제2-2 발광 소자(D21, D22)는 도 1 또는 도 2에 도시된 제2-1 및 제2-N 발광 소자에 해당하며, N=2인 경우를 나타낸다. 도 8에 도시된 제2-1 내지 제2-3 발광 소자(D21, D22, D23)와 달리, 도 9에 도시된 제2-1 및 제2-2 발광 소자(D21, D22)는 제1-1 내지 제1-8 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18)에 의해 형성된 원형 평면 형상의 안쪽에 배치될 수 있다.
전술한 바와 같이, 발광 소자의 배치 관계가 다름을 제외하면, 도 9에 도시된 회로 기판(180)은 도 8에 도시된 회로 기판(180)과 동일하므로 중복되는 설명을 생략한다.
또한, 발광 모듈(100C, 100D)은 발광 형태, 제작 방식 및 사용 기판의 형태에 따라 다양한 종류로 구분될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 도 9에 도시된 발광 모듈(100D)은 칩 온 보드(COB:Chip On Board) 형태로 구현될 수도 있고 이와 달리 패키지 온 보드(POB:Package On Board)의 형태로 구현될 수도 있다.
또한, 도 9에 도시된 몰딩 부재(170)는 제1-1 내지 제1-8 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18)를 포위하여 보호할 수 있도록, 각 발광 소자를 덮으면서 회로 기판(180) 위에 배치될 수 있다. 이때, 점멸 제어부(140)는 몰딩 부재(170)에 의해 덮이지 않을 수 있다. 또한, 몰딩 부재(170)는 형광체를 포함하여 제1-1 내지 제1-8 발광 소자(D11, D12, D13, D14, D15, D16, D17, D18)에서 방출된 광의 파장을 변화시킬 수 있다.
도 8 또는 도 9에 예시된 발광 모듈(100C, 100D)은 백색의 광을 방출할 수 있다. 이를 위해, 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자가 녹색을 띤 백색(Greenish white)의 광을 방출하고, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자가 적색 광을 방출할 수 있다. 또는, 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자가 청색과 녹색의 광을 방출하고, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자가 적색 광을 방출할 경우에도 혼합된 백색의 광이 발광 모듈(100C, 100D)로부터 방출될 수 있다. 또는, 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자가 청색과 녹색과 옐로우색의 광을 방출하고, 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자가 적색 광을 방출할 경우에도 혼합된 백색의 광이 발광 모듈(100C, 100D)로부터 방출될 수 있다.
실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈이 90 이상의 높은 연색 지수(CRI)를 갖기 위해서, 백색(또는, 녹색 화이트) 색의 광을 발광하는 발광 소자 이외에 적색의 광을 발광하는 발광 소자를 위한 채널이 별도로 필요하다. 이 경우, 적색 발광 소자는 온도가 증가할수록 광 출력이 줄어드는 특성이 있다. 그러나, 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100A, 100B, 100C, 100D) 각각은 제1-1 발광 소자(D11)와 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자로 전류를 분할하고, 적색의 광을 방출하는 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자에 흐르는 전류는 온도에 무관하게 일정하도록 하도록 서미스터를 이용한다. 따라서, 온도 변화에도 불구하고 동일한 색 좌표를 유지할 수 있다.
전술한 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100A, 100B, 100C, 100D)은 조명 장치나 표시 장치 같은 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.
도 10은 실시 예에 따른 발광 모듈을 포함하는 조명 장치의 일 실시 예를 나타낸 분해 사시도이다.
실시 예에 따른 조명 장치는 광을 투사하는 발광 모듈(600)과 발광 모듈(600)이 내장되는 하우징(400)과 발광 모듈(600)의 열을 방출하는 방열부(500) 및 발광 모듈(600)과 방열부(500)를 하우징(400)에 결합하는 홀더(700)를 포함하여 이루어진다.
하우징(400)은 전기 소켓(미도시)에 결합되는 소켓 결합부(410)와, 소켓결합부(410)와 연결되고 광원(600)이 내장되는 몸체부(420)를 포함한다. 몸체부(420)에는 하나의 공기유동구(430)가 관통하여 형성될 수 있다.
하우징(400)의 몸체부(420) 상에 복수 개의 공기유동구(430)가 구비되어 있는데, 공기유동구(430)는 하나의 공기유동구로 이루어지거나, 복수 개의 유동구를 도시된 바와 같은 방사상 배치 이외의 다양한 배치도 가능하다.
발광 모듈(600)은 발광 소자 패키지와 제어부를 포함하며, 도 1, 도 2, 도 8 또는 도 9에 예시된 발광 모듈(100A, 100B, 100C, 100D)에 해당할 수 있다. 발광 모듈(600)은 하우징(400)의 개구부에 삽입될 수 있는 형상일 수 있으며, 후술하는 바와 같이 방열부(500)로 열을 전달하기 위하여 열전도율이 높은 물질로 이루어질 수 있다.
발광 모듈의 하부에는 홀더(700)가 구비되는데 홀더(700)는 프레임과 또 다른 공기 유동구를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 도시되지는 않았으나 발광 모듈(600)의 하부에는 광학 부재가 구비되어 발광 모듈(600)에서 투사되는 빛을 확산, 산란 또는 수렴시킬 수 있다.
도 11은 실시 예에 따른 발광 모듈을 포함하는 표시 장치(800)의 일 실시예를 나타낸 분해 사시도이다.
도 11을 참조하면, 실시 예에 따른 표시장치(800)는 발광 모듈(830, 835)과, 바텀 커버(810) 상의 반사판(820)과, 반사판(820)의 전방에 배치되며 발광 모듈에서 방출되는 빛을 표시장치 전방으로 가이드하는 도광판(840)과, 도광판(840)의 전방에 배치되는 제1 프리즘시트(850) 및 제2 프리즘시트(860)와, 제2 프리즘시트(860)의 전방에 배치되는 패널(870)과 패널(870)의 전반에 배치되는 컬러필터(880)를 포함하여 이루어진다.
발광 모듈은 회로 기판(830) 상에 배치된 발광소자(835)를 포함하여 이루어지며 도 1, 도 2, 도 8, 또는 도 9에 도시된 발광 모듈(100A, 100B, 100C, 100D)에 해당할 수 있다.
바텀 커버(810)는 표시 장치(800) 내의 구성 요소들을 수납할 수 있다. 반사판(820)은 본 도면처럼 별도의 구성요소로 마련될 수도 있고, 도광판(840)의 후면이나, 바텀 커버(810)의 전면에 반사도가 높은 물질로 코팅되는 형태로 마련되는 것도 가능하다.
여기서, 반사판(820)은 반사율이 높고 초박형으로 사용 가능한 소재를 사용할 수 있고, 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET:PolyEthylene Terephtalate)를 사용할 수 있다.
도광판(840)은 발광소자 패키지 모듈에서 방출되는 빛을 산란시켜 그 빛이 액정 표시 장치의 화면 전영역에 걸쳐 균일하게 분포되도록 한다. 따라서, 도광판(840)은 굴절률과 투과율이 좋은 재료로 이루어지는데, 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(PolyMethylMethAcrylate; PMMA), 폴리카보네이트(PolyCarbonate; PC), 또는 폴리에틸렌(PolyEthylene; PE) 등으로 형성될 수 있다. 그리고, 도광판이 생략되어 반사시트(820) 위의 공간에서 빛이 전달되는 에어 가이드 방식도 가능하다.
제1 프리즘 시트(850)는 지지필름의 일면에, 투광성이면서 탄성을 갖는 중합체 재료로 형성되는데, 중합체는 복수 개의 입체구조가 반복적으로 형성된 프리즘층을 가질 수 있다. 여기서, 상기 복수 개의 패턴은 도시된 바와 같이 마루와 골이 반복적으로 스트라이프 타입으로 구비될 수 있다.
제2 프리즘 시트(860)에서 지지필름 일면의 마루와 골의 방향은, 제1 프리즘 시트(850) 내의 지지필름 일면의 마루와 골의 방향과 수직할 수 있다. 이는 발광 모듈과 반사시트로부터 전달된 빛을 패널(870)의 전방향으로 고르게 분산하기 위함이다.
본 실시 예에서 제1 프리즘시트(850)과 제2 프리즘시트(860)가 광학시트를 이루는데, 광학시트는 다른 조합 예를 들어, 마이크로 렌즈 어레이로 이루어지거나 확산시트와 마이크로 렌즈 어레이의 조합 또는 하나의 프리즘 시트와 마이크로 렌즈 어레이의 조합 등으로 이루어질 수 있다.
패널(870)은 액정 표시 패널(Liquid crystal display)가 배치될 수 있는데, 액정 표시 패널 외에 광원을 필요로 하는 다른 종류의 디스플레이 장치가 구비될 수 있다.
패널(870)은, 유리 바디 사이에 액정이 위치하고 빛의 편광성을 이용하기 위해 편광판을 양 유리바디에 올린 상태로 되어있다. 여기서, 액정은 액체와 고체의 중간적인 특성을 가지는데, 액체처럼 유동성을 갖는 유기분자인 액정이 결정처럼 규칙적으로 배열된 상태를 갖는 것으로, 분자 배열이 외부 전계에 의해 변화되는 성질을 이용하여 화상을 표시한다.
표시 장치에 사용되는 액정 표시 패널은, 액티브 매트릭스(Active Matrix) 방식으로서, 각 화소에 공급되는 전압을 조절하는 스위치로서 트랜지스터를 사용한다.
패널(870)의 전면에는 컬러 필터(880)가 구비되어 패널(870)에서 투사된 빛을, 각각의 화소마다 적색과 녹색 및 청색의 빛만을 투과하므로 화상을 표현할 수 있다.
이상에서 실시예를 중심으로 설명하였으나 이는 단지 예시일 뿐 본 발명을 한정하는 것이 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 실시예의 본질적인 특성을 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 이상에 예시되지 않은 여러 가지의 변형과 응용이 가능함을 알 수 있을 것이다. 예를 들어, 실시예에 구체적으로 나타난 각 구성 요소는 변형하여 실시할 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 이러한 변형과 응용에 관계된 차이점들은 첨부된 청구 범위에서 규정하는 본 발명의 범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
발명의 실시를 위한 형태는 전술한 "발명의 실시를 위한 최선의 형태"에서 충분히 설명되었다.
전술한 실시 예에 의한 발광 모듈(100A, 100B, 100C, 100D)은 조명 장치나 표시 장치 같은 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.
Claims (20)
- 서로 연결된 제1-1 내지 제1-M(여기서, M은 2 이상의 양의 정수) 발광 소자;상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 하나인 제1-m(1 ≤ m ≤ M) 발광 소자와 병렬로 연결된 제2-1 내지 제2-N(여기서, N은 1이상의 양의 정수) 발광 소자; 및구동 신호의 레벨에 따라, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자와 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어하는 점멸 제어부를 포함하고,상기 점멸 제어부는 상기 제1-m 발광 소자와, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어하는 제1 점멸 제어 유닛; 및상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자의 점멸을 제어하는 제2 점멸 제어 유닛을 포함하고,상기 제1 점멸 제어 유닛은상기 제1-m 발광 소자에 흐르는 제1 전류와 연계하여, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자에 흐르는 제2 전류의 온도에 따른 변화를 보상하는 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 점멸 제어 유닛은상기 제1-m 발광 소자와 병렬로 연결된 서미스터;상기 구동 신호의 레벨과 제1 기준 전압의 레벨을 비교하는 제1 레벨 비교부; 및상기 제1 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자로부터 상기 서미스터로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 형성하는 제1 전류 제어부를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 전류 제어부는 제1 트랜지스터를 포함하고,상기 제1 트랜지스터는상기 제2-N 발광 소자의 음극과 연결된 드레인;상기 제1 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결되는 게이트; 및상기 서미스터와 연결된 소스를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 점멸 제어 유닛은상기 구동 신호와 제2 내지 제M 기준 전압을 비교하는 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부; 및상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 상기 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 각각 형성하는 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제4 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부와 상기 기준 전위 사이에 연결된 센싱 저항을 더 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제5 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제2 내지 제M 트랜지스터를 각각 포함하고,상기 제2 내지 제M 트랜지스터 각각은상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 해당하는 발광 소자의 음극과 연결된 드레인;상기 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 중 해당하는 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트; 및상기 센싱 저항과 연결된 소스를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제2 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 점멸 제어 유닛은상기 구동 신호와 제2 내지 제M 기준 전압을 비교하는 제2 내지 제M 레벨 비교부;상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M-1 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 상기 제2 내지 제M-1 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 각각 우회시키는 제2 내지 제M-1 전류 제어부; 및상기 제1-M 발광 소자로부터 기준 전위로 전류가 흐르는 경로를 상기 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과에 응답하여 형성하는 제M 전류 제어부를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제7 항에 있어서, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부의 출력에 연결된 연결 저항을 더 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제7 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 제2 내지 제M 트랜지스터를 각각 포함하고,상기 제2 내지 제M-1 트랜지스터 각각은상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M-1 발광 소자 중 상기 제1-m 발광 소자를 제외한 발광 소자 중 적어도 일부의 양극 및 음극과 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스; 및상기 제2 내지 제M-1 레벨 비교부 중 해당하는 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제7 항에 있어서, 상기 제M 트랜지스터는상기 제1-M 발광 소자의 음극과 기준 전위에 각각 연결된 드레인 및 소스; 및상기 제M 레벨 비교부에서 비교된 결과와 연결된 게이트를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결되고, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 서로 직렬 연결된 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 제1-m 발광 소자는 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자 중에서 가장 먼저 턴 온되는 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 그린 화이트 색의 광을 방출하고, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 적색 광을 방출하는 발광 모듈.
- 제4 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 내지 제M 레벨 비교부 및 상기 제1 내지 제M 전류 제어부는 집적회로로 일체화된 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 교류 형태의 상기 구동 신호를 정류하여 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로 변환하는 정류부를 더 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제15 항에 있어서, 상기 정류부는 교류 형태의 상기 구동 신호를 상기 맥류 형태의 구동 신호로 변환하는 전파 다이오드 브릿지 회로를 포함하는 발광 모듈.
- 제1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자는 원형 평면 형태로 배치되는 발광 모듈.
- 제17 항에 있어서, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 원형 평면 형태로 배치된 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자의 사이에 등간격으로 배치된 발광 모듈.
- 제17 항에 있어서, 상기 제2-1 내지 제2-N 발광 소자는 상기 제1-1 내지 제1-M 발광 소자가 배치된 원형 평면의 내부에 배치된 발광 모듈.
- 제7 항에 있어서, 상기 제M 전류 제어부와 상기 기준 전위 사이에 연결되는 센싱 저항을 더 포함하는 발광 모듈.
